Badly

"I just don't know how this could happen; how did Azazel get in here without triggering the alarm?" asked Stella in total anger and confusion.

"We don't know Aunt, but he was just here" said Annie as she sighed, she felt even worse that even still with how powerful she was now, she could not even stop Azazel, heck, at that moment, she didn't even know which spell to cast to stop him when she saw him.

"This is worrying, if he got in so easily like that, then we are definitely not safe here" said Stella as she sighed.

"Maddie, how do you feel?" asked Stella as she looked at Maddie.

"I'm fine Aunt, glad I'm not dead, you guys came just in time, because Azazel seemed to change his mind" said Maddie.

"The question on my mind is how he got here in the first place??" asked Matt as they all looked at him and Curtis walked to Maddie as he took her right hand and looked at her wrist.

"Why is there a seal here?" asked Curtis with furrowed eyebrows.

"That's mine, I casted it on Maddie when she was upset because I didn't want her getting hurt" said Ollie as everyone looked at him as Maddie looked at her hand, she could not see anything there at all.

"Firstly blondie, nothing gives you the right to cast an invisible seal on me, have you never heard of privacy?" asked Maddie as she looked at Ollie in annoyance.

"And secondly, come and remove this stupid seal on my wrist" said Maddie as Ollie apologized and undid the seal as Stella heard some talking as Curtis looked at Maddie from head to toe as she raised an eyebrow at him.

"Azazel used a blood link to find you" said Curtis as he could see a little unnoticed cut on her face.

"Of course, that's why the alarms weren't triggered" said Ollie in realization.

"Explanation please" said Maddie in confusion as Annie and Matt both agreed with her, they were confused.

"A blood link is a safety measure spell that is casted on a member of a family, it allows for you to be found when in danger, or for your parents to know where exactly you are, it kind of binds your souls" said Ollie.

"I have one here" said Ollie as he rolled up his sleeve to show a red dot on his arm.

"Actually I have many, which are not visible, but this one is since I just got it" said Ollie.

"So what does the blood link do exactly?" asked Matt.

"Well if I'm in danger it alerts my parents, It can also serve as a tracking link as well" said Ollie.

"Can you get rid of it?" asked Annie.

"Well yes, you can break the link, but It's sometimes painful, you need to remove it with a blade" said Ollie.

"Well then sign me up and remove whatever this stupid blood link thing is" said Maddie.

"Wait first Maddie, you need to wait for a while before attempting to remove it" said Curtis as Maddie scoffed.

"Excuse me everyone, the guards are calling me, Curtis, come with me" said Stella as Curtis nodded and followed after her.

"Oh my neck hurts so bad" said Maddie as she groaned and rubbed her neck.

"Doesn't that man clip his nails or what?" asked Maddie with a scoff.

"It still hurts?" asked Matt.

"Badly" said Maddie.

"But I used a healing spell, it shouldn't hurt" said Matt in worry as both he and Annie were worried.

"Wait" said Ollie as suddenly Maddie's neck started to bleed as Ollie touched her neck and she winced in pain.

"Why is her neck bleeding all of a sudden?" asked Annie in worry.

"She's been poisoned that's what" said Ollie in worry.

"Poisoned" said Maddie in disbelief.

"Of course he poisoned me, he still wants to kill me" said Maddie with a scoff as her neck started to itch and she started to scratch violently which made her neck turn red.

"Stop scratching Maddie, you are making It worse" said Annie.

"I know, but I can't it's so itchy" said Maddie as she scratched even more.

"What do we do? I don't know which spell to cast on something like this" said Matt.

"There is no spell that we can use, we need to cleanse you, which I already did, but the itching won't stop" said Ollie as he walked to the cupboard.

"So what do we do?" asked Annie as Maddie was itching even more, she could not even find any relief as she felt even worse.

"Wait a minute Maddie, stop itching" said Ollie as he brought out some bandages as he whispered something under his breath as the bandages became wet and he walked to Maddie.

"What are you doing blondie?" asked Maddie as she eyed Ollie.

"Relax Maddie, this will make you feel better" said Ollie.

"No way I am going to let you touch me, let Annie or Matt do it" said Maddie as she itched.

"Let him help you Maddie" said Matt.

"Yes Maddie, let him help you, we don't know what to do" said Annie.

"Oh no way, this blondie help me, no way" said Maddie as she refused and Annie sighed as she moved her hands which caused Maddie to remove her hands from her itchy neck as she couldn't move.

"Annie, you traitor" said Maddie as she could not move at all and she looked at Annie.

"You will thank me when you feel better Maddie, Ollie go on" said Annie as she looked at Ollie who nodded and carefully placed the cool bandages on Maddie's neck as Maddie instantly felt relieved, but she wouldn't tell him that.

"There, you need to keep these bandages on for three days" said Ollie as Annie released Maddie.

"See you feel better now" said Annie as Maddie just scoffed and she stood up.

"Where are you going?" asked Annie, Ollie and Matt in a chorus as they all looked at Maddie.

"To the toilet, gosh, can I not go there alone now or what?" asked Maddie.

"I will go with you, come on" said Annie as she followed Maddie who just sighed and shook her head as Ollie and Matt looked at each other.

"We need to make sure to protect Maddie, she's the one actually in danger now" said Ollie as Matt nodded he knew that all too well.

"There, that's better" said Clove to herself in a smile as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, she felt so refreshed after a shower.

"Oh no… my changing spell wore off" said Clove to herself as she looked at her hair that was no longer black, but blonde.

"Oh well it's not a big deal, I will change it later, everyone should be asleep by now anyway" said Clove as she wrapped her wet hair in a towel and smiled.

Azazel was walking through the dark halls, his mind replaying Maddie's words over and over again.

He kept on hearing Maddie's words about her mother, what she said about she being the only woman who truly loved him.

Azazel scoffed if she was that important, then how come he could not remember her, after all that daughter of his had a big mouth, she could have just said that to get on his nerves which she liked doing.

Azazel shrugged off his thoughts as he walked out of the dark hall, he opened the door and walked outside as he needed to revaluate all his plans.

For one, he wanted his daughter to join him, she was the only one who could match up with his ambitions, she had his determination for sure.

Clove was walking through the quiet, empty streets of the camp as she was busy in her thoughts that she did not hear the footsteps of someone else as she turned to the corner and bumped right into the person that she least expected to see.

"Are you blind or what?" asked Azazel in a cold tone as Clove looked at him and cursed her internally as she moved back quickly in horror.

"I apologize my lord I… I… I…I... did not see you there" said Clove as she began to stutter as she back away not realizing that there was a rock behind her as she slipped on it and fell down as the towel on her hair unwrapped but to her surprise Azazel stopped her from falling as he pulled her closer to him.

"Thank… thank you??" asked Clove in confusion as Azazel stared at her intently, there was something about her eyes, her bright blue eyes.

Clove could hear her heart beating out of her chest violently as she did not like the way Azazel was looking at her as she closed her eyes, she did not know what was going on, she was so scared, had Azazel finally found her out?
