Chapter One
"Good! Good! This is pretty good! You'll capture a lot of young females with this"
Chief editor Song clapped happily as he read the draft of the second volume of "Living Cinderella in Ancient Time" a story about a young man who transmigrated into the ancient times as the bastard son of the royal family of a small country. He was treated worst than a servant and in a fit of survival ran away to avoid the internal affairs of the palace just to accidentally stumbled upon the Crown Prince of the neighboring empire who then took fancy of him.
Xue Ya, with the pen name 'Hira' was the author of the novel. He is an Apprentice Fashion Designer at a small boutique and also a part time author.
He started writing when he was in college, at first he was just writing for fun but unexpectedly his work was noticed by lots of readers and finally a book publishing company offered to print his book, now it's been five years since his first book was published and he has made quite a name for himself in the literature industry. Right now he just finished writing the second volume of his third novel and passed it to his editor in charge.
"Then brother Song I'll leave it all to you" after discussing some few things Xue Ya decided to finally leave. He greeted the few people he knew along the way and proceeded to go downstairs
When Xue Ya reached the ground floor, there were quite a few numbers of staff worker crowding on a particular place and gossiping with each other.
Outside the building a Black Merc*des B*nz was parked. There were four Men In Black, then a handsome man with glasses walked out of the driver sit and opened the rear car door.
"Ahhhhhh so handsome!"
"Hey!Hey! Who's that?"
"I heard it's an investor of the company"
Xue Ya heard the ladies at the front desk speaking among themselves. Xue Ya's phone vibrated, signaling for a call. It was his mom.
"Sweetheart, when will you come visit us?! My Birthday is coming soon don't forget to visit"
"Yes, yes! How could I forget about your birthday, don't worry I'll definitely buy you a special gift, you wait for me"
Due to the crowd of young women blocking the door Xue Ya couldn't walk through until the So-called Big Shot went inside the elevator for the VIP's and everyone finally went back to what they were supposed to do.
Xue Ya talked to his mother for a few more minutes before they said goodbye. He walked out of the building and went home.
Xue Ya took a quick bath as soon as he got to his apartment, he then sat on his desk and opened his phone to update his Weibo.
" Hira: Do you all want to eat some juicy dog food? <Photo attached> "
Xue Ya posted his own sketch of the book characters. Almost a few minutes later his post was flooded with comments.
"LickLickLick: Wahhhh!!! Finally! Finally! Finally! Yes Yes Yes"
"DogFoodOfTheBestQuality: Uwahhhh!!! I'm so excited!!! Finally a first class dog food is about to be served again!!! I want to read it now! I'll buy two copies of the book as long as you give it to me now"
"Mimi: I'll buy 5 as long as they publish it right now! I've been waiting for 5 months for the second volume I can't wait anymore"
"NeedMoreTea: Hey!Hey!Hey! Don't tell me I'm the only one appreciating Our precious Author's hands!!! Look at those long and slender fingers!!!Lick! Lick! Lick! I need to lick it!"
"Mimi: Upstairs +1"
"RottenMaiden: +2"
Xue Ya scrolled through a few more comments and gave a like reaction to some of the fans before he turned his phone off. He was getting ready to sleep when suddenly his phone vibrated, it was a call from an old classmate back in college.
"Hey hey! Xue Ya, are you there?" The person on the other side was a female classmate called Shanxiao, they were quite close in college considering they were both part of the student committee
"Yes it's me! What do you need Shan-jie?"
"You see, We'll be having a little get together with everyone in our year! I was wondering if you wanted to come?"
Xue Ya thought about it for a few seconds before responding.
"Mhmm! I think I can squeeze some time out, please send me the time and location so I can clear my schedule"
They talked for a few more minutes before hanging up. Xue Ya heave a sigh of relief. College. That was the time where Xue Ya enjoyed the most. He made a lot of friends back then, and he was actually quite popular among his peers.
It was all fun and games... except for one.
"Will he be there too?"

Meanwhile..
A few hours earlier
A handsome man walked inside of the elevator and ignored the noisy chattering of the employees, his assistant and two bodyguard followed him inside and then they waited for the door to close.
Outside the elevator near the front desk he caught a glimpse of a young man talking to the phone. Almost immediately his eyes went wide, but before could do anything the door already closed.
"President Yu is there a problem?" Asked his Assistant.
Yu Huang Jun stood dazed for a second before he went back to his original posture.
"... it's nothing! Let's proceed with the schedule"

Hello I am the author of this Novel. You can call me Sasssan. I hope you all support me until the end of this novel. This is actually my first book, I hope it wasn't that bad. My English is not that great but I'll persevere to write it well.
And this novel is all part of my imagination, I don't know if there are similar novel out there since i haven't read much and am just writing for fun, if there is please inform me so i could check it out and change some things.
