Chapter 2

Freya was getting ready to leave her deserted castle for a little while and visit the night market. She prepares to leave with her black cloak after putting an earth clone on guard so she might browse the market at her leisure.

She exits the building and leaps off into the direction of her destination. She felt as though she had been immobile for days and needed to move her body. Due to the distance between the royals' castle and the night market or the actual hamlet of Anhaw Kingdom, a speed Pegasus must be used as a mount or as a conveyance for servants and royalty in order to travel. If they choose to walk, it will take them three hours. But with her enhanced abilities she can travel only for fifteen minutes with her top speed and only thirty minutes for her average speed.

She feels illuminated and guided in the pitch-black forest she is currently traveling through thanks to the moon's dazzling radiance. She runs swiftly across the pitch-black forest, jumping over trees as she goes.

The Anhaw Kingdom's Dark Raven Forest is well known for its deadly, highly graded beasts, which also peaks the interest of the hunters, especially because capturing these monsters has high bounty. She can feel the monsters' eyes on her as she runs and jumps, but they have learnt who is stronger than them and have not dared to attack or come close to her.

The buzzing of the town was audible as soon as she landed. The good-for-nothing princess lazily strolled around the town with the knowledge that no one would recognize her because no one in the town knew her face, and she had applied makeup to make herself unrecognizable, especially to those in the palace.

Before going to the town's guild, Crow Guild, she first purchased some street food to eat. There are many requests with excellent prizes in this guild, and the riskier the request, the more expensive the reward. The same mechanics of the rewards system are used by this guild, which also offers customers classified information.

She was welcomed by a middle-aged man in a suit who still looked young and appeared to be in his early 20s as soon as she reached the classified pathway. He was holding a tray with a mask and bowing to her.

"Welcome back, Mistress", He greeted with politeness and respect to the newly arrived lady. She grab the mask and wears it. It is mostly a black mask with black feathers at the side,

"Ian how's the beloved family?" She asked while they continue to walk into a tunnel.

" Jacob is at the top of the academy and he is one of the candidate for the upcoming Central School examination while my wife, Elenor is managing the guild's money well. The internal and external relationship is going well. I will inform you about the latest news in details after we arrive, Mistress."

After moving along for a minute, they arrived in what appeared to be an office space. The strongest wood in the realm is used to make it, and the majority of it has a red theme. To prevent anyone from daring to chop any wood to sell, the entire guild is constructed from the strongest wood and is surrounded by a barrier.

She sat on her table. Ian immediately gave her favorite refreshment. One by one, people came in the office.

" Good evening, Mistress. Let the Crow take the secret of the realm." They said in unison. It is the motto of the guild.

" My beloved disciples. I am glad to see you all. Let the Crow know thy secrets." Freya stated with a lovely smile on her face. These people are her home and family which she cares so much.

" The months total revenue is 100 million gold bars, 75 million of silver coins and 60 million bronze coins, Mistress." A middle-aged woman but still looking at her early 20s. Elenor Scott, Ian's wife and the accountant and marketing personnel of the Guild.

" It was higher than our last month's revenue. You are really amazing, Elenor. Thank you for your hard work. " Freya said with delight and sincerity. Elenor smiled at her as a response

"We are now having additional informants from other mainland. Thus, it will help keeping up with updates and issues requested by clients. We already verified their identity and loyalty. In my name, I assure that they are trustworthy and capable, Mistress." Ian reported. He is mostly the one who keep the information coming and the employment of staffs. He is the second hand and act as acting Guild Master when Freya is away. He is the one who keep the internal and external affair in place.

" Thank you for the update, Ian. Thank you for the hard work. " He bowed as a respond.

"Business in town is progressing. Most of the town's people already have jobs and business. Employment rate are high and their wages are fair and just. Our latest business, The Medical Pavilion will be finishing next week. Herbs and medicine all over the different Mainland will be coming starting tomorrow, Mistress." Cathaleya Scott reported. She is the eldest daughter of the Scott Family. She is good manager and handler of businesses.

" That's really good. I want you to inform me when the goods are here. I need to check them for authenticity. Thank you for your hard work, Cathaleya." Cathaleya curtsy as a response to Freya.

" Jacob, reporting that I am part of the top five of our academy and I am one of the candidate for the Central Mainland Recruitment Examination." Jacob handed his invitation card and medal as a proof of his report. He salutes at Freya and bowed. He is the youngest child of the Scott's Family. He is two years older to Freya. Jacob is already 18 years old while Freya is 16 years old.

" Congratulations but are you prepared enough?" Freya challenged Jacob with her smirking face.

" I prepared for years but I am still needing some guidance, Mistress. Please grant me the wisdom and bravery of the Crows!" Jacob exclaimed and bowed.

"I will test you tomorrow but I still need information about the upcoming exam. Give me information tomorrow 8 am sharp."

" I will, Mistress." Ian responded and bowed.

Freya immediately got to her feet and went to the adjacent room, where she saw a large glass. It is a double-paned glass, and although those on the outside might assume it to be a regular pane, the translucent side allows one to observe activity on the ground floor below. The finest area to covertly observe people.

"Any troubles when I am not around?" Freya asked face the double glass and observing the people below.

"None but, the Queen has something planned. We are still looking for information about the matter."

"Tell me as soon as you get any update. I will leave for now. Let's meet tomorrow. Prepare herbal bath for Jacob." Ian thanked the Mistress as she leaved her mask and started to exit the premises.
