Rescuing Cynthia

According to the security footage, Cynthia did come to the door and got into an SUV just as the doorman had said, but the license plate was blocked and could not be read.

"And don't worry guys, maybe it's a friend of hers? Maybe wait a while and she'll contact you." The doorman reassured the two optimistically.

"You're right, thanks." Alice thanked the doorman and pulled Valen, who had become six-fold, out of the doorman's room.

Alice didn't feel the doorman's words were right. Although she didn't know Cynthia very well, she knew that she was a very down-to-earth girl who wouldn't easily forget an appointment with Valen, and that she was definitely in trouble.

But Valen was already nervous enough at this point, and Alice didn't want to panic him further by voicing her suspicions, so she said, "Tell you what, you go to her house and ask around, and I'll go to town and check it out. We'll split up and call if anything happens."
