Elena's POV
Later in the evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, I found Ursula and Onika sitting by the edge of the pack territory, looking out at the serene landscape. The air was filled with a sense of peace that had eluded us for a while.
"You did well back there, Ursula," I remarked, breaking the quietude.
She smiled, her eyes reflecting a mixture of relief and contentment. "It was the right thing to do, Elena. I really wanted to be of help. You all have treated us like family. Family they say, comes first."
"I'm proud of you, Ursula. Thank you both for the help and love you guys have shown us," I said, appreciating the depth of our bond. I sat down beside them.
Ursula chuckled.
Onika touched my hand. "Likewise, Elena. You've been through a lot, and I know you can face whatever comes your way. You are a true and wonderful Luna."
"Are you going to leave Killian?" Ursula asked, all of a sudden.
