26 Practice 2

Feeling the fiery fire of these enchanted souls going against each other. It could be depicted that the duel was going to be a ravishing one.

Contemplating on who was going to make the first move, these two were really focused at one another to the extent that one could feel the heat emitting from them.

A slight mistake in attack could decide the winner of this dazzling duel within seconds. Was this bout mental, physical or magical as one couldn't just figure out what the wait was all about.

Within a flash, a trembling speed by these two came towards each other to form a close contact with Eunice zapping out lightning from her fist like that of a punching glove but there was Logan confronting her nothing.

"Absolutely nothing"

Striking few lightning at the path of Logan in order to reduce his speed or to derail him by impacting a damage to him. Logan dodged not one but all the attack with simplicity but it caused to withdraw his attack.

He then threw a punch at thin air towards Eunice from a mile away. The punch was a damaging as it could be seen destroying the path of earth with it still heading towards Eunice's spot. She had no option than to quickly jump away from that place of range.

He began throwing more and more and more at this girl not even having a sense of pity that she was a lady. Eunice managed to dodge all but the last one which caught her right arm.

With this injury suffered, Eunice stood up from the ground and she chanted a spell. Astonishingly, she began to levitate with the intention of attacking from above which naturally would put Logan at a disadvantage.

Foreseeing what she was about to do, he looked at her with confidence hovering all over his face and he smiled. Eunice sighted the grin on his face and she was indignant at his nerve.

She yelled "astrapí"

Lo! and behold, rain of lightning appeared from above with their aim only at the already to be dead Logan.

At this point, Ben leaned forward as he sat upright gazing at this moment of viciousness. Thinking "who will go down or how will he escape from this".

Scott and his other friends began to tremble at the sight of what Eunice could do, knowing fully well that a mess up from them could make them receive this kind of attack.

It began.

The rain of lightning was nonstop as it delved into Logan's spot.

"Zap Zap Zap"

The lightning went towards him with magnificent speed.

The air was filled with dust as the lightnings tilled the ground also.

For like a minute, the battleground and the audience was filled with total silent, as everyone were waiting for the mist to clear up to know the pitiful outcome of a boy once called Logan.

The dust soon cleared and no one was there. Neither Logan's living or dead body was on that ground. Everyone was shocked but Ben was not touched at this situation.

Eunice herself could not commiserate with what was happening as she searched for him with her eyes all over the battleground.

Logan gave her a little knock with his hand by neck from behind which took Eunice into a deep sleep at once. Falling from the sky, Logan was kind enough to catch her and steer back to the ground.

"How did he reach up there"

"How the fuck did he reach up there"

That was the sentence that was on everybody's mind as they could not articulate what just happened.

They hastily rushed to carry Eunice from the spot in order to revive back from her sleep as they poured water on her face. She was able to react as she opened her eyes and she asked what happened.

Without remorse, Scott said "I guess you lost". She looked sad but she responded as she faced Logan "it won't be easy next time pal".

With the practice between them ended, it was time for Scott to showcase what he could do. But no one wanted to fight him.

Scott was bragging about everyone being afraid of him. But they told him they couldn't continue as they were stressed out but Logan was ready to go again. Fear seized Scott after hearing Logan say he was ready to face him but he could not just say that he was ready to quit before the fight even starts.

Victor rushed to tell him not to face him or else Scott will end up at the other side of the world so Logan just restrained his steps,backing down from the fight.

And from nowhere a voice sprang round the battleground, "I will face you".

The shadow stood up from the extreme back of the audience's seat as he approached them.

It was none other than Ben. He came towards them patting Scott by the shoulder saying "let begin this".

Scott didn't know the reaction to put up but confidence seized him from nowhere as he removed his cloth and headed to the battleground to meet his opponent.

What is it going to be, is this the battle that makes them friends or the fight that conjures hatred between them?.
