chapter 80:Gabby’s POV

"Apples!" She yelled stepping away from me and in an instant I heard the rough padding of feet and a young man came in bearing the basket of Apples, he handed one of the fruits to her before turning around with the basket and taking it up to where her throne was. The music from the piano flowed across the room in a sad tone filled with melancholy and I could say very well that it expressed my grief, whimpers from my daughter could be heard and she poked her face through the iron bars of the cage, she held onto the bars and peered at me as if silently pleading for help, her eyes just like mine glistened with tears and salty liquid ran down her cheeks which were reddened from sobbing. The sound of Helena munching on the poor fruit could be heard above the music, it irritated me, I wanted to scream at her to throw the damn Apple away and start talking but she was so engrossed in the red juicy fruit like she just discovered them and they were her new obsession.

"How do you feel Gabby?" She asked suddenly directing her gaze at me, the fruit still in her mouth, "I do not think I would ever want to be in your place." She mocked me with a dry chuckle. "Well, at least I do not feel like a piece of shit and spawn of the devil! Unlike you! Evil witch!" I spat my venom snarling at her but she only laughed and began to walk up the stairs, the half eaten apple fell from her fingers and rolled to where I was.

"Don't you wish your villain was evil like me? Oh don't you? don't you?" She sang creepingy as she got to her throne and sat on it, "Don't wish to be just like me? Oh, don't you? don't you?" She continued singing causing me to grimace.

"Over my dead body!" I growled at her and she began to laugh really hard, the type of sinister laughter that you only heard in movies, the type that made you want to run for your life, "I would never be like you!"

"Oh, you won't dear." She winked at me before leaning back into her throne, "I wouldn't even give you a fucking chance and just like you said, over your dead body." A mischievous grin adorned her lips, "And I will make sure of that."

I glowered at her and she sat up in her chair with her hand under her chin like she was in deep thought, "Where do I start this story from?" She mused staring into space, "Yunno if this was a musical." She began as she stood up from her seat,

"I would be levitating around singing about how much I hate you and how my plans are finally piecing together but sadly, no it is not." She pouted like a child at her last words making me roll my eyes, "But anyways I do have to tell the story as it will be a pity, you not knowing of it before you breathe your last,"

"I would be the one coming out of this alive!" I snapped at her wringing in my cuffs, "Just let me at you bitch!"

"It's really funny." She smirked, "You thinking you can best me at a fight, we will see about that." She Smiled, "In the mean time let us proceed to the story but before that, let us start with the introductions."

I raised my brows in confusion while wondering what the hell she was talking about, what introductions? She stood up from her seat and walked forward, standing before the throne with her back facing it and front facing me. I watched her with curiosity and boom, a woosh of air, spark of light and a bit of startlement which caused me to close my eyes for a while and when I opened them, I was perplexed and shocked. In place of Helena stood me, not me per say but a replica of me, like I was staring at a mirror, it made me wonder how powerful she was if she could shape shift into people's form within a blink of an eve. She smirked at me standing fully in my form wearing exactly what I was wearing at the moment,

"Hello, I am Gabby." She said in my exact voice, "The pitiable silver wolf who had borne a bastard." I growled at her last words and another flash of light, with a whoosh of the wind and she was back to her normal self, "And I am Helena." She winked, "Your worst nightmare.bThe music from the piano went on and had begun to wonder if the pianist didn't need a break, she walked back to her throne as the finished with her introductions. She sat on it and took an apple from the basket, she bit from it before squishing the poor fruit beneath her palm and I began to pity it.

"So where do I begin?" She sighed leaning against the throne as if fighting within herself to reach conclusion.

"Start from the beginning." I gritted and that earned an apple being thrown to my face which hit me square on the nose.

"You do not tell me what to do!" She barked, "And shut the fuck up! I hate interruptions, one more word from you and that bastard will bear the consequences!" She pointed at Amara who cowered away and I gulped. I kept shut from then on, watching her intently with my lips sealed tightly not wanting her to take out her anger on my poor child.

"So, where was I?" She laid back again with a sigh,

"Ah! Ah! I guess I should start from the very beginning." She said, "A long, long, long, long..." I rolled my eyes at her exaggeration of the long,

"Long time ago, right before I found my mate, I had a sorcerer look into my future despite knowing very well that I was amongst the most powerful wolves and I already had a good ranking in the werewolf world but I was curious." She munched on a fresh Apple she held, "I wanted to know more and then she looked into my future and what she saw had me enraged." She glared at me, "She confirmed that I was amongst the potens lupi and that amongst all three ones, i will be mated to one and the other shall be my demise. " Her glare never lessened, "I asked her to explain her words as I was a bit confused and then she went further to talk about how i would be mated to the grey wolf and the silver wolf would be born and would be more powerful than i am and in a fit of rage, i killed her right on the spot not wanting to hear of somne mere

silly younger wolf being more powerful than i am."

