Pink Cat is Pitiful

"Good morning Kai, want to have breakfast with the rest of the family? You have been stuck in the house for over three months now don't you want to come out?" Wang Chen smiled when he saw the dazed sleepy look on the other boy.

Kai blinked and yawned cutely making his eyes have droplets of tears at the corners. Chen is mesmerized by the cuteness of his younger brother. In the past, no matter how one looked at Kai they wouldn't associate him with the word cute.

He was obnoxious and angry all the time. Every time they met, he would shout and accuse him of pretending. Later he was asked to leave the house because there was no peace in the house with him there.

From then on things got worse and worse between the two of them. Kai was convinced that it was Chen's fault that his parents who previously doted on him now regard him as a nuisance.

But looking at the boy wearing a large dress? He seems very cute, and fluffy. Not a nuisance at all. Wang Chen completely forgot to show surprise at the boy's excellent physical appearance.

Kai has been inside his house for over two months and no one has seen him outside at that time he was very fat but Wang Chen didn't show any surprise at all which made the boy with a high IQ think that he is probably being monitored.

He walked inside letting the elder brother entered the villa. He also opened the screen on the tablet so he can see what this brother of his is really doing here. As soon as he entered the bedroom, the other boy walked towards the silver wolf and studied it carefully.

The wolf didn't acknowledge Wang Chen which made him walk straight to it as if he knows it is not a wild animal. He touched it and tried to take some fur but the synthetic fur is not as easy as the real thing to pull out.

Wang Chen sat down and waited for Wang Kai to finish dressing up but even a while later the boy didn't come out. When he finally showed up he is wearing very large clothes making him look like he is drowning. Helpless, Chen decided to go shopping with Kai later, but breakfast is canceled.

Perhaps this may decidedly close the gap between them. He wants to get to know this brother of his, this desire is only possible because of Kai's obvious change. Had it been before he wouldn't come anywhere near the other party.

But now Kai is no longer after him like a hound. Always barking and biting towards him at every turn. No, he ignores his family and demands nothing of them. This isolated expression makes Chen want to get close, close enough that he would be able to become brothers.

"I will come back during the day with some of my old clothes and we will go shopping. Good job losing weight though. How is your heart?" He sounded concerned but Kai just looked at him in bewilderment. He didn't want to be rude so he answered with the help of his home system.

"I am still taking my medication. There are no problems for now." He said the truth, he still takes his medicine but he is also taking the potion that is supposed to heal heart diseases in a few weeks.

Wang Chen smiled at him which looked painful to watch since he always makes a straight face or disdainful expressions whenever he looks at him in the past. Seeing his smile, Kai grimaced.

Wang Yan saw the entire interaction on the monitor and laughed at his son who is not used to smiling so it scares people when they see him smile. Wang Chen on the other hand is fascinated by the pink cat like eyes and wanted to take a closer look.

"Your skin is so white and tender, are you using female skin care products?"

Kai is stunned stupid when he heard the question. He blinked and then nodded but then he shook his head again. He went to a bathroom draw and took out a small bottle with two pills inside.

"This is a beauty pill, I didn't use it myself but it can turn a frog into a princess without the non consensual kiss." Kai typed, the electronic butler spoke while Kai smiled a dazzling smile.

Good lord there is even a pair of deep dimples on the sides. They must have been hidden in think layers of fat in the past.

In truth, Kai's dimples were very clear it is him who didn't look at Kai in the past. The pink fluffy hair plus the big bright eyes made Wang Chen's heart itchy. It's really the care of small adorable animals that is controlling him right now.

Hearing what Kai said, Chen looked at the ugly looking pills in the bottle with a raised eyebrow.

"What do these two blobs of mud do?"

"They beautify." Kai said with confidence.

"Have you been using untested medications?" Chen frowned.

"Yes. But I haven't used this one...I made it for fun and then forgot about it. It's your question that reminded me I have it." Kai typed.

"If you didn't use these than how did you become so...?" He wanted to say 'pretty' but what boy wants to hear that word about themselves?

"Pink? That is a hair changing pill. It will stay for a month even if I go into the shower with it. Fun fact, all body hair becomes pink...I had to darken my eyebrows otherwise I look like a strawberry ice cream topping." Kai said smilingly....."All the hair is my body is fluffy pink."

Wang Chen couldn't help but lower his head to look at a certain spot on the young man's body with clouded thoughts. He heard a sound coming from Kai, it seems he is laughing at him.

"You're joking?"

"No."

But he still laughs until he disturbs something on his throat and then it's started burning. The boy's eyes changes suddenly from the laughing kitten before to a pitiful expression with glassy eyes as if tears will fall any moment now.

"Kai! Are you okay?" He ran into the kitchen and put water into a glass then gave it to Kai whose throat is burning from pain. He drank a mouthful and then looked at the expression on Chen's face.

Chen's face is showing great distress, his expression made a big lump sit in Kai's heart heavily. He suddenly felt awful as if seeing a worried expression directed at him from Chen made him unwell.

Like the thing that he has always wanted to see finally happening but for some reason, it feels like it is happening far too late. He closed his eyes and pushed Wang Chen outside the main door. He shut the door and leaned against it, sliding down in a sitting position and for some unknown reason he started crying.

Once the tears started they couldn't stop falling. The spirit in the space sees this scene and cringes. This is undoubtedly the residual feelings of the host. The all knowing and powerful master couldn't be so weak. But for some reason, this version of it's master humanizes the master who had always been alone and suspicious of everything and everyone.

Perhaps choosing a very emotional young body was a good idea. It will balance the master who always isolates herself from those around her. Even when she was doing so much for humanity she was still not a part of them. But now, she can finally enjoy simply being alive.

The large wolf came and sat beside him as if to provide him with support. He cried for a long time and then fell asleep on the silver wolf's soft and warm body.

Wang Yan saw the boy break down and realized their neglect over the past especially when Kai woke up with a slit throat only to realize he is utterly alone, they were wrong, he was wrong.

The boy is a genius but had stayed in high school so that he doesn't lose what little interaction he has with his family. He could have possibly done a lot of things to ensure the board of directors in the Wang company allowed him to be a future heir apparent but he didn't do anything except to speak of fighting for the family assets with Wang Chen.

It was all so they can take another look at him but now, the boy has moved on and has drawn a clear line between himself and the Wang family even as he still lives here.

Wang Yan took out a bottle and poured himself a glass of bourbon. He Is ready to watch the little boy sleep just like that when two maids come over and carried him to the bedroom. They came back out a short while later and sat down.

Looking at these robots covered in expensive synthetic materials he felt his heart hurt. They don't seem like robots at all. Even their movements are natural. If Wang Kai wanted to sell these two robots he would be a rich man.

But the boy has had them for a while without any moves. What he doesn't know is that the three are still not ready. Kai is still looking for a set of suitable fighting style for each of them so they can be his faithful allies.

Currently the wolf will not use it's titanium sharp claws and razor blade fangs on anyone who isn't a threat to Kai. The other two still only have the nanny data downloaded into their computer chips.

Kai is still downloading a list of recipes for them to prepare for him on daily basis at least once a day. At the moment he is not proud of their functionality because they are still using a chip that can be found in the black market.

He will consider them complete when he has made a new chip with higher functioning capacity for each companion. He is working on it. The new chip is very sophisticated and can accommodate a lot more functions. Kai is not in a hurry though. He will get there soon enough.
