Where is Mi Chan? (FB)

Sang Qian's grasp on her purse tightened but her expression didn't waver," Um, I had something to give to you. Father asked me to." Wang Zhao nodded his head," have a seat." She did exactly what she was asked to. Taking a look at his office she sighed," um, by the way, about Mi Chan. She is staying with me currently. Aren't you jealous?"

He looked at her, closing the laptop in front of him," Why would I be jealous when she is my girlfriend. Or are you by any chance Bi?" Sang Qian curled her fists when she heard him," you guys are dating? Well, fair enough. And No I am not bisexual. Just asking, you know living with your girlfriend is a different feeling."

He nodded," Maybe I will convince her to move in with me?" Sang Qian nodded," I see, well, I have been taking good care of her though. But, she is suspicious at times." Wang Zhao frowned," are you here to talk with me about my girlfriend? Or are you here to manipulate me into thinking she is suspicious?"

Sang Qian scoffed," Thats not what I meant." She was cut off," hand me the papers and leave. I am busy." She sighed and smiled sadly to herself. She pulled out the file and a pen. She lifted a page up and started writing her father's message for him; not wanting to speak to him anymore. She left it on the table and stretched her back.

She turned around and noticed Mi Chan on the door. She froze. Did she hear her? Wasn't she on a leave? But surprisingly Mi Chan smiled at her," what a surprise to see you here Sister Qian." Sang Qian smiled back awkwardly," I was here to to discuss something important. I will leave you two love birds alone now. I was heading home by the way, see you then."

Mi Chan smiled at her," Yes I will see you then!" Sang Qian felt heavy hearted when she walked out. She gulped the blank and sad feeling inside her and put on a smile deciding to forget it. On her way back she spotted Li Zinhuo, at a cafe by himself.

She walked inside and patted his shoulder cause he surely was busy in his phone texting someone. He looked back with a hint of surprise," No one else has the audacity to tap my shoulder like this sister." She smiled," weren't you moving to a new city?"

He smiled," take a seat first." Sang Qian was now seated in front on him," spill the tea." He sighed," I had to come back for some work. Because I can't entirely leave the business here." Sang Qian scoffed internally,' I saw that business.'

Li Zinhuo frowned," why are you looking at me like that?" She shook her head," oof, I was dazed. By the way how is sisters-in-law. She seems to be too busy to talk with me. I texted her though." He coughed furiously," Um, she is just focused on her studies and at the same time family business."

Sang Qian nodded her head," be loyal to her alright? If I spot with any girl here, you are dead you little playboy!" Li Zinhuo chuckled," I am really loyal. If you don't believe me you can ask James. He is always by my side. Moreover, don't misunderstand everytime you see me with a girl. We might be colleagues or maybe I have a god sister."

Sang Qian knew what he was implying. So he did notice her that day. She smiled and lifted her cup," I wondered. But rest assured." He nodded his head," I heard from Wang Zhao, his girlfriend is staying with you. It's surprising. Are you jealous of her? Are you spying on her? These were the only questions in my head."

She nodded," Ah I see. Its okay. People do wonder that at times but I just happened to save her from some strange men following her that day. She was living in the slums in the city. So, thought my place would be safer for her." He nodded," that's really good. I wonder what would have been the JERK's reaction."

Sang Qian sighed," he is rather satisfied since they have been dating and they often come home together." She noticed his hands clench on his phone. A smirk made its way on her lips as she called for the waiter," Excuse me, please get me some iced coffee." The waiter nodded," regular double shots coming." She smiled lightly.

A few minutes later, Mi Chan and Wang Zhao entered the cafe. A surprise washed over Sang Qian who was having a casual talk with her cousin about her daily life. A long day indeed. She ignored them but Mi Chan didn't. She approached Sang Qian," Oh, I see you again! What a surprise to see you with Mr Li. You two look good together."

Wang Zhao was the one to chuckle," They are cousins Chan, don't be silly." Mi Chan raised her eyebrows," Oh, ok. Well I won't disturb you two. Enjoy." She looked at Li Zinhuo as she left.

Sang Qian sighed," Do you know her well?" Li Zinhuo cleared his throat," not really. I just know her father." Sang Qian asked sheepishly," you know her father? Is he rich?" Li Zinhuo squinted his eyes at her," You don't need to know."

Sang Qian smiled lightly.

Another week passed since that day, Sang Qian had to visit Wang Zhao twice for their ongoing project. She had been busy. One day when she and Mi Chan returned back to building. She noticed a few men followed them along inside.

