Humility

"I have to say I'm impressed." I said with a smile, "You both did what I expected, if not more, I am proud of you my student."

Sul blushed and bowed her head, "I thank you for the compliment master."

My eyes landed on Darkseid, in my head, my mind flashed to multiple futures that I have seen from comics, to tv shows, to fanfictions, some-times horrifying fanfictions that made me extremely angry, it made me smile knowing what I have saved and how much the future would eventually change as well.

Darkseid walked over to me slowly, although Sul was surprised at this action and questioned him, I looked at him calmly with my eyebrow raised. Once he got a few meters from me he did what actually shocked the both of us.

Balling his right hand into a fist, he put it against his chest where his heart is, and he bowed in respect.

"Lord Kakarot." He said, "I have been informed of what you have done by my wife Sul, I do not know why you have done what you have did, but I will forever be in your debt for doing what you have done."

I expected him to slightly feel this way, but I didn't expect him to actually show any of it, and if Sul's reaction was any indication, she did not expect so either.

He never showed this type of himself to anyone else but her, so the fact that he showed this so willingly to Lord Kakarot was something to be impressed and deeply flattered over, she assumed it was because it was Lord Kakarot, and his presence is indeed frightning at times, but he does not seem to hold a frighting presence in the current present, but even when the legend was mentioned, Darkseid did not care. Though The legend of Kakarot's power far surpassed him in power, like an ant's power was to the soles of his boot.

He was nothing but a legend, and a legend unless proven real was a waste of time.

I raised my hand up to silence her, silence her I did.

"Darkseid..." I muttered, "You don't have to bow to me, I am just doing what I feel is right."

"Which is all the more reason to bow to you Lord Kakarot." Darkseid's cold voice said sternly, "You saved the only light to my life, my only life in my life, without her I do not know where I would be at this moment, because of your actions, the life of my beloved was saved."

Sul was stunned at this action.

"D-darkseid."

When Darkseid saw the changes within Sul, and he heard of what was done to her, and that it was the legend, the creator's hand, Kakarot himself, Darkseid still didn't show anything, but the fact that he didn't deny her or the fact that he didn't bluntly state she deceiving him, spoke for itself.

She opened her mouth to speak, but I raised my hand to silenced her. She closed her mouth out of respect for her teacher.

"Darkseid." I spoke my voice stern and cold, "Rise!"

Darkseid rose, his voice stern, I looked at hikm, "You have a second chance, both of you, it does not matter what you both do from now on, as your will is well yours to control, for whatever reason you desire. However, my advise is simple, do not follow in your fathers footsteps, or your fate will be the same."

Darkseid showed no reaction, but he nodded his head, Sul looked kind of displeased at what I said but she understood why I said what I said.

"The two of you may go," I turned my attention to Sull, "You have progressed well over this short period of time,"

I ruffled her hair and smiled, "Keep up with your training my little student, I will be watching over you throughout the times."

I turned them unknown, and vanished.
