Chapter 47 : Return 3

As Nexus was engaged in combat with the 3-star demonic beasts, a massive battle going on a few kilometers away on the previous battlefield.

Huge and small corpses were strewn everywhere, broken, internal organs and other body parts of demonic beasts were everywhere, pools of blood continuously flowed like streams.

The sight of bloody and disgusting to behold, faint red mist pervaded the air, fierce killing intent as be felt in the atmosphere, team of black armored people were engaged in a fierce battle with hords of demonic beasts, with blood and gore flying everywhere.

This group of black armored people is naturally Lexx, Tyler, and the Black Armored Guards. It has been over twenty minutes since Nexus successfully led all seven 3-star demonic beasts away from the battlefield.

They have managed to slaughter

hundreds of the horde of demonic beasts, although none of them emerged unscathed. Their faces are pale, their bodies covered in wound and blood from both the demonic beasts and their own injuries sustained in battle.

A dark shadow moved swiftly among the remaining horde of demonic beasts, effortlessly taking them down with a single slash of his dagger. Blood spurted from their necks and vital parts as they fell.

Lexx's face was deathly pale, a large gaping wound on the left side of his chest constantly oozing blood from a previous battle with two Star demonic beasts. His expression was filled with worry and nervousness as he surveyed the situation.

' We must quickly deal with the demonic beasts and help His Majesty ' Lexx thought to himself, scanning the area for a solution.

"Everyone, we must hasten our efforts and help His Majesty!" Lexx shouted to the Black Armored Guards, urgency in his voice.

The Black Armored Guards quickly responded and increase the speed at which they kill the demonic beasts, painful roars and grunts rang out as the Black Armored Guards massacred the demonic beasts, the surrounding ten kilometers was filled with blood and gore, the killing intent in the air was extremely thick.

Ten minutes later all the remaining demonic beasts were slaughtered without resting they started extracting the blood essence of the demonic beasts and also took all the valuable parts of th demonic beasts.

Although they were dead tired and exhausted but they have to hurry up and help their King.

Another twenty minutes passed by as the blood essence and valuable parts of the demonic beasts were collected.

Looking around Lexx waved his hand and ordered with a pale face, " Alright we are done here let's hurry and go help His Majesty" .

With that all them swiftly departed from the gory battlefield and went in the direction Nexus previous lured the seven demonic beasts to. Utility their remaining Spirit Energy, they all rushed forward with astonishing speed.

As they charged ahead,the path ahead was a sight to behold huge trees were uprooted,some were burned to crips by flames, the earth cracked and split open extending in all directions, as they continue to move, the devastation around the surrounding made their heart almost jumped out of their chest.

The surrounding terrain lay in ruins, totally unrecognizable.

Ten minutes later, they emerged into an open space. Gasps of astonishment escaped from each of them as they stood frozen in place, their faces displaying a mixture of shock and disbelief. The devastation they had witnessed moments before paled in comparison to the scene now before them.

The surrounding area, stretching for hundreds of kilometers, lay in ruins. Deep craters, some as wide as a hundred meters and seemingly bottomless, dotted the landscape. Massive, tentacle-like cracks extended in all directions, a stark reminder of the catastrophic event that had taken place.

Huge corpses of the seven 3 Star demonic beasts can seen lying lifeless on the ground, blood continuously flowed out of their corpses, some of them have their head cut off, others were split in two all in all the death of the seven 3 Star demonic beasts was unsightly.

Especially a huge sanke which was lying a few meters away from them. It body was unrecognizable, it was like a pile of mangled flesh,the sight was truly disgusting. Huge wounds can been seen all over on its body, it's tail was cut off and was still twitching on the ground.

Lexx quickly snapped out of his shock state and looked around with nervousness. " Your Majesty! Your Majesty!" Lexx shouted in a loud hoarse voice.

" Stop shouting, I'm here " A faint and tired voice echoed behind the mangled snake body.

Lexx expression changed drastically, as he immediately dashed forward, going around the huge corpse, he saw Nexus leaning against the body of the snake with a pale face and battered body blood tickled down the corner of his mouth.

Your Majesty!" Lexx faintly cried out, his already face turned incredibly pale.

" Ok stop standing there and help me up " Nexus said weakly.

Lexx immediately helpes him stood," Your Majesty are you alright " He asked in a worried tone.

Looking at Lexx nervous face, Nexus felt warm in his heart and smiled weakly, " I'm good just exhausted".

" Start dealing with the corpses, we need to get out of here immediately" Nexus looked at everyone and ordered.

" Yes Your Majesty" the Black Armored Guards quickly responded and swiftly started dealing with the corpses.

" Tyler take out the demonic cores " Nexus turned to Tyler and instructed.Tyler bowed to Nexus to acknowledge the command.

A few minutes later all the matter at hand were dealt with, " Your Majesty everything is completed" Tyler reported and gave the seven demonic cores to Nexus.

" Ok let's hurry up and get out of here " Nexus nodded, stored the demonic cores, blood essence and the bodies of the seven 3 Star demonic beasts.

Just then a heavy and intense pressure swept across the area. The surrounding space turned sluggish for a moment.

Roarrrrrrrrrrr

A deep and resounding roar reverberated the surrounding thousand kilometers, trees were immediately uprooted and send flying, the ground shook violently a huge mountain suddenly cracked and crumbled into small pieces.

Nexus face changed drastically, he broke out in cold sweat, his entire being was ringing in alarm intense danger descended upon them. The Black Armored Guards spurted blood and clenched their chest as they couldn't breath with the heavy pressure descending on them.

" Everyone get out of here hurry up" Nexus shouted with a pale face. Without any hesitation all of them pushed their speed to the limit and rushed towards the entrance of the Emerald Mountain Range.

As they sped up, Nexus can feel the heavy pressure or whatever creature following them, " Hurry up pushed your speed to the limit" Nexus shouted with a nervous face.

A few moments later they rushed out of the outer area of the Emerald Mountain Range. Fortunately their horses was still there, with reflexes they they rode their horses and rushed towards the distance.

Nexus turned his head and looked deep into the Emerald Mountain Range, he can faintly seen a huge and humongous shadow slowing retreating into the mountain range.