She also noticed two strange looking men in the elevator. Mi Chan tensed up. Sang Qian could see her hands trembling. She turned to look at the man and smiled lightly at him. The man didn't give any reaction. Her own heart rate increased. What was this. She didn't know why she sensed as If Mi Chan was the one they were after. She pressed the button to Wang Zhao's floor.

The door opened on their floor and the men stepped out before they could look back Sang Qian pressed another button and the door almost closed. They pulled Sang Qian out of the elevator but Mi Chan escaped.

Sang Qian kicked one of the men and then punched the other in face," mind your hands boy!" She noticed one of them had gun. She skillfully snatched the gun and shot both of them in their leg. The men groaned in pain but then she noticed another group of men reaching her from the stairs. She ran inside her apartment and dialled Mi Chan's number locking the door behind.

Her hands were trembling. Her heart skipped a million beats then. She was all alone. Mi Chan didn't answer her phone, it was switched off on the second try. Sang Qian cursed," shit!" She dialled Wang Zhao's number. He didn't answer either.

She heard a loud bang and the door bursted open. A shiver ran down her spine as those men approached her. She shot another one and bam the gun needed a reload. She threw the gun on one man's face. She felt a man grab her hair as he questioned her," Where is Mi Chan?!" She gulped as blood oozed out of her sweaty forehead. She wished someone would save her.

But no one came. Another man yelled at her," Aren't you interested a little too much in Mi Chan's past. You should stop doing that now! You get it?!" Sang Qian smirked. The man hit her as she fell on the cold floor. She was beaten badly that day. After she almost lost her consciousness. The men threw her in her bed and cleaned the mess.

Sang Qian's eyes were blank; not a single ounce of energy left in her. She laid there almost dead. Next day she woke up in the hospital and that's when she built a trauma for arguments and someone hurting her physically.

She met Ji Jin and Wang Yuhan who saved her because they wanted to visit her. She didn't see Mi Chan nor Wang Zhao. Both of them didn't visit her. She was staying at the hospital as her mother and sister took care of her. She still couldn't get rid of the memories of that day.

On the last day Wang Zhao finally showed up with Mi Chan by his side. Almost two weeks had passed.

Sang Qian had a nightmare again. When she woke up, it was bright outside. There was no one by her side. Her mother might have been freshening up. She gulped lightly and lifted herself to her elbows.

She heard the door open abruptly. Her heart skipped a beat, it reminded her of that day. She knew she had to be strong so she stared at it and saw Wang Zhao enter with Mi Chan. Sang Qian felt energy draining from herself as soon as she saw Mi Chan. Her fists curled up. Only if that day Mi Chan would have tried to help her.

She looked down as she reminded herself what a bitch she was. Her eyes traveled back at Wang Zhao who looked at her forehead, where she had a bandage wrapped and her fractured left arm. She looked away when he looked in her eyes," I got to know you witnessed a horrific accident that night?"

Sang Qian scoffed," I am fine now. Its been two weeks. Thanks for visiting." He frowned," I also got to know from Mi Chan that there were men who tried to hurt her but she escaped it. She was mistaken that you had planned all of that." Sang Qian frowned back at him," are you seriously asking me this? Right now?"

Mi Chan was looking everywhere but her. Wang Zhao crossed his arms over his chest," did you really do that? Is it all a publicity stunt?" Sang Qian was raged," are you kidding me? That Girlfriend of yours, she was the one I saved by risking my life. I called you, you fool! You didn't answer and she purposely switched her phone off."

Wang Zhao sighed," she was attacked too. There were men on the top floor too." Sang Qian scoffed," such a liar you are Mr.Wang Zhao! And you Mi Chan, such a snitch you were to betray me! It's all your doing."

Wang Zhao looked back and noticed how tears rolled down Mi Chan's cheeks. He curled his fists in anger," you leave! I will talk with her." Mi Chan ran outside and Sang Qian scoffed," she really is a thing."

Wang Zhao laughed coldly," do you think I believe you?! Huh? I know you like me, but this is a crazy and stupid way to catch my attention."

Sang Qian cocked a brow at him," You better leave too. Before I say something that will make you hate me more! Get the fuck away from my face!" He stood up as he held her jaw tightly," Don't you dare talk to me like that. I am here to make it clear to you. If you hurt her once, You will be dead. I can sacrifice anything to protect her."

Sang Qian grabbed his hand and jerked it away," get out!" He scoffed and threw the bouquet of flowers on the floor as he left banging the door behind.
