RAIN
I knew I wanted to look different but didn't have an exact look in mind.
"You want to dye your hair as well?" day looks at me through the mirror, the hair stylist combing through my wet locks, ready to start the haircut.
"I am tired of my natural hair color. I want to feel something different," I shrug, casually going through the women's magazine in my hands.
"You have beautiful hair. I am sure it will look good in whatever color you choose, " Day smiles at me encouragingly.
"I don't know what color to settle on, though. Blonde seems so obvious; I do not want blue; it's too out there."
"Can I suggest something?" the hairstylist asks me politely.
"Sure."
"Your skin tone would go so well with purple and or pink. There is a shade in between, it's muted pink, almost purple, it would look so good on you," she smiles as she explains, handing me a pallet to see the color she is talking about.
I immediately love it.
