Lou hurriedly ran outside and looked around, he did not notice that it's raining hard but he still stood while using his nose to trace the two of them.

He tries to use his ability 'Bestial Instinct' but even his instinct is pretty useless tracking someone in this kind of weather.

The scent of mother and daughter duo is already washed by the rain while the smell in the air is already blown by the wind.

Touka walks outside while carrying an umbrella, she covers Lou and curiously asks," What are you doing? Are you not aware that you will catch a cold outside?"

"Its danger,"

"What?"

"Danger is near, I can feel it but can't track where it is," Lou said while constantly looking around.

"And what kind of danger is that?" Touka asks.

"Hush"

In the distance, Lou heard people talking, they were talking about something pretty interesting.

"Oh, man that's my first time seeing an Intellectual Ghoul," A man said.

"They appear the same as us, but why are those men trying to hunt them down? Do they know that it's illegal to take an Intellectual being?"

"Well, they appear to look fierce, and they also have Police License at them so helping those mother and daughter will only give us trouble,"

"Yeah right!"

Lou looks on the way where those men walk, he hurries sprint to check if they are in that way, he takes the mask and wears it in case of an emergency.

Not far away at him, Lou can see a group of men and a single woman fighting in the middle of the street, the street is already deserted so they can fight openly.

Lou can also see Hinami being protected by her mother from getting injured, but it's pretty useless.

Ryouko seems like a pretty newbie in fighting because she can only use her Kagune to defend and to push the enemy.

Her whole body is already full of cuts while blood constantly flows from her.

"You are pretty useless for an Intellectual Ghoul," A middle-aged man with sunken cheeks said.

"And she can't even use her Kagune very well either….. Are you perhaps those Intelectual Ghoul called scavengers?"

"What scavenger?" A handsome young man asked.

"Those are an Intellectual Ghoul who pretty useless fighting, they usually hide their presence and only eat something that the other ghoul gave them or they usually eat someone who already die in a natural way like suicide,"

"Just like a beggar, they eat something that others left for them or something they pick on the roadside,"

Kureo Mado was a First Class Ghoul Hunter and Koutarou Amon's former partner and mentor. He was a quinque fanatic.

Koutarou Amon is a former First Class Ghoul Investigator.

Kuereo take a suitcase and said to the people who pinning down Ryouko," You can stop now, she can never escape from here, after all, her daughter is also here,"

"Look carefully Amon-kun, I will show you how a Ghoul Hunter does their work," Kuereo takes an odd looking dagger from the suitcase.

"..Ahhh….. hhh w-what are you going to do?" Ryouko weakly asks.

"Nothing much, i will just going to dissect you here in this alley... alive,"

"You see, it's best to see that kind of face when I'm starting to do my work, anguish, despair, hatred! Such a great expression," Kuereo happily smiles as if a child gets his favorite toy.

"And the most fun thing is, you will die in front of your daughter~ this is going to be fun~,"

Amon and the other two investigators look weird at Kuereo, even though they hunt a Ghoul, they never show mercy at them because showing mercy only makes them hard to kill them.

But this man is weird, he is happy torturing a Ghoul like an animal, it's fine if they look different but Intellectual Ghoul looks the same as them so it's hard to watch seeing someone torture in the same race.

"Because I'm in a good mood today, I will show you a little bit of mercy, shall we listen to your last words?"

Ryouko who sitting in the ground look at Hinami and gentle smile," Hinami-chan li-"

"Whoops~ times up," Kuereo swung his dagger to behead her but someone stood in the middle of them.

They look and see a man wearing a jade-like mask using his finger to block Kuereo's dagger easily.

"Who are you?" Kuereo gloomy said the thing he hates the most is when he is doing something fun and someone intervenes in the middle of it.

Well, we all know that this Lou just from the mask.

"I'm just a passerby, and seeing your face makes me feel sick," Lou said.

"Really? Do you know what is going to happen if we intervene with our group?" Kuereo asked.

"I don't know, but I'm pretty sure, all of you will leave your arms here because you annoy me," Lou for the first time felt anger inside of his heart. He wants to butcher all of them but doing that only makes him like them so it's fine if they leave their arms so that they can stop hunting Intellectual Ghoul.
