Chapter 8: The Two Golden Eyes

One drop…. Two drops…. And so on

White, silky strings dripping with freshly shedded blood hung in the air. They were thinner than a simple sheet of plain paper and were barely able to be seen by the naked eye. Sharper like the tip of a needle, stronger than the jaw and pointer than the teeth of a Saltwater crocodile. It was nearly impossible to break or even come close to bending if not commanded by it's master's movements. To learn the Art of the Mojiretsu, requires high Celistix to be entered into the human body by either blood, inheritance, or to be naturally born with it inside and then train with the strings until your fingers and arms could no longer control them with how many cuts are all over them. To be able to master the Mojiretsu and combine it with the person's Celistix which rarely have occurred lately, is something to be hidden from greedy masters from all over the world. Anyone who desires with all their heart to be No.1 in both Spiritual Celistix, and the Arts across the world would set their target upon the few rare people who have gotten to master the Art of the Mojiretsu. Prince Osore was one of them.

Yoru had little to no power left in him to escape or to even raise his head and look at the short black haired male who was sitting in his throne while playing around with a loose string that was floating around the room.

"So kindly enlighten me on why such an unappealing maiden like you was in the forbidden Archive Chamber? Surely you don't have an accomplice that told you to do such an unforgivable thing, am I wrong?"

"Why… s-should I tell… a p-person like… you…?"

"Oh? I see that I have captured someone who has a sly tongue. But I'm not up for silly maiden games. If you don't want the strings that are already cutting slightly into your pale skin to deepen, I suggest you answer me. NOW."

The Prince pulled on the strings attached to his finger which brought out a low painful grunt from Yoru before releasing the added pressure and putting both the silky bloodstained strings and the brunette , who could barely keep his eyes open, back to the same position as before. The room they were in was only slightly lit with a lamp that stood tall in it's corner. But by the looks of the place and the countless amounts of cobwebs and dust, it doesn't look to be in the west or east hall of Palace Dragonsphire. It would serve as a disgrace to the whole residence if someone were to discover such a filthy, broken down room that looks to be infested by who knows what. So why would the Feared Prince who would never bother to go out of his way to explore beyond the grounds of Sakura Forest?

"Even in such a state, you still have the audacity to ignore me and let your brain wander off into imagination land? To think I would meet someone as undisciplined as a meer maiden."

"Heh… do I spike y-your interest Prince."

"Hm. More than I'd like to admit maiden. Now, I would like for you to tell me why you entered the forbidden Chamber. I see no point in frightening you since you seem rather brave and fearless."

"I'll take that as a c-complement. But I… unfortunately c-can't tell you…"

Prince Osore sighed heavily as he stood up from his seat and dusted off fallen dust that landed on his clothes. To Yoru, it was as if the silky black haired male was getting fed up of being denied knowledge of what he wanted after being given anything he ever desired. None was ever able to defy the Prince if asked for something, someone, or outside knowledge only they knew. And if there was anything that the Feared Prince loved, it was being knowledgeable and having his terror walk behind him like an army of soldiers that leave their marks everywhere they go so anyone and everyone takes account that they are walking the same path as the soldiers. After all, the son of Lady Kaiyō was never known for his patience and probably never will be.

"My patience with you is wearing thin. Remember, I'm the one who's got you tied right around my little finger maiden. Mind what you say will and can be turned and held against you."

"Heh… What is t-this? Have you taken me to the courtroom or s-something?"

"A thief and a jokester. What an interesting combination with a pretty little doll face like yours. Tell me, what clan did you come from to pick up such a trait?"

Yoru huffed a bit and raised his head so his bangs only covered the right side of his face while his visible eye stared deep into the Prince's who looked to be frozen in place. Letting out a light chuckle before tilting his head to the right, the brunette put on an emotionless expression while not diverting his eyes from Prince Osore's.

"I belong to no clan. My backstory is n-nothing interesting, Prince O-Osore."

"You say that, but it's most obvious that it is a lie. A person's heart tends to fasten or hurt the chest if caught in a lie. That also occurs when the person accidentally locks eyes with someone they're passionate about."

"...Why are you t-telling me this?"

"Haha! My strings can take the vibrations and sense the movements of the human body. Other than being mainly used as a weapon, the Art of Mojiretsu were also first used to sense human vibrations through things like trees, rivers, and animals. The first master used his strings to detect other identities by focusing his mind to feel the waves of body vibrations and movements and ended up being known as Master Jinkaisenjutsu. For short, Master Senjutsu has been recognized as one of the most powerful Art Masters who had dedicated half of his life to reaching his goal of feeling human movements and waves. No-"

"No one believed he c-could possible d-do such a preposterous thing, much less u-use the strings to kill a person. But he showed the w-whole martial art world wrong when he d-defeated the Ocean Beast, Saigai and the r-rouge Sect Leader Chikyū."

"So you know your stuff huh? Well, since you know that, now you understand where my Art has originated from. Now, don't mistake me for a ruthless and heartless person, sure I'm the Feared Prince, but I hold… nearly… no ill intentions. It's just so happens I've made it to the point where my respect and high authority comes from the terror I cast over Dragonsphire and it's people. "

(Not Finished. Sorry)
