Helena saw Ivy heading towards the table and the first she noticed was the saw the marks she couldn't help but ask.

"Ivy what are those marks on you neck." And for the first time since Melissa came back from wherever she came from she lifted her eyes up.

She looked so hurt, tears on her eyes felt like falling but she sprinkle them back. Did they do it inside the palace, inside there chamber? those were the questions? why did it hurt so much. But why was is it hurting like this? she was completely in love with him for it to hurt like this!

"Oh this, this is nothing she said rubbing her neck." she stated nervously eying Melissa, that exact same moment Demetrius came.

"I hope you didn't get hurt hear in the palace, those marks looks like you were really struggling." the queen pointed.

"Is nothing My queen." He stated looking at Demetrius who just sat and continued with eating like nothing happened.

Helena looked at him as she looks at Melissa who didn't even glance at him.

Not so long Melissa stood up and run upstairs, the tears she has been holding, finally trimmed down her beautiful face, as she run down the halls and finally in there Chamber. She quickly run to the changing room and sat there as she cries.

She was planning to ignore him cause she didn't want him to see her like that and figure out that she saw them and it was hurting, she was even planning to go to bed early before he gets there.

Meanwhile at the table after Melissa left Demetrius didn't feel like eating anymore, he excused himself and went to their chamber to look for her she was not staring at the window like always. His eyes searched for her and their she was walking out of their changing room. she didn't look at him and just walked out of the room.

The moment she saw him he was shocked what was he doing there? did he noticed something odd? she walked past him and went on the other side of the bed and climbed in the bed and slept.

"It was not sleep time yet!" Demetrius exclaimed inwardly.

At the dinning table, Melissa never uttered a word, Everyone concentrated on their own food.

In their chamber, the same thing happened Melissa went to the changing room changed into her night gown, she walked out and found him there, he stare down at her but she didn't say anything she just passed him, climbed the bed and slept.

Demetrius was left rooted in the place what was wrong with her? He went to the changing room and came back to bed, he climbed up and he couldn't sleep, he switched off the light.

He kept on turning until he gazed on Melissa.

Melissa who was fuming with anger. Suddenly stood up.

"Can you stop turning? can't you just sleep in one place?" She asked harshly.

Demetrius stood up and switched on the light and looked at her. She wanted to look at her on the face but she was hiding it.

This wasn't like her at all.

"Melissa are you okay?"

"Yes I am okay, I mean why wouldn't I be?" she answered then just slept.

Demetrius was shocked, what did he do to her? as far as he knows he didn't offend her.

Demetrius fell asleep thinking and thinking what he has did wrong. The next morning Melissa woke up with some maid in her room, checking beside her there was no sign of him.

"Where the hell is he?" she asked herself.

"Why do I care?" as long as she knows she was still furious with him for kissing Ivy, the image appeared in her head and she quickly shut it down, she didn't like it.

She went to the bathroom, when she came back she found him standing there elegantly with his arms crossed.

"Good morning my lady!" he greeted jovially as she approached her. He has been waiting for her to come out since he got there and found out that she was awake.

But surprisingly she just passed him as if he didn't even exit and went outside the chamber.

That is when he noticed that something was definitely wrong, but what? what did he do? as long as he remembers he didn't offend her in anyway. he would never do that.

He quickly followed her, but she was already in the table having breakfast, how did she do that? was she running? Sometimes he could never understood this woman. Why are they this complicated? Now they have really changed the pattern he thought he had saved him from sitting with this people to have breakfast.

Is when Helena joined them she was shocked to find them there, it has been long since she had breakfast with his brother, since he got married.

Then she remembered what occurred yesterday, from what she understands, Demetrius new nothing, It looks like Melissa saw them and Demetrius didn't know that.

He saw her brother training at 5am, he was stressed, he only fights like that when he is stressed. His brother never knew how to deal with ladies emotions, he didn't know and right now she bet she was struggling.

"Good morning brother." He greeted.

"Good morning."

"Good morning Melissa."

"Good morning."

Not long the queen, the king joined together with Prince Charles joined them in the table and of course they were shocked to find them there, they greeted as they take a seat.

After breakfast Melissa went to the library, she sat to read some books but she couldn't concentrate, her thoughts were filled with Demetrius.

That man that now he call his husband has been nice to her ever since he came here in the palace, he has been treating her nicely, she has never treated her badly he was always there for her and she kept pushing him away and yesterday when he finally found someone who could take care of his need she was furious, why? why was this happening? she stood up and went to the window.

