"Mana manipulated through understanding, formulas, languages... and now poetry moves it?" Zhu said, his voice dripping with disbelief. "That's like saying I can juggle fireballs because I recite a limerick."

"I think I've figured it out," Jarvis interjected.

"What?" Zhu asked, his curiosity piqued despite his skepticism.

"Universal laws," Jarvis stated, which only seemed to confuse Zhu further.

"Remember what Faust said? Each universe is governed by two sets of laws. The Constant Laws, like gravity, which are common across universes. And then the Variable Laws, unique to each universe. Like on Earth, we had the Law of Observation, where reality forms through observation. Or in the World of Magic, where the Law of Mana dictates that knowledge and understanding shape magic," Jarvis elaborated.

Zhu's eyes widened. "You don't mean..."

"Exactly. In this universe, the Variable Law seems to be the Law of Verse. Here, it's not just words, but the rhythm, the poetry, that moves the world, moves the soul."

Zhu let out a low whistle. "So, you're telling me that in this universe, chanting some poetic lines can bend reality? That's... bizarrely artistic."

"I don't think it's necessarily poetry that moves the soul," Jarvis speculated. "There's something else at play here."

"Why do you say that?" Zhu asked, genuinely curious.

"When you recited those words, your soul reacted, but only slightly. And you've spoken plenty since we got here. Why didn't I detect anything then?" Jarvis pointed out.

"Maybe it's because I wasn't speaking the native tongue?" Zhu suggested.

"Could be. Try saying something now," Jarvis prompted.

"I don't know..." Zhu responded, feeling a bit foolish.

"And nothing happened to your soul. I think it's something else. Let's use the magic detector for my hypothesis," Jarvis said. Zhu, intrigued, grabbed the detector and headed outside.

Once outside, Zhu carefully wrote the entire cultivation technique on the ground. The magic detector flickered to life, sensing something unusual.

"Ah!" both Jarvis and Zhu exclaimed in unison.

"What does this mean?" Zhu asked, his mind racing with possibilities.

"I think it's not just poetry or words that move the soul. It's the will behind them. These words are mere poetry, but the detector shows soul force moving in response to the will in those words," Jarvis concluded.

Zhu paused, a lightbulb going off in his head. "In this world, cultivation is about understanding one's soul and body, creating a personal path. The path, when put into words, becomes a cultivation technique. Those who follow a technique are walking a path created by someone else. You're limited by the creator's understanding."

"I can see why Faust always praised you as an anomaly," Jarvis said. "Can you explain what made you jump to that conclusion?"

Zhu nodded thoughtfully. "Think about it, Jarvis. In our world, magic was about understanding the laws of nature, bending them to our will through knowledge and practice. Here, it's different. The cultivation techniques are like guidelines, but the real power comes from the individual's will and understanding."

He paced back and forth, his mind working rapidly. "When I recited that cultivation line earlier, it was just words to me, no real meaning or intent behind them. But when I wrote them down and saw the magic detector's response, it clicked. The words alone didn't do much, but the detector picked up on something more when the words were purposefully used."

Jarvis processed this. "So, you're saying the power isn't in the words themselves but in the intent and understanding behind them?"

"Exactly," Zhu confirmed. "Words are just a vessel. It's the understanding and will of the cultivator that truly moves the soul force. That's why nothing happened when I casually spoke in the native tongue earlier. There was no intent, no purpose behind my words."

"It makes sense," Jarvis admitted. "Your conclusion aligns with the anomaly that you are. You always had a knack for seeing beyond the obvious."

Zhu chuckled. "Guess all those years of bending the rules of magic paid off. In this world, it's not about following the set path; it's about understanding and forging your own."

"Looks like you've got a whole new field to play in," Jarvis said, a hint of excitement in his voice. "This world's cultivation is right up your alley."

"Of course!" Zhu exclaimed with a spark of enthusiasm in his voice.

"So, let me guess, you're planning to create your own cultivation technique?" Jarvis inquired, his tone laced with a mix of sarcasm and genuine interest.

"Absolutely. Back in the world of magic, I carved out my own class of magic. Here, I'll craft my own cultivation technique," Zhu declared confidently. He stepped outside, finding a spot on his lawn, and sat down in a cross-legged position, ready to begin his cultivation journey.

"What do you want me to do?" Jarvis asked, his digital voice echoing slightly in the open space.

"For now, just observe, record everything, and keep an eye out for any threats," Zhu instructed, his eyes still closed in concentration.

"Protect from what, exactly?" Jarvis inquired, a hint of curiosity in his tone.

"The girl, Xiao Ning'er, and any demon beasts that might wander too close," Zhu replied, his focus unwavering.

"Oh, so your wife and your exes," Jarvis quipped, a playful tone to his voice.

Zhu cracked one eye open, a smirk on his face. "Ha-ha, very funny. She's not my wife, and the beasts are hardly exes."

"Sure, sure," Jarvis teased. "Just a damsel in distress and some angry furries you used to know."

"Just keep your sensors active and let me know if anything or anyone approaches," Zhu said, returning to his cultivation.

"You got it, love guru," Jarvis responded, still chuckling. "I'll be your lookout for any romantic interludes or furry reunions."

Zhu shook his head, suppressing a laugh. "Focus, Jarvis. I need to concentrate here."

"Concentrating on your soul or on not admitting you might need my dating advice?" Jarvis continued, clearly enjoying himself.

"Just watch out for trouble," Zhu replied, trying to maintain a serious demeanor.

"Trouble, right. I'll alert you if any more potential wives or horny furries show up," Jarvis said, his voice filled with mirth.

Zhu couldn't help but let out a laugh. "You're impossible, Jarvis."

"And you love it," Jarvis retorted playfully. "Now go on, cultivate your heart out. I've got your back."

Zhu settled back into his meditative state, a small smile lingering on his face. With Jarvis watching over him, he felt a sense of security, allowing him to delve deeper into the mysteries of soul force and cultivation.
