New Bond: Family By Blood

You split your Chi of Decidit into half. Ever so nonchalantly, it feels like a reward after overcoming the tribulation. Dopamine gives you the euphoric feeling for getting better than before. Positivity is your best weapon!

"You're scary back then, what is inside your mana sea anyway?" you say, playfully reminding the confused Lues. It seems like her cosmic horror side is too much for her to handle. Thankfully, Goyang is there attached to her head to calm her down.

"Yeah, takes a while to reboot my own consciousness." She covers her face that was already half covered by her bangs, then opening them to reveal her usual upbeat grin—a 180 degree change in an instant. "HURRAH! I'm back! Ehem, seems like the wavelength of your soul has affected my existence."

With just a short sentence, your dual brains with dual conscious minds-- that makes four thinking processing power in total—are able to grasp the meaning of your partner's words. "So your original personality was overwhelmed by my resonance, this is only one of the times where you show your true color?"

"Indeed, it looks like the forced resonance triggered my savagery." She strokes her bangs upward, opening only one of her eyes. You pause your circuit assimilation to perceive the dust of the universe within her right eye. "And it broke one of the seals that the former Long Leggy put back then."

You then take one of the 'Blood Sign: Plague Of Massacre' ready-to-use circuit schematics that was mass produced in your circuit factory. You conjure numerous soul-seeking spears of never ending massacre to deal with the stampeding Calamities from above and just to make sure that you can have a proper conversation in the middle of the war.

"Is that your athenaeum!?"

"Correct." The curtain of her bang is set free once again, hanging to capture the essence of a hentai protagonist. "I still have 5 seals left unbroken, let's break them all!"

"Oy oy! What benefits does it give to me!?" you say, suspicious of the fact that you don't know she had more than one mana sea.

She gestures with both of her hands as if she cradles something invisible on each palm. "I can't kill you and you can't kill me, might as well increase our survivability together."

You notice one sprinting titan has slipped your Blood Sign: Plague Of Massacre as it shrugs off most of the lazer from the arcane tower. Annoyed, you deal with it personally by shaping half of your artifact into a spear. Casually shred the titan into pieces from afar before retracting the Chi of Decidit to your side again. "Alright then, we're supposed to be sisters. So I think I can trust you well enough considering that we're similar in a sense."

You let out a nonchalant smirk.

"So you did enjoy the roleplay."

"Shut up!"

"Well, guess having a soulbound sibling would be a great experience. Might as well become the real thing." Lues constructs an insignia made out of her crimson aura. An insignia shaped like a sun sheltered by a root-like canopy. She then bite her own tongue and uses the overflowing blood to fuel the insignia halfway. "At first, we're bonded by soul, it's the time for us to be bonded by blood. Now, fill up this insignia to finish the pact."

You take off the glove from your right hand and then cut a wound on the centrepiece of your thumb with your sharp teeth. Using the virus vessel, you fill the insignia with your blood.

Lues chants, "May we be untouchable while able to touch each other, not the same kin, but as one small family."

The insignia condenses and launches itself into the sky. The sound of a firework can be heard with the crest enlarging for many to view.

"T-that is a little bit too much, no?" you say, having a mixed feeling.

"Fufufu, there is nothing better than to celebrate our new bond with a firework!"

The embodiment of cosmic horror is gleefully enjoying her own theatrical explosion so enthusiastically, what a world. At least a smile is also etched onto your face.

Multitasking the birth of the new relationship and the progress of the battlefield, you check the results of your Plague Of Massacre. It killed only 79 Calamities, although it gave them a good fight, suppressing them for some time. The returning part also brought you 421% more blood for your Chi of Decidit than the original projectile. Looks like you need to invent a stronger 'Blood Sign' techniques.

Still grinning like an idiot, Lues caresses her own chin. "You have enough mana to clone yourself using your artifact, you know?"

"A clone… I see!"

A remarkable invention! Truly, a revolutionary ascension! After the bell is rung with the flowing inspiration, you just can't help but immediately construct a behemoth of ideal imagination.

But replicating yourself literally seems to be impossible, even with only the way of thinking processing. Taking what Lues said and interpreting it, she must have meant a physical vessel of a controllable or automated imitation of me.

'Having to control multiple bodies might be too stressful, especially more than one… Then how about an AI like those of the workling?'

The virus vessels are only counted as automatons, not an AI. Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes. Some specific applications of AI include expert systems, natural language processing, speech recognition and machine vision.

You want to build those.

Using two of the two thinking processors, you code a circuit with Lueling and Chroling as the reference. Until the prototype is made.

Even using two brains with dual consciousness tasking ability still fry your brain, both of them. The Serene Guardian inside your mana sea has its pupils up into the ceiling with drools falling down.

'Experimental Artificial Intelligent Foundation' knowledge acquired.

It's rough, you don't even know if it can be categorized as an AI. Because unlike the workling you based off of, your version of AI is just as premature as it can get, then again, you won't really use them much other than easing your combat.

Separating a quarter of your Chi of Decidit, you input the dense circuit formation which literally contains the aggression system from the virus vessel, the complex decision making, and a special memory storage to save the AI generation into a report database chip that will be sent to your mana for you and the workling to learn about their progress.

And just like that, the quarter of your artifact has become the embodiment yourself, although without clothing which is unnecessary considering that there is no dangerous part to be shown and you're in the post apocalyptic civilization for god sake, those Calamities will definitely not going to ogle at your red naked version, right?
