Nina and the group fled from the place and in three days they made it to the base. Kai had instructed them to go and get employment in the school. The medical staff will be of great value in the school while Nina is a strong warrior who can help protect the school.

Meantime Kai and Phil are not in agreement on what is more important. "Developing the teleportation device is more important than fighting for people who won't thank you."

"What if they do what they did before and let the enemy towards my territory as a form of retaliation for my absence?" Kai asked his closest advisor.

"You left over 25 thousand regular robots who are proficient in using all kinds of weapons. What is more urgent is for you to complete this teleportation formula from the miniaturized version inside your bracelets."

Now that he is not just a magic artifact but has knowledge of technology science is very surreal for Phil. But that is not why he is pushing for the teleportation device, danger is approaching and this guy has no clue.

Kai rolled his eyes. He went to see the new library facilities that Philip had spoken about. The warehouses are filled with artifacts of different uses. He picked up a jade slip. After sending his his spirit power into it, he is surprised by its use.

It can be used to enter into to a contract with several parties. All they have to do is to send in their power and a drop of blood. This one is a simple one with a single purpose, to make it impossible for everyone involved in the contract to betray each other.

The sects use these for a temporary or long term team that is supposed to go on a mission together. This makes it easier for the team to work together without fear of a sudden sabotage.

The garden is vast and has many fruits that are surrounded by a spirit fog making them appear mysterious. Kai had read about some of them.

He saw many familiar ones such as the mental fruit and the tree with a liquid that can make metal stronger while making it flexible.

"That is the dragon fruit, why would you let me have mediocre slaves when I have such fruits? This can clean up their bodies and enhance their potential down to their spirit roots." Kai exclaimed in surprise.

"I handed over several cultivation technique manuals to you before I had to go back into seclusion at that time. You were supposed to give the manuals to the slaves." Phil sounded helpless.

"I still wanted to clean their systems thoroughly before doing that." Kai said in response.

"Besides, is there a need to make them terribly powerful to that extent?" Kai wondered.

"The future is uncertain but this world is full of danger. This is just the prelude to what comes after." Phil warned with a solemn tone stunning Kai.

"How would you know?" Kai asked when he saw the firm belief in the spirit's face.

"I ..." Phil sorted out his thoughts and then decided to tell Kai the truth.

"There is a place that records deeds of heavenly children. Or those referred to as the children of destiny. The reason I didn't want you to fight that woman is because she is one of them. This world is on her side, or atleast it was in the first time line but your sister was supposed to take her life in this life."

Kai remembered that Philip is a spirit of a library artifact. "You mean like a story with a main character?" Kai asked.

"Exactly like that."

"And you have read such storied before?" Kai asked wondering what else is his companion hiding from him.

"Not read, more like I can comprehend them as soon as I enter the world. The story of this world is that of an apocalypse rebirth. There are two main characters, the lady outside and your adoptive sister who is a reborn spirit from the future past." Phil said.

"Haha, that makes sense. Considering she went after me like a mindless beast the moment she came back, I must be someone important in the future."

"...Something like that." Phil doesn't want to tell the truth because it might affect Kai's state of mind but it is imperative that he doesn't draw the attention of another child of destiny to himself like he did with his sister.

"So what dangerous things are coming?" Kai asked Phil when he saw that he doesn't want to say anymore about Wang Ning.

"This is a reverse harem novel world. She is the one who ends up surrounded by talented men who worship the ground she walks on. Ning has a boyfriend who also becomes drawn towards her making Ning and many other women

suffer because of it."

Kai gave Phil a bored look. "Are you afraid I will fall head over heels for the Necromancer?"

"She turns them into her loyal slaves with her Necromancer seed of consciousness. Miss Wang Ning was supposed to find out in this life as she goes head to head with the Necromancer."

"Many women and all those who stand in her way will suffer terribly and that is why I was asking you to make your slaves very powerful so that your school will be safe from the attacks." What Phil didn't say is that he doesn't want his hard work to be wasted and left without a guardian if Kai ends up leaving this world as well.

"Lets make the slaves powerful then. But I think that is not enough. Do I know any of woman whose man will be snatched by her?"

"You know three. Red haird Carlos whom you met at the first meeting is already under the seed of consciousness influence. His lover was Mandy who was present when you attended a night club with Paige that one time. Then there is your adoptive brother Wang Chen whose fiance is Wen Mai but they don't get along. Followed by Liu Aang whom you saved from a zombie the night Wang Yan beat up his step mother. His fiance is a red haired girl called Linda."

"Okay, lets send the manuals and the accompanying resources to the slaves and then lets visit this Linda person." Kai realized if he is in a novel that he is too lazy to participate in squabbles with the characters. It is better to arm someone else with absolute strength so they can do it for him.

They sorted out the resources with a dragon fruit, plenty of spirit fruits that Kai had been eating from the magic space. These are the fruits that have element spirit inside. Kai had eaten a fire element fruit on his first try. He gave each slave several of such fruits and several other resources such as pills and potions.

The banana looking dragon fruit has a tree in the library garden so Kai is not too stingy with the amount. He gave each person three dragon fruits. The people without a spirit root will eat a spirit root fruit of their choosing to acquire a spirit root they desire.

Kai went out of his space and sent the items into each slave except for the 12 slaves without a spirit root. He sent them a question of which supernatural power will they want to have. This included Ye Lang who didn't have a spirit root.

