The first meeting

In the deep night air, a slender figure on a bicycle swept past.

Suddenly, the figure stalled and fell violently to the ground with the bike.

"What a bummer!" Alice muttered, propping herself up and checking her whole body, which was intact except for some scrapes on her palms.

She took a breath and got up, picked up her bike and rode on home. She knew that she was going to be scolded by Aunt Daisy today.

She had lost both her parents when she was a child and Aunt Daisy had raised her. Aunt Daisy was good at everything, but sometimes she was secretive and eccentric.

Take for example this one rule that she had to be home by seven every day, and even added a half-rule this year - she had to be home immediately after school on the full moon every month.

Alice grimaced whenever she thought about it, it wasn't like she was a werewolf who would turn on the full moon. So why did she have to go home so early?
