The New Alpha

THIRD PERSON POV

Alpha Rofus, on the other hand, stared blankly at the waterfall in front of him. He was on the opposite side of Amelia and was presently on the highest rock. He was currently in human form. He's been there for a few hours, and he still seems to be daydreaming about everything. Alpha Rofus couldn't believe he was now the Alpha of their pack, the Blazepaw Guardians. His uncle gave him that title because he had no children to inherit and now wished to be with his first love, who had gotten away from him before. There was someone in his family who was able to be the leader, but she is a woman, and she doesn't seem interested in owning the position; all she wants now is to be completely independent of herself.

"You can do it, Rofus, as you've managed our company for so long. Why are you concerned and hesitant that you won't be able to fulfill your role as Alpha of our pack? Have you forgotten how good you are at everything? You've also received weapon training and have won all of your fights because of your strength. You're talented, and I do believe you can handle everything."

"But, Nikita, shouldn't you be the one who is eligible to be the pack's leader? Why are you refusing? Don't you want to manage your late father's pack and the business he built?"

She simply laughed and shook her head in response to Rofus questions. Being an alpha female is not something she considers herself to be, particularly at her age. If she ever wanted a title, it would be Luna of the Alpha in a different pack. She desired to live a normal life. And because she couldn't find it in their pack, she planned ahead of time to leave their pack once she finished college. Or even if it's Beta or Omega, she doesn't mind their rank as long as he loves her and can take care of her. That was the only dream she had right now.

Alpha Rofus' first cousin's name was Nikita Melbore. They informed them that both their fathers were killed in the war against the Rouge, who were attempting to steal their pack when they were both young.

"As your cousin, Alpha Rofus, I'm always right behind you and ready to help. So don't be concerned about me. Always remember that you'll be an extremely good Alpha in the pack. The position of Alpha belongs to you."

Alpha Rofus was honored last night, and the title Alpha was transferred to his name, so it's understandable that he hasn't slept yet, fearful that he won't be capable of carrying out his role. Another thing that irritates him is the lack of any indication that he will meet his future daughter, Luna, despite his age. He's getting older, which worries him more. He had prophesied several times, and the soothsayer had predicted that their meeting would be imminent. According to the prophecy, his mate is similar to them, which is why he is always present at some other packs' gatherings and parties, hoping to spot his mate. He's been doing this for years in the hopes of finding her by channeling his inner wolf, named Jack. But he always returns to the pack disappointed and alone.

"Perhaps that soothsayer is lying."

Alpha Rofus took a few deep breaths and reached into his pocket for the cigar. He also rose from his seat. He was already tired and sleepy from a few nights of pleasure in their pack house before transferring the title of Alpha of their pack house to him. Add to that his never-ending work and service as the company's CEO. It was still managed by his uncle, but he knew that the company, like the pack house, would eventually be named after him. He had also traveled from France to attend the conference for their business. He quickly took the lighter from his pocket and was about to light the cigar in his mouth when he was interrupted by a loud voice. It was a woman screaming, howling very loudly!

"Who is she?" he asked blankly, his pair of gray eyes flickering with rage. His brows are almost joined together as he knows that no one could enter the forest without his permit. "How did that creature get in here?!"

He clearly remembered that there were no scheduled treks throughout Forester Woods on that day. If there is, he will know it earlier because he is going through the process of obtaining the permit in that area. That's why he was curious about the living thing he was hearing now and how she ended up there.

Alpha Rofus even searched around to see where the sounds were coming from. He instantly grimaced when he couldn't find anything, although he knew his eyes were sharp. What he didn't realize was that she was only on the opposite side, and because Amelia was seated, he wouldn't notice her. Add to that the fact that it is extensively forested and has beautiful greenery. He kept hearing her cry for help, which made him slowly get to his feet and look around the whole area for her. She needs to find her!

"Where are you?" he asked as his jaw moved.

He would not allow it to go unnoticed and unreported, as no one could access that location without his permission. Especially if that person is a mere human with nothing to do with his life. Of course, except for Nikita's friends, who'd been his cousins, no one was exempt. But he had a feeling it wasn't her or one of her friends.

What is she going to do there at that time?

She is still on the run for most of the island. And now that Alpha Rofus is in charge of everything, he has the right to look after the forest and do anything he wants, especially when it comes to outsiders.

"Who is it? Who is that creature that dares to defy my imposed rules? Doesn't she know that entering the forest without my authorization is totally forbidden? She must be held accountable for this action!"
