"How do you know my name?" Meiyin paused in her tracks and made a mental note to charge him for her emotional breakdown.
"I know everything about you " He waved at the door as another young man walked in with a brown file in his hands and handed it over to me.
At first, Meiyin refused to collect it but later took it. She opened the file and saw all her information on the paper.
She was quite shocked at why that man had all her personal information with him.
Did he want to use her for something? Or just enjoyed being a slime?
"You have been stalking me! I will make sure you pay for damages ." Meiyin arrogantly said
If this man is as he looks, then she would be in big trouble.
"Damages? I can rape the mayor's daughter and still get away with it " He chuckled and Meiyin coughed.
The truth was that no matter the offense he commits, he can get away with it. In his life, nothing could hold him from doing what he liked.
Therefore the so-called laws of the country could not touch him.
"You!" She pointed at him as he stood up and walked slowly to where she stood.
The height difference between both of them was magnificent. Meiyin originally thought she had long legs but before the Big Boss, she looked like an ant.
"Dear, if you want to try it then I won't stop you "
He reached for her chin and raised it to his eye level. He guided his hands to her waist and pushed it up making her tiptoe.
"Talking about damages, you should be the one to pay, or are you going to deny your duties?"
Meiyin's eyebrows raised in confusion as she eyed him. The words he spoke sounded like gibberish to her ears.
"What duties?" She asked him while trying to meet up with his height.
"Did you forget so fast, honey?" He seductively smiles and whispers in her ears.
Meiyin's ears became active and turned red. She reddened thinking of yesterday's evening.
"I can not think of anything that happened between us. Do you mind reminding me of it?"
He gave a soft laugh and used his fingers to trace her cheeks until he reaches for her lips.
"What if I show you?" He pinched the side of her lips and then kissed her forehead.
Gao Jimi gasped at the sudden change in the boss's attitude. He knew that boss had never in his life even kissed or pecked a girl yet he did it willing to Ms. Zhang.
What was so special about this girl that made the Big Boss he knew change to an entirely different person?
"What are you doing?!" She slapped his fingers off her face and stepped backward away from him.
Her heartbeats were high and would not be a surprise if they could hear them.
Her mind was in utmost turmoil and uproar. Every touch of this mysterious man made her body tingle.
"Anyway, Jimi let her have the other file " His overbearing temperament resurfaced back and he sat down on the chair.
Jimi handed over the contract to her and she takes a look at it and her mouth broadened.
A marriage Contract?
A MARRIAGE CONTRACT.
Her mood deepened as she scrolls through the contract details and ends at the signature of the parties.
She lifted her face to fully analyze the man who was seated on the chair like his throne.
He seemed like he was not going to take a NO for an answer to the contract. The room's silence became so unbearable as the man gazed at her.
"Errrm...... I......"
"Do you accept or not?" Rui mumbled coldly. His gaze was firm on the little girl.
"What do I benefit if I marry you?"
Meiyin knew it was meaningless to ask such a question knowing that if the man cared less about the law then he should be among the royals or the elites in the country.
In Beijing, The only people who had authority and power over the land were either the royal family or the really rich elite ones.
And the way he dressed and accent showed he was no commoner or an average salary earner.
"A lot of things, you name it " He threw the question back at her.
Meiyin did all calculations in her brain in a millisecond and responded.
"How can I get married to a man who I do not know? I decline such contract "
"You do not need to know me and besides, I can help you in dealing with your pest family. " He twirls his hands over the chess pieces on the board.
"If you marry me, i can help you deal with your slutty family on one condition!".
"YOU GIVE BIRTH TO A MALE CHILD WITHIN NINE MONTHS OF THE CONTRACT!"
"What?!"
Meiyin said out loud. She threw the contract at him and turned her back.
"If you leave, you will regret it. "
Rui said once more while handing the contract back to Jimi.
His words did not make a ring in her head. A male child? Within nine months?
Was she some kind of baby machine? Most of the dramas she watched involved the female lead and male lead entering into a contract marriage to avoid his parents' disturbance but why is hers different?
"What if I do not give birth to a male child within that month's range?"
She asked once more. Signing a contract marriage was common nowadays but not so simple.