My mind reeled as she continued her story, she had surely been born evil, "I left in search for another fortune teller but before then i already knew the extent of my powers and i could use and abuse them and so i abused, well, it's not really abuse when it is in my favor." She giggled to herself, "I was already undergoing training to be inducted into the wolves council and i had access to the books, i used my powers and manipulated them forehand before they were introduced to the supernatural world and i tampered with them altering all myths of the silver wolf and changing them into those of abominations and that was how the rumours of the silver wolf being an outcast started."

"You monster!" I yelled as rage travelled through me, her confession hitting me with severe slices at how wicked she was, "How dare you?!"

"Oh calm down Gabby." She smiled at me, "We

haven't even gotten to the good part." She finished the apple in her hand and picked up another, "After tampering with the books, I knew it wasn't going to be easy that my version of the silver wolf be bought as most elders already read it, I decided to do something about that by casting a spell which erased specific memories of what the silver wolf actually was and then I mind controlled them into buying the false information in the books and thus; everything was set in motion and the whole world was in agreements with the silver wolf being Cursed."

I was infuriated, I wanted to pull at my cuffs so violently and then I would advance to her and wrap the chains around her neck, she deserved worse than that.

"After setting the first part of my plan in motion, I set out leaving my trainings behind. I gave the excuse of wanting to find myself which wasn't entirely false as I wanted to see a different witch to tell tale my future." She gave me a bored look, "I met her, she told me exactly what the other one I had killed, had. But hers was worse as she made me look in the mirror of futures and then I saw You were to be an omega which completely irritated me that an omega will one day be more powerful than I am! I saw what you looked like your younger and older self and then she revealed to me that you shall be mated to my own son." She paused a bit, biting into her apple before continuing her tale, "I was provoked yet glad that I had turned the books and whipped my potions which already set your existence in a bad light but on the other hand I was still enraged knowing that i would have a son in the future and he shall be mated to my adversary and at this point i had to think of a better plan which incduded not having a mate so iwouldn't bear a child."

"I don't even know what to say to you Helena! You are sick!" I snapped at her wringing in my cuffs,

"How dare you ruin my life like this?!"

"No one asked you to Speak! You seem to have forgotten that I hate interruptions!"

"Fuck you! Fuck you and your damn hate for interruptions!"

"I fucking warned you!" She screeched and the next moment she vanished and appeared before Kate's cage, "The little wimp gets it!"

"What are you going to do to her?!" I yelled as she dragged a whimpering Kate out of her cage, "Get the fuck away from my daughter!"

"You are still talking!" She snapped before pulling her buy her ears and I saw Red!

"Mummy! Help me please!" Kate squealed and cried as Helena pulled her ears, the girl looked up at whom she had called grandma, betrayal of trust had began to hit her, "please let me go Mummy

Helena!"

"Shut the fuck up mutt!" She growled and I twisted, twisting against my cuffs trying to get them free so I could fall down and attack her, she saw my movements and moved her fingers towards me, the cuffs tightened causing me to yell out in pain, joining Kate in screaming as we both drowned in pain, "I hope you have learned your lesson!" She let go of Kate pushing her into the cage but the hold she had on my wrists remained, she slammed the cage shut and walked back to her throne.

"Where was I?" She snorted picking up another apple, "Ah yes! I left the witch's place and began to travel towards the land of the dragons to avoid meeting my mate but darn my luck! He was just returning from an expedition and he claimed me instantly halting my plans, I just had to relax and enjoy everything that came with mates and I was glad that we were the only two considered as special wolves while the other one was already an outcast before her emergence." A smirk laced her lips, "The only task I had now was not getting pregnant and taking over the throne from my mate, at this point I was already inducted into the supreme wolves society as a junior member of course but my ambitions were higher, I knew I couldn't get to the top immediately and so i decided to take the throne by planning the King's death knowingI will ascend since he had no child but then again, darn luck! The king was hard to kill and at the same time I got pregnant with Aiden, ruining my plans, I tried my possible best to get rid of him but it was to no avail, he stayed and even after he was born and I was forced to be a good mother, I still tried killing him, whipping potions and casting spells but the darn bastard was hella tougher than his father!"