After a short while, she heard the door cracked open. She looked who it was and it was Prince Charles. What was he doing here? her mind was too occupied to deal with anyone right now. He was furious and he was afraid that she would pour her anger in people who didn't anger her.

"What do you want?" She asked.

"Now that is rude, what is wrong?" he asked as if he cares, but deep down he was enjoying, they are splitting and he didn't have to do anything.

Yesterday he sense like something was off with Ivy and he asked her. First she didn't want to tell her but at last he managed to convince her to tell him, so Ivy ended up telling him everything.

"Why are you here alone?" He asked as he join her on the window.

"I just want to be alone." She said as she stared outside.

Meanwhile after breakfast Demetrius was getting desperate and desperate, he didn't know what to do, how to act with this stuff with this new feeling.

"Brother where are you going?"Melissa asked.

"I am going, I don't know where I am going, the truth is that I am desperate." He stated without noticing.

"What happened yesterday?" She asked.

"Nothing, why are you asking?"

"Yesterday when Melissa came back, she didn't seem like the Melissa I knew, she seemed so hurt." She stated looking at him,of course he didn't have any idea.

"You mean she,,,she came,,,she came to our cham...that mean she saw.. He was completely shocked, so that explains it, her action towards him, since yesterday.

"Thank you." he stated kissed her on the on the cheek then left good thing he knew where she headed.

Helena smiled then went to the garden, where Alex was waiting for her.

"I came just like I promised."

"Yes, I see." she stated then sat next to him and Alex put his hands up on the seat back. As he looked at her.

Helena truly loved this man, he wanted marry him as soon as possible a d she couldn't understand why he was taking so long to ask for her hand but she was ready to wait for him.

She lean and gave him a kiss but it didn't last for long and she pulled away, Alex looked at her as he caress her cheek.

He was truly in love with this woman, Since the day he meet her she has changed his life that is why he had mad a decision that will change their lives.

Meanwhile inside the library, they were still having a conversation when suddenly the door cracked open and it was none other than Demetrius, the moment he saw Prince Charles his eyes changed he didn't like that man close to his wife.

He didn't like it one bit, when Prince Charles saw him, he approached him and they glared at each other.

"Why were they looking at each other like that? they were brothers were they not?" she has never seen Demetrius eyes like that.

"Demetrius, the princess doesn't want to see you, she needs to be alone." Prince Charles stated glaring at him.

"Have a nice day." He told him then headed towards his wife but before he could reach further Prince Charles held him by his shoulder.

"Didn't you hear what I just said?"

"I heard but I just don't care, did she tell you to tell me? He asked but he didn't answer,,she is my wife and I need to talk to her." But before he could go again Prince Charles held him tightly.

Demetrius was furious he got big issues to deal with not small problem like this.

Before Prince Charles knew it she was already pressed on the wall with Demetrius pinning him with his elbow.

"You will either let me talk to my wife or we will have to break each others bones." He stated with gnashed teeth.

"There is no need to break each others bones, Prince Charles you can go now I will talk to him." She stated she needed to come in between if not this two look like they will kill each other.

After she stated Demetrius let go off him and Prince Charles straighten himself then left the Library.

"What do want to talk about?" She asked harshly, not caring at all.

Demetrius went to the window and look at her.

"Are you furious with me?" he asked.

"No, why would I be furious with you?" She stated avoiding his eyes.

Demetrius walked close to her and held her chin and made her looked at him, but she just looked down again, sh didn't want him to see how hurt she was.

"I know you saw what happened yesterday,, between me and Ivy and is not what you think."

"I really don't care about what happened between you two, I am really okay." She lied looking down, deep down she wanted him to explain to her what she saw, what was happening? what was going on?

"You're lying to me Melissa, your hurt by what you saw and I want to clear things up." He stated and Melissa wanted to leave but Demetrius held her by her hand.

"Melissa I really can't take it when you ignore me like that, that is why I am going to explain things to you weather you like it or not."

"Ivy and I were closed friends while growing up, we started dropping feelings for each other but it wasn't long before I found out that I was already spoken for, so we had to break up things we never did anything apart from kissing" He explained it to her while studying her expression.

And for the first time Melissa looked at him, she couldn't believe that his husband has kissed another woman not just any other woman, it was that beautiful woman Ivy.

"And yesterday saw her kissing you." She stated and turned away.

But Demetrius turned her and made sure that she was looking at him.
