She would tell them but tomorrow the queen was going to give her money so that she could leave this place, she will just put her mouth shut then pretend that she knows nothing.

Going inside she saw Rosa with them judging by her eyes she has been crying a lot, was she crying because of her friend? because she was not seeing her anywhere.

Helena approached her and first looked at her from head to toe, she was a little tall and she had a an innocent expression no one can't even tell if she was lying or not.

She has reddish hair that now plaited in a cornrow, then she recalled that she was the one who went to talk to her mother earlier.

"Did you see Enid anywhere after lunch?" Helena asked getting straight to the point.

"No." She answered with a slight bow, she didn't dare flinch. She remained erect in her spot.

"And did you talk to the queen today at all, in the morning after lunch or even now?" Helena asked

"No." was she going to get caught cause now she was getting a little scared and she wasn't about sure of her voice anymore.

She was definitely a liar, Helena saw her just after lunch, as she went to talk to her mother, why was she lying? Did her mother asked her to lie?

"Okay, you can leave now."

She bowed then left, Helena just figured out she was lying and she was sure she knows where Enid talk. Then a thought crossed her mind if they threatened her to talk will she talk? maybe tomorrow, she will tell the others and threaten her May be she must tell them something. She hates to this to other people but she didn't have a choice but to. besides she was not going to harm her she was only going to scare her.

"She is lying." Rosa stated after she left.

"Yes she is obviously lying." Helena seconded, but she is going to find out tomorrow why she is lying.

Maybe she is one of the people her mother is paying them to work for her or her brother Charles.

"So what do say that we do?" Ivy asked."

"For now let's just sleep, we will think about other things tomorrow." She stated.

That night they just decided to go to sleep, the next morning, like usual bathing before doing anything else, Rosa left first.

She was gloomy that today she was going to spend the night alone, without her roommate Enid and the way she is scared of dark, today she is not going to switch off the light.

Since she already eaten she just went to their chamber, hoping that tomorrow they found her best friend and her sister.

Since Enid's mother past she was taken by one of the maid, but again that maid passed and her adopted mother took her, so they grew up mostly like sisters, they kind of have a great bond.

Ivy went to her chamber and bathed same to Alex and Helena, they slept waiting for the next day.

The next morning after bathing, they went down stairs to have breakfast.

After breakfast Helena went to the kitchen to talk to Emily again, in the kitchen.

"Emily." She called but she didn't emerge from the group. Helena raised her head if she can see her since she was tall, but she didn't.

"May be she is still sleeping." One of them answered.

Sleeping at this time of hour, the royal's were already awake why was she still sleeping?

"Can you take me where she sleeps?" She asked.

"Yes." She stated.

She took her one buy one to her chamber where they sleeps, opening the door she was still sleeping. Was she sick that she was still sleeping, what if the queen finds out that she was still sleeping.

Helena found it strange that she was sleeping alone, almost everyone has a room mate, she was really weird.

The maid walked on to her side to wake her up, she called her several time she didn't respond, she shook her several times but didn't wake up, then a thought crossed her mind maybe she should remove the duvet from her.

She will feel cold then wake up, she did just that but what what she saw made her legs go numb, the blood was spread all over the bed.

Helena saw the horror on her face and moved closer to see what she saw, she couldn't believe her eyes, immediately tears started to flow, she placed her one hands on her chest and the other to her mouth.

As she moved back in denial, just what was this? didn't they just talk to this girl last night so what happened to her? who did this to her?

She couldn't control the tears, it seems like she was stabbed from the heart where she couldn't survive no matter what. I the killer weapon seems to be a dagger.

The maid just stood there frozen as tears flow, who did this to sweet Emily. Helena just walk from their to the others upstairs.

She walked to the room, where Ivy was wiping Demetrius face, Rosa just brought a warm water with a basin and Alex was sitting on the couch, probably wondering how life changed over a night.

When Alex saw her he quickly run to her, and held her by the shoulder, as she inquire what is wrong? what happened in that short period that she just left.

"What is wrong honey?" She enquired, but she didn't answer, she just hugged her as she sobbed.

What has happened that she was crying, she was starting to scare him. She asked again and this time she answered.

"She is dead." She stated still crying.

Now it was confusing, whose death got her so worked up like this, everyone stopped what they were doing paying attention to her, getting curious to know who died.