Having sent the messages Kai looked down to see the army had returned to their original silent mode. It seems Zhai has finished his mission and is probably headed to the central base.

Kai got replies from his people and sent the corresponding spirit root fruit to each person and the same amount of cultivation resources he had sent to the others with instructions to quickly grow strong.

Ye Lang's inbox message had several instructions of how to use the resources sent to his inventory. "What is that? It looks scary!"

Ye Ling entered the kitchen and found his brother holding a black shadowy fruit in his hands studying it carefully. "Master asked me what supernatural power do I desire and I answered that I want the shadow power. The same as Miss Paige." He answered honestly and points at his fruit.

"I think it is supposed to give me this power."

"Try it." Ye Ling said after she heard it came from Kai, their master is mysterious and unfathomable. Obtaining such a miraculous item doesn't seem impossible.

Ye Lang ate the fruit and fell unconscious immediately after. His twin sister had the maids take him to his room and also checked her messages. When she saw the instructions and the descriptions of various items, she smiled a radiant smile. She knew her master will not forget her.

Taking the dragon fruit she also lost consciousness and was taked to lay inside a bathtub since she is extricating foul smelling black substance from her body. When she woke up, she felt strong and light.

Her capacity to hold power has more than tripled making her wind blades more powerful than those of people her level. She took the spirit cultivation manual and went into seclusion.

The construction of the school was suddenly left to the robots as all 23 slaves including Paige and the twins went to cultivate spiritual energy in seclusion. The school design and subsequent plans had long been in the robot database, they don't need too much supervision.

The six base leaders and their counterparts also got the same inbox message and items from Kai. They all decided to heed Kai's instructions and go to cultivate spiritual energy to grow stronger.

Kai is studying the central base map to determine the location of Linda. He flew towards the buildings where Linda stays with her family. He watched as Linda the woman he had met at the medicinal herb market tried to placate her heart broken mother. She meems slimmer than he remembers, even that red fiery hair is now dull compared to the past.

When she got to her room, her expression turned grave as she punched the nearby wall leaving scorch marks. "Liu Aang you vile creature." She mummers in a low voice.

"Ow my, did I come at an awkward time?" Kai said with a grimace. Linda jumped and attacked the man coming from her bathroom.

Kai dodged the incoming fire and stepped away. "Kai? What the hell are you doing in my bathroom?"

"I am doing what people do in there. FYI don't go in there." Kai made a disgusted face.

"I heard you could use my help." Kai said seating at the dressing table.

"What do you mean?"

"You know..." Kai said "The problem with your fiance." Kai said carefully not wanting her earlier anger to be directed at him.

"What can you do?" Linda heard about how powerful Kai Waters has gotten, even a behemoth like the Huo family was bested in his hands.

"Think of me as your fairy god daddy. Nothing is impossible if it has to do with improving your power." Kai said arrogantly.

"My family was recently kicked out of our home because of Liu Aang. He conspired with my bitch aunt." She seems so angry that her words are coming out as gasps.

"I see." He didn't expect the troubles to have arisen so soon. "Phil I thought they would break up after the Necromancer came?"

"This is because of your interference." Phil replied.

"I will give you something to grow strong and in return you will do me one favor in the future. Is that Alright?" Kai asked since he wants to go back to his research. Apparently there's some sort of threat coming for all the bases according to Phillip.

"Okay." She readily accept because she is desperate at the moment. Her mother is ill and her younger sister is clueless. Her father has already moved on to a new wife and has no care for this family of three.

Linda just doesn't know what the Liu family promised her father for him to back away so resolutely. "Take this, it will help you store items outside your smart bracelet. It has three football field worth of space. There are items inside with clear instructions on how to use them. Grow a team of trusted people and protect yourself well. There is a tool inside that will ensure trust among your teammates. Grow strong fast so that you and your peoplewill be of use to be."

There is a meditation incantation that will draw in the surrounding spirit power into the bodies of those with a spirit root. As long as she takes the dragon feuit to increase her meridians capacity she will be a one man army.

Her supernatural power will increase in a short time period. That is why Kai gave her the jade slip so that she and her team will not betray each other and make him lose an important tool.

Kai disappeared from the girl's room leaving her gobsmacked. She is recognized as the owner of the ring and takes the items studying them on how to make use of them.

Three days later she recruited a team of people and together they formed a team. Linda had jumped from level four to level seven in her supernatural power. This is above the level of her cousin who is actually her half brother.

This way she is no less talented than her bastard brother whose mother made her father even chase them away from home. Linda didn't forget about her mother, in the space items there are all sort of fruits and pills. The man who abandoned them will be very sorry.

Linda and Liu Aang were in love but he is now sleeping around he even has several women living in his villa like a harem king. Linda broke off her relationship him but she didn't tell her mother.

She and her mother were kicked out of their large and powerful family by their father using her failed engagement as an excuse. It is just because her aunt who is her mother's sister had seduced her father and even convinced him to kick them out after her son reached level 6 of thunder supernatural power.

She clenher fists and a hot invisible wave radiated from her body scortching the air making it twist all around her. This is her heat wave which is a unique skill that will bring down her enemies without burning them to a crisp.

In the space artifacts she saw a few pills including one that can cure her mother's disease. She hadn't even read all the way before she made her mother drink it. She will take her mother to the hospital to check if the disease is gone.
