Su Shu frowned, "Give me a reason."
"I am naturally..."
"Tell the truth!" Su Shu interrupted its narcissism.
"I couldn't find any of my kind outside, so I had to come back, begging the master to take me in!"
Su Shu looked up at the Little Snake King, "What does it mean?" What does it mean it couldn't find any of its kind?
The Little Snake King swayed its hanging tail, eyes fixed on the fox, "Have all of your Fox Clan kicked the bucket?"
If it were as usual, upon hearing this, the fox would have certainly argued back, but this time, not only did it not rebut, it actually nodded, its voice heavy, "I went out and looked everywhere but couldn't find a single one of my kind."
The Little Snake King uttered an "oh," "You might not have looked in the right places."
