CHAPTER 10: The Preparation
Waking up once again in a familiar room, Isaac looked at his body to check for injuries to find nothing again. Either the witch or the maid has the ability to heal internal and mental injuries. With his SS stat mentality, he should be alright despite using a new spell. Still, that spell was too powerful with defense and attack capability. An armor that can withstand the physical attacks of red orcs and the magical attacks of fire and lightning wolves whilst improving his katana that can cut through anything. Opening his status once again, a blue screen appeared.

Most of his stats were upgraded by a rank while his Intelligence and Charisma only improved by a tier. All of his spells except for the new spell were improved by a rank as well. His skill was also improved by a rank while the skill blood control jumped from E to C- by 2 ranks and a tier. Ranks were the letters while the tiers are the minus or plus sign. Ranks range from G to SS while tiers range from incomplete which is a minus sign, to complete without any signs, and upgraded which has the plus sign. He finally reached level 10 which might be a milestone but he didn't receive anything that can boost his capabilities except for the new spell. Clicking the new spell, the status box grew bigger before a line of text appeared.
Crimson Knight's Protection(Incomplete)
The secret spell of the vampires, only the duke level and marquis level vampire can use and learn this. An incomplete spell that needs a certain body technique to complete it again, giving a new class to the user. Once a day, at a cost of 10 liters of blood. The user can activate the spell which gives the user Crimson Armor and Crimson Claymore for 1 minute.
Crimson Armor
Coats the user with blood, creating an armor capable of negating half the damage received while counterattacking every physical attack received by the user's current blood spike spell
Crimson Claymore
Coats the weapon of the user with blood. The weapon will be enhanced, gaining an augment of reach 3, size 3, sharpness 3, and tear 3. The enhanced weapon can create a shockwave 10 times sharper than the weapon at a cost of shortening the time by half or using 20 liters of blood. If the liters of blood are not enough, it will further shorten the remaining time or take 10% of the user's blood.
Reading the crimson claymore, he finally understands why he loses consciousness and felt nauseated. The blood around him was not enough for the shockwave as the time was shortened further until one second is left, but it was not enough so when a bleeding and fatigued Isaac tried using the shockwave. It cost him 10% of his blood, which added nauseous effects and extreme fatigue to himself as he collapsed and lost consciousness afterward.
He noticed that the maid was talking to Kyle but they were too far for him to hear what they saying. His head is still ringing but the pain has already subsided or the pain is still there, Isaac didn't know or really cared. He stands up while walking slowly towards the both of them.
"So that's why we needed a weapon art for Isaac" Kyle said to the maid Catherine
"Still, the highness has other business that she is doing right now. I advise you to not disturb her like the one you did last time" the maid glances at Isaac before turning her head to Kyle
"Tell the highness, that if she gives us a sword weapon art and the egoriu's earring. I'll tell her the location of the sunbloom flower and the nightbloom flower" Kyle said firmly. The maid bowed before leaving the room. Kyle sighed deeply as he massaged his temples
"We have been sleeping for a week and the maid didn't try waking us up" Kyle said with an annoyed tone
"It seems like we overused our powers that's why we slept for a week" Kyle informed
"Still, we needed to reach level 25 before the banquet begins. I got a feeling that the witch has already told everyone attending the banquet that we will go there" Kyle said with an angry tone
"Why would she do that?" Isaac asked
"No clue, but i'm sure that the three sacred weapon wielders will be there"
"We have diplomatic immunity right?" Isaac replied
"Yes, but we should keep our guard up. That's why i needed the egoriu's earring. It allows 2 or more people to get teleported to a marked location. We can use it to run away" Kyle sighed
"Let's go, we have work to do"
"Ok"
After getting the egoriu's earring and the crimson blade style, Kyle gave the information on where the locations of sunblood and nightbloom were not controlled or monitored by the elves. Sunbloom increases the heat resistance of armor and can be used for potions to gain temporary heat protection. Meanwhile, the nightbloom can be used for potions from healing to buffing allies. Both flowers are important to make high-level potions and rare to the alchemist since those ingredients can only be bought from the elves at a high price. With that information, the witch who was the mortal enemy of the elves can get her hands on potions that require both sunbloom and nightbloom.
For the remaining two months, both Isaac and Kyle fought the wolves, red orcs, and even the treants. Most of the time, they got surrounded before almost dying but the witch always teleported them back. Their bones were broken, their skin was scorched and at one time Isaac's arm was ripped off by the bone wyvern. Still, they continued whether it was raining or the sun was baring its fangs. The witch can only helplessly teleport them back to the mansion before the maid heals them every time the both of them were more injured than before.
