Chapter 6 – Finale
Falling from the tree in horror, I see the color in her eyes fading as she crashes into the tree and comes to a dead halt, slumping to the ground.
I scream out, "EMMAA!!!" Shocked, I cover my hand over my mouth as I realize it's Lily, and flashbacks slowly come rolling in of holding Emma's lifeless body in my arms, cursing everything.
Swearing to never let something like that happen again, I push through the exhaustion and the strong pain pinging all over my body. It all fades away at the thought of losing someone close to me, however.
As this is happening, all I can hear from behind is the Demon General laughing as his body is slowly overtaken. He attempts to place his hand over his chest to fully regenerate while being sealed away. However, Shamot grabs both his hands, snapping them both and piercing Clay through them, before circling a sealing spirit technique on them.
