Chapter 1: Hobbies

Charmel Külisk was just a normal girl, at least that's how she saw herself. She played video games, watched anime, read mangas, and was a total homebody. She had absolutely no interest in looking for love or starting a relationship, and she was perfectly fine with that.

One day, while she was playing her favorite video game, she suddenly felt a strange feeling inside her. She felt like something was missing, but she didn't know what.

After thinking for a moment, Charmel realized that one of her collection figure was missing. She was pretty sure she put it on the shelf earlier, but now it was gone.

She started looking everywhere for it, but she couldn't find it anywhere. She even looked around her room, but it was nowhere to be found. She was very upset, because it was her favorite figure and it had sentimental value to her.

The sudden voice of her mother caught Charmel by surprise.

"Charmel! The breakfast is ready!"

Charmel was shocked. "Breakfast? Wait, it's already morning?" She had been so caught up in playing video games that she hadn't noticed how much time had gone by. She hadn't even slept last night, because she was up all night playing games.

"Charmel hurry up you gonna be late for school!

"Uh, yeah, I'm coming!"

Charmel quickly got up and headed towards the kitchen. She was already late for school, and her mother was going to be pissed. She had stayed up all night playing video games and hadn't even bothered to sleep. Now, she was going to be late for school and her mother was going to be really mad at her.

"But, but, I was just playing that new game, and I was so caught up in it, and I lost track of time..."

"that stupid hobbies of you!" Her mom says

"I know, I know, but I was just so into it! It was that new game I've been waiting for, and it was so fun, and I just lost track of time..."

Charmel was trying to defend herself, but her mother wasn't having any of it. She was mad that Charmel had stayed up all night playing video games and hadn't gotten any sleep.

"It's always those damn video games with you! You're always wasting your time playing stupid games instead of doing something productive!"

Charmel suddenly felt a wave of guilt wash over her. She knew her mother was right. She really was spending too much time playing video games and not doing anything productive.

"I'm sorry, mom, it won't happen again. I'll try to do better from now on."

"You keep saying that, but you never follow through," her mother replied. "You're always saying you'll do better, but then you just go back to playing those damn games."

"Good thing you know I never stop doing that hobbies bleehhh" Charmel run "I'm going to school now bye"

"And don't come back until you learn to control that damn hobby of yours!" Her mother shouted after her.

Charmel turned and ran out of the house, not even bothering to reply to her mother. She didn't care what her mother said, she was going to keep playing video games whether her mother liked it or not.
