Connor

SOMEONE has a death wish. The moment I found out my mate was in a car accident, my wolf went ballistic. We were out for blood knowing that the accident was actually intentional. Someone was out there to hurt my mate.

The human’s hospital smelled rancid. There was so much blood that I could almost feel it seeping into my pores. I immediately located my mate by sensing her.

I walked in the direction of her scent. It was unusual because I didn’t feel her pain when she lost consciousness. It was Charles who contacted me, saying that Tara was rushed to the hospital by the police. On the way to town, the three of them were hit by another car.

“Connor.”

I quickly turned to see who called my name. My mate stood behind me, her hand on the doorknob. I looked up to see that I had passed Dr Williams’ office: Charles’ mother.

“Tara.”
