Chapter 54: Why Would I Worry About The Monochrome Empress? 

"Tell me!" She grabs the guard by the collar of his armor as she yells. "Where is she?! What have you done with her?!"

Her hands slide down the guard's armor as she breaks down into tears. On the ground, her knees touch and her feet point in opposite directions as she weeps in agony.

"Witsel you s-should--" I take a weak step forward and before I can say anything meaningful, I feel my line of sight dropping. "Ugh."

"Alright. That's it!" Witsel catches me mid fall. "Off to bed you go. You need more rest."

Looking up from his arms, I can see the genuine worry in his eyes for me. A part of me feels touched but I suppress it and hide it away without a second thought.

"I will get it." I say plainly but weakly. "Just make sure a search is done for her sister. Use my status if necessary."

"Fine. Fine." He nods hastily. "Just close your eyes and I'll take you back to your bed."