On the last day, Isaac and Kyle were surrounded by the treants and bone wyvern. Kyle continued on swinging his spear with occasional chaos magic there and here but Isaac can only use the crimson knight's protection as he split the ground in half as the treant falls to the crevice before a rain of blood spikes slammed towards them. The 5 bone wyvern dove towards Kyle but with a swing of his spear, a black shockwave slashed forward and splitting the bone wyverns into two.
Still, the sky was covered with bone wyverns that the forest grew darker. With his feet on the ground as he hunched his back and bending his knees, he jumped like spring towards the bone wyverns as he shouted while his spear becomes a small black dragon flying around him as it devours anything that attacks him and with his both palm opened. Black beams courses through the sky as it destroys any bone wyverns upon contact. A man floating in the air with a small black dragon encircling him as the beams of darkness was shot in different directions killing anyone close enough was a terrifying sight to behold.
After clearing the sky with bone wyverns, Kyle falls slowly to the ground with a smirk only to fall in one of the crevices as he struggled to climb up again. The treants were sliced and bashed to splinters of wood as the ground was full of crevices was made with every swing of Isaac's crimson sword.
"Finally reached level 25?" Kyle asked at the red armored man
"Yes" the armor vanishes to reveal a fatigue Isaac as he coughed weakly
"Honestly, if it wasn't for our reckless and suicidal attacks. We will never level up until 25" Kyle smiled before throwing a white towel to Isaac. Grabbing the towel, Isaac started wiping the sweat and blood around his body.
"Well, if the witch never healed us. We would be already dead 10 times over" Kyle said
"We should head back" Isaac informed as he walked towards the center of the forest as Kyle followed him
Once inside the mansion, both of them were healed and cleaned using magic by the maid before going to their room. It was a hellish experience, he has never felt that tired and fatigue in his life as he laid in his bed. With a sigh, he opened his status to check on the progress.

Even when leveling up, the stats were barely improving which shows that the higher the tier the harder it is to improve the stats. His spells such as blood spike and crimson knight's protection have improved by a ton since it's the most used spells of his while the blood explosion was barely used since Isaac can't control the amount of blood being compressed, resulting in nearly killing both of them when exploded. He still didn't find a way to make the process of turning the blood into blood spikes automatic so it's much better to use the blood spike since it's faster and easier to control.
The new spell, absorb blood is useful to heal his injuries since the blood will convert itself to lifeforce and with the amount of blood littered in their battles. He can heal continuously while fighting. The problem with the spell is, it needs a lot of blood to heal a wound or injuries so when there are enemies who don't have any blood like treants and undead. It was useless.
He finally received a weapon style that consists of 3 straightforward movements. A Downward Slash, capable of splitting the ground into two. The Crimson Steps, which allows Isaac to run 2 times faster when the ground is covered with blood. It can even be used on a wall if there is blood splattered on it. The final movement is domination which buffs Isaac while nerfing his enemies. The blood lust will emanate from inside his body, causing someone who has a lower mentality than Isaac to gain fear and confusion for 5 seconds. A very useful movement that can be used no matter what level the enemy is since Isaac's mentality is higher than the majority of monsters and people.
His new weapon arts are the very basic ones, the blood slice is the same as the crimson claymore but instead of a large shockwave, it is a small slice of blood that traveled to a certain distance allowing Isaac to target enemies away from him. The whirlwind blood summons a whirlwind with literal blood slices that shoot out everywhere. It is a volatile weapon art which means the blood slices can hit his allies and himself. After reading his status, Isaac closed his eyes before he finally falls asleep.
Kyle who is writing something in his notepad is remembering every important detail from his last life. Knowing that the fall of gods will happen 10 years from now after the demon king was killed. Kyle needed to find trustworthy allies to fight the gods. He finally allied himself with the blood emperor who was only killed by the vampire god Valeriys after their 2 day battle that destroyed a part of the human continent. If only the strongest warriors united, the catastrophe would have stopped but instead they fought themself and become traitors that killed their fellow men.
The beastkin traitor, Cellica the eternal berserker who has massacred most of the human's fighting force against the gods before dying from a rebound of her skill weakened the humans to the point that the humans nearly vanish from the world. Added by the traitorous hero who killed the demon king, David Wittingham who killed the majority of human kings only pushed the humans and otherworlders to extinction. Almost all of the strongest warriors and otherworlders become tempted by the eternal life of the gods that they willingly joined their side.
In the end, he was the only one left in the losing battle against the gods. Kyle gritted his teeth as he throws the notepad and the pen to the wall. He breathes roughly as he tried calming himself. He walked to the notepad and the pen before writing again. He needs to stop the death of the wind hero and the saintess if he wants to further change the future.
'I'll make sure that the gods will never win again' he sworn in his heart and mind before resting in his bed as the moonlight passes through the glass window. His hand trying the grasp the moon before chuckling. He can only hope that in the future, the beautiful moon will stay in the sky.