"Aiden adores you!" I screamed at her with tears rolling down my cheeks as I thought of the discreet ways she must have planned out to take her own son's life, "You are a disaster Helena!"

"And so is your lie." She winked and I sneered at her, "Aiden lived and so did his father, I researched more with the only original copy that I had and I found out that you have to mate with the Alpha King, your destined mate for your powers to come forth." She frowned pursing her lips now, "And just then I heard the news that you were born which i was lucky it happened right after I fashioned your mother's fate into dying by birth, I knew I had to rob you of a good parent an..."

"You killed my mother!" I yelled out baring my canines and extracting my claws, "You robbed me of a mother's love! You killed my mother and I took the blamne for it my entire life!" I trashed in the air trying to set myself free as with each revelation of hers, I got more shocked, "Let me out!" I growled trashing against the cuffs as they grew tighter, "

"I!will avenge my mother!"

"Oh chill Gabby!" She scoffed, "You are not the first to lose a good parent." She sneered at me, "Increase the piano music or I will cut off your fingers!" She growled out loud and the music which had been low increased it's tempo instantly,

"Let me finish my tale and you can vet out and yell however you want, alright?" She didn't wait for my reply, not like I had any, I could only protest by thrashing in the air and weeping.

"You were passed down to your dead beat father much to my delight and then I had to set other plans in motion, I immediately cooked up two potions to fake mate bonds knowing that I would need them, I kept them aside and the longer they stayed the more potent they became. I contacted Titan's family and we arranged the gamble knowing that your father was a sucker for cards just as he was bad at it, the game was played and whoosh! You were in the arms of Titan and the instruction was to kill you and then I faced my son, soon he grew, I stalled the meeting knowing you were already dead and my son would never meet you but then I wanted to be extra careful and that was where shenan came in."

"My head rang at the name, "A poor omega trying to make ends meet and I knew I had to use her plus with her looking like you, she was perfect. I hand picked her and she was very, very easy to control and use." The tempo of the song lowered this time and I knew she would get angry, "I set up the fake mate bond, set her up in the woods, Aiden went for patrol and found her and boom he accepted her. They went on and on, falling in love, well basically only him falling in love cause she knew she had a mission, I paid her heavily, she went ahead with the plan but roused suspicions sometimes which had to warn her not to, they all loved her and at the end I used her to take out my Mate cause i didn't want to do it myself.

"You had your own mate killed?" I screeched looking at her wide eyed, "Didn't you think of the pain you would go through, does your evil have no depths?" She only smirked at me and laid back on her throne.

"Oh calm down Gabby, his death was worth it, helped me rise higher to be the leader of the council and next to the moon goddess." She smirked, "And quit whinning, the pain I felt was worth it, not like I was ever faithful to him anyway."

"You are a monster." I gritted, "You won't go free!"

"My monstrosity comes with a purpose and who exactly is going to stop me? You?" She did her evil mocking laughter that made my insides curl, "The plan was me helping her get away with her crime and pay but I changed my mind, I let Aiden catch her red handed and she was arraigned before the council, I kept assuring her that everything will be fine and she shouldn't rat me out, she confessed to all crimes and the fake mate pull leaving my name out of her mouth and immediately after that I pushed them to kill her cause I couldn't have her on the loose having things to implicate me with."

My heart ached for the poor girl knowing that she was used and killed by Helena thereby robbing her of a fulfilled life, "And just then Andros came along."

"Andros?"

"Oh darling! She was his adopted sister, he knew her death wasn't ordinary and so he came to the castle to search for answers, he was smart really smart and I couldn't have him around, I wanted him dead but then I switched up, mind controlled him into forgetting his purpose and had him thrown into prison for criminal acts." She said, "I didn't kill him knowing he will be useful later."

"How could you do that to him?!" She rolled her eyes ignoring my question, "I thought everything was well, Aiden shattered and in pains, Andros gone to prison and my mate out of the way till I found that the truth that you were still alive, you weren't easy to kill."

My mind flashed back to all the near death experiences i had and how I nearly died but survived, "I knew I had to do something to keep you away from Aiden and so I be brought the second potion and whipped up a mate bond between you and Titan which was perfect. You stayed back for years and Aiden was already tired wanting nothing than to finda mate and so he had to mate with the beta and just then you came along.
