Brothers!

Arianna was already done delivering the flowers just as her mother instructed, she was on her way back to the shop, so she took the shortest and quickest route, which was an old alleyway, not much people made use of it, so it became an advantage to her. Since she didn't want to be seen by someone, she decided to take the route, Arianna walked in haste so she could get to the shop on time and also because she was scared of the alleyway.

She didn't know who was going to come out of nowhere and attack her, with light footsteps and continuously looking behind her, she was able to make it halfway through the alleyway. She sighed in relief thinking with just some steps she would be out of there, but….

"Well, well, well, guys, look who we have here." Came a familiar voice, Arianna cursed her luck for meeting him here. She raised her head up to glare at him but released another set of curses when she saw his gang behind him.

"I don't have time for this, Tim, kindly move to the other side and let me pass." She scowled, but the boys just giggled.

"We have all the time in the world, baby, you and I. So, where are you off to?" Tim asked, taking slow steps towards her. She took some steps back the closer he took another one, he took one forward again but as she made to move backwards she hit something hard. She turned her head, and as she guessed, it was one of Tim's minions standing behind her with a goofy grin. She hated them and their tyranny.

"Looks like there's nowhere for you to run to, baby,"

"Oh piss off, Tim." There was no need to be polite to him, since he doesn't listen to a simple word; she could also spell it out for him.

Tim chuckled then turned to his boys who had a grinning look on their faces, yeah they were enjoying the show, "she just cursed at me guys." He said, and they chortled.

"Tell her what I do with stubborn people and girls who swear at me." This time he was facing her, staring at her eyes with a wide grin on his face. He loves seeing the fear in his victims' faces, and seeing one in Arianna's face was a delight for him.

"You teach them a lesson, boss." The day one among his gang members said, and he nodded then looked at him.

"That's very correct fatty, but the lesson I teach them depends on how beautiful or handsome my prey is," he leaned close to Arianna's face, but she pushed his head backwards.

"Don't come near me!" She howled at him.

Tim's face changed, the smile that was on his lips changed to a frown at her words. Arianna looked at him with disdain and almost didn't believe it when she saw a little hurt in his eyes, she blinked and looked at him again but didn't see anything. Tim shook his head and with two short strides, he was already hovering over her.

"This wouldn't have happened if you'd accepted me Arianna, I would have protected you from every harm in this town, but you hurt my pride by turning my proposal down." His words were filled with disdain, hurt, and revenge.

Arianna sighed, she knew why he was doing all of this; blocking her path, making her scared. All of it was because she didn't accept his proposal of her being his girlfriend. She wasn't going to date the most notorious person in town, everyone knows who Tim was and how thuggery he was.

"I apologized for that Tim, but like I told you…" Tim cuts in angrily.

"You aren't ready yet, that's all you have to say after getting a proposal from one of this towns hot and handsome men." He retorted, and it took a strong will for her not too scoffed. Hot and handsome indeed.

"Don't you have any things to do but torment me because I rejected your proposal?" She so wanted to wipe that smirk off his annoying face.

"I don't, and seeing you cornered filled with fear with no one to save you is the most entertaining thing I've ever seen." He brought his hand up and trial a finger on Arianna's face. Slowly and slowly he took it to her nose, cheeks then to her lips, he swallowed nothing when he felt the soft texture of her lips. Lips he so wanted to kiss, to taste and to have all to himself.

"Let go of me." She cried out, she raised her hand to push his hand from her face, but the man behind her held her hands, restraining her from moving.

"Tim!" She yelled.

"What? Don't you like it when I rub your skin, your soft lips that I would like to taste." His voice was now low, his eyes glued to her lips.

Arianna panicked, she looked at the end of the alleyway but no one was insight same with the other side. She bit her tongue, she would admit that she was scared, scared of being alone with Tim and his gangs, scared of what he might do to her if no one comes to her rescue. Almost immediately, someone walked into the alleyway, and relief washed over her.

"Help me! Please help!" She called out loudly, gaining the attention of the man who was coming towards them.

Tim let go of her face and turned to face the intruder who walked in, he smirked, he saw he scared look in the man's eyes and how he stopped in his steps. With glee, he turned his attention back to Arianna, who also looked like she had been shot in her toes, "you see Arianna, nobody will save you. I think your hero also needs another hero to save you guys because since you've called him over, why don't we give him a little show." Tim said, and her eyes widened. She shook her head, no.

"No, Tim, he's innocent. He didn't do anything wrong, see, he fears you." Arianna said hysterically, trying to calm Tim down. She would rather not be the reason someone innocent would get hurt.

"Hmm," Tim placed his hand under his chin in a thinking manner, "I don't think he looks scared enough. How about teaching him just a little lesson to warn him to stay out of my business, huh?" He asked and nodded. He raised two fingers up and three boys stepped out, Arianna shook her head, taking her eyes back to the young man who just stood like a statue. If she wasn't far from him, she would be able to see him shaking.

"Run, get out of here!" She yelled, she wouldn't let him get hurt because of her.

The young man didn't take a step back or forward, he stood in his position watching as Tim's three boys came closer, one raised the golf stick in his hand and tried to hit him, but the young man held it with his hand glaring at the boy.

Everything happened quickly and before Arianna could bring out another words, the three boys were down, groaning in pain. Arianna gasped and took her eyes to the young man now walking slowly towards them, how was he able to do that? She wondered, still staring at him with wide eyes.

"Is that all you got Timmy, and how many times do I have to tell you that picking on girls doesn't make you a man but rather a pussy." The young man said, and Arianna took her eyes to Tim, who looked livid.

'The hell, Timmy'

"Why do you always spoil my fun, Theo." He grumbled, but one look from the young man shut him up.

"Fine, I'll let this go, but this wouldn't happen again," he came closer to Arianna and smiled, "I will be back baby, and the next time I catch you nobody will be saving you, not even him." He glared at Theo who stood beside Arianna, the walked off, with his minions following behind him.

Arianna's heart beat slowed down when Tim and his boys were out of sight, she was able to escape again, but how long would this go on.

"I'm sorry about my brother's attitude," she gasped loudly, stopping her hero from saying more.

"What happened, are you hurt anywhere?" He asked, looking closely at her.

Arianna shook her head, "I'm fine, but did you just say brother like the both of you are of the same parents." She asked in disbelief, her eyes took in her hero's appearance and came to a conclusion, they weren't brothers. The both of them look nothing alike at all.

"Yes, he's my brother, though not from the same mother. As I was saying, I apologize for his rude behavior, I'll make sure he doesn't hurt you again." He said calmly, Arianna scoffed, still in disbelief. Why were they brothers? How could someone so thuggish, and and ugly be the brother to this kind, calm and handsome hero here.

"I hope you forgive him." He continued.

"It's okay, thank you for saving me, mister." She bowed, she was truly grateful for his help.

"It's nothing, I mainly help those who my brother is terrorizing. Is your place still that far, I can walk with you if you don't mind." Arianna smiled at his thoughtfulness.

"It's fine, my mother's shop isn't that far from here. Once again, thank you mister for saving me." She bent to pick her money that fell down during all the drama.

"Like I said before, it's nothing, and please call me Theodore or Theo." He brought his hand for a handshake, and she politely took it.

"Arianna." Recognition shines in his eyes when he heard her name, no wonder his brother is so hooked. Arianna was a fine girl, and any man would die to be with her.

"See you some other time, Arianna."

"Hmm." Arianna waited until he had gone out before sprinting out of the alleyway, there was no way she was going to take this route again… not now, not ever.