"Who is dead darling?" he asked breaking from the hug and staring at her in the eyes with her hands in her cheek.

"Emily...snif..snif..she sniffs...think they killed her." She added.

The basin that Rosa was holding fell down immediately making the water that was inside to splash all over the place.

What was she saying? How was she dead? What about Enid was she was also killed? oh no tears started to fell from her face from the thought of it.

She bend down picked the basin then excused herself to go bring a moper.

"What do you mean she is dead didn't we talk to the girl yesterday?" Ivy asked, she didn't know that this was going to be difficult like this.

"Exactly how can she just die like that?" Alex asked, he didn't know that his wedding the day he waited almost all his life was turning into a night mare, with a serial killer on the loop.

"Yes they stabbed her on her heart." She stated recalling.

"So that she wouldn't survive, but who would want to kill her?" Ivy asked.

"That is exactly what I am wondering, why would someone want to kill her? we are never going to find Melissa, Demetrius is never going to wake up or may be they will just kill him." She stated breaking, she couldn't take it anymore.

Alex wrapped his arms around her, what should they do to stop what was happening, may be they should just take the queen and her son to prison and they find Melissa by themselves and waiting for Demetrius to heal.

Helena broke from the hug and went to where his brother was sleeping. He looked like a dead person.

"Demetrius you have to wake up, Meli need you, if you don't wake up, they will kill her, so please if you can hear me can you just wake up already." She stated crying in his hands, close to her chin.

He was the only one who can help them now since the King seem like his hands were tied. Alex and Ivy watched her, and yes at this moment he was the only one who can help and stop all of this.

The King was told that there was a maid that was found dead in her chamber and they suspect that it was a murder, he told his soldiers to remove her corpse and luckily there was a friend of her who knew her village and also her parents so she offered to show them.

The King gathered all the savants, in the hall to ask them questions and everyone was there, including the queen, Ivy, Alex, Charles nd Helena.

"Did any of you hear anything tonight or did you see her acting strange?" He enquired but he knew that this wasn't going anywhere, one of his savants was killed on his palace.

One this he was confused about was who killed her? And why would someone kill her in the middle of the night? Was the queen able to do that was the only question disturbing him.

The savants murmured but they didn't reply. Honestly they didn't know, after a long day they go to bed tired having no time hear or listening movements of people.

"I will look to it, if this was a murder." the king stated after everybody left.

"Are you saying that she was killed maybe the maid killed herself because she didn't want to serve as a maid anymore." the queen snorted.

"How can you talk like that when somebody just died?" The king asked with a twitch face.

"Was that a enough reason for her to kill herself? because she was tired to serving as maid?" Helena asked with a deathly glare,the death of Emily was really hurting her if only she can find the person who killed.

"I don't know I was just saying." She stated.

"Then don't talk if you don't know anything, I am sure she was killed, she couldn't kill herself." Helena answered back, she didn't get why the death of her got her this worked up.

"Enough you can all leave now." The King said he didn't know how he was going to solve this, it was getting out of hand.

Later that day they took Emily to her village and Helena went with them, Alex offered to go with her but she refused.

When they arrive, Emily's mother couldn't believe what happened to her daughter, first when she saw the the people from the palace she was over the moon that her daughter came back.

She hasn't seen her for long, she was knitting a cloth when they arrived, so she quickly put the clothes aside and run to meet her daughter only to find out that she was dead no longer in this world.

She screamed at the top of her lungs,if anyone can wake up if someone screams then Emily could have definitely have, Helena watch Emily's mother cry and her husband trying to calm her down.

Her only daughter who promised to give them a better life was dead now, who was going to help them now? They were old they couldn't work, imagining their life without her was totally difficult.

The people who knew Emily came. Helena watched them, it was really sad. soon after people calm down she walked to the couple.

"Do you know what happened to her?" Her mother asked.

"No, but once we find out we will let you know." Helena told them.

"Thank you for bringing our daughter home." The old man thank.

"Don't mention it,,,here is some money to cover the burial expenses if is not enough we will add you more."

Helena said handing them some money in the bag, and the couple looked at them puzzled, that was so much money, it was enough to cover the expenses and eating until they die.

The were looking at her she thought maybe they were thinking that she was trying to buy them, she was about to say something, that it was not what they were thinking but she was cut off.
