Chapter 4.1

The monster was intimidating.

Ji Hye got nervous as it was approaching them, or rather all of them were nervous.

"How can we afford to run if you will be the one who's gonna be in trouble?." the woman strongly said

The man agreed to what his wife said by nodding his head.

"So you're saying we will fight that monster with an injured?" Ji Hye asked with a straight face

They fell silent. The couple looked at each other as if they got one conclusion. No choice but to follow what she said.

"Jae Yu, you go with them."

"How could I leave y–

Jae Yu couldn't finish his words as Ji Hye glared at him invoking he should do what is told.

As they turn their backs on her, the monster suddenly dashed toward them.

Ji Hye was alarmed by the action of the monster.

"Tch!" Ji Hye clicked her tongue

The monster's target was the one-armed man.

Jae Yu who noticed the monster shouted– 'What the...

"Duck!" he yelled to the people/couple in front of him.

They got surprised by the sudden shout and immediately looked back. The monster's sharp blade on its elbow was approximately 2 meters away from them. They just stood there as they watched it jump towards them.

But then a figure knocked the monster while it was in the air. It was Jae Yu. He knocked it with his shoulder. He did that only because he was a few meters away from them and can see how the monster can act. And also he is not the target.

They got amazed at what he did, even Ji hye who was about to do something but couldn't because the monster dashed real fast.

However, Jae Yu was nervous at this point doubting it may target him.

Wait, where's the kid?

"Where's Sara?" the woman asked Jae Yu

Sara was laying on the sidewalk. The couple rashly walked to her. 'How could he lay her here, well at least we're safe'

The lady carried Sara as the father can't.

The monster got thumped in a trash bin.

Ji hye run towards them as the monster slowly stood up.

It appears to be irritated. Well, it was about to have its meal but got disrupted by someone it doesn't know so it would basically get angry.

Then it pointed its finger at Jae Yu. It made him troubled.

"We need teamwork." Ji Hye said nervously

"That goes without saying." Jae Yu answered

'Now you say you need my help when you don't even give attention to what I said earlier.' he said to himself.

They had no choice but to team up. They are clearly at a disadvantage as they got no weapon at hand. Their opponent is taller, stronger, bulkier, and has a weapon. They have at least a 7% chance to win.

"We should run now." the man whispered to his wife

"T-that's not good coming from you." his wife doubted her husband.

"They clearly told us earlier to run away now, if we stay any longer we will just become an obstacle for them as they fight with that monster. Also isn't that what we were doing just now?" the man straightforwardly asked his wife.

"You have a point but... ah let's just go." the woman got no choice as her husband is injured and also her daughter is unconscious.

As the monster was approaching, suddenly something shone from the sky brightly like the sun coming down.
