Because of you

"Hello Alan, reveal what happened?"

"Victory is ours."

"Really?"

"Yes, I received an arrest warrant. You come to the station."

"Superb, I will be there within 20 minutes."

The Call ended.

"What happened? Darling."

"We got an arrest warrant so I will move to the station."

"Hmm, okay. Be careful."

I put on blue jeans with a white shirt and get ready. Ash reached inside the room.

"You will come back tonight, right?"

"Ah, I don't know honey."

"Try to be before 12.00AM, darling."

I nodded my head. 

"Charlie will be in the residence only. So, take care of him. If you are going out somewhere else then take him along with you. Don't leave him alone. I'm moving."

I went inside the station. Alan explains the arrest plan with some police officers. "Alan." I approached him.

"Hey, Jia, come. There are the police joining us to capture James and others who are all on the spot."

"I see."

"Right now, James and others are not in the villa. We don't know where they are left. So we have to stay for them to show up in the villa and later arrest them. We all will be rounded up the villa and enter the villa after James's car enters inside the villa. Until that, all wear your Bluetooth. After my order only you all should get inside the villa."

After thirty minutes, we arrived at the villa. We are all wearing casual clothes so that no one can pinpoint us. One minute later, a car arrived. James, young lady and Leo's parents all are inside the car. Yeah, I guess I'm so lucky today. I can arrest all of them on the spot. They all entered the villa. 

After five minutes, we all entered. Thirty minutes ago, we alerted the security of the villa. The security guard is an ex-military man, so he understood us and said he will help us. I, Alan and another three officers entered the villa. 

Alan opened the door. We followed Alan by holding our pistol. James noticed the door opening and asked who were you? Alan, I and other three officers took our positions and aimed our pistol toward everybody present there.

Alan told don't move, hands in the air. All were scared by looking at the pistol. Alan showed the arrest warrant and explained we are here to arrest you all. 

Leo's dad took the warrant and confirmed. Leo's mom asked what is there in this paper? "Its arrest warrant was issued by the Commissioner General." Leo's dad replied. 

"Enough, reading this paper." Alan pulled the warrant back. 

"Can we move?" I removed my cap and sneered at them. All were shocked by looking at me. Actually, I put on a black cap so that they wouldn't recognize me.

"Officers arrest all of them. Don't leave anyone." Alan ordered. Through Bluetooth, Alan called other police officers and instructed them to check the villa clearly.

At the station, we locked James, Leo's dad, in the lock-up. The young lady who roamed with James, we left her with Leo's mom in the next lock-up. Still, we didn't set up our investigation.

"Hey Jia. How are you? I overheard someone give you life. Who is it?" James set up the conversation. Leo's parents giggled.

"I will marry anyone. There is no need to inform you."

"Hey, it's alright. Do you know who they are?" James pointed towards Leo's parents and asked. Alan was told to answer no.

"No, I don't know them."

"How will she recognize us? She is the one who destroyed my son's life."

I can endure whatever they say, but I can't tolerate this. It drives me furious. 

"You shut your ****mouth." I yelled. Leo's mom became mum. "You're the one who spoiled your son's life. You have a disease called money . That money blind your eyes and destroys your son's life, not mine. Don't tell yourself as a mom. It's disgusting to me. You spoiled his life by holding a marriage with another girl." 

"Jia, cool down. We can set up the investigation tomorrow. You move to your residence and take a rest." Alan said. 

I left the station and started driving. But I can't stop sobbing. I reached the residence. Ash is waiting for me by standing outside. I raced inside the residence by weeping. Ash was really startled by seeing me like that. I ran to the bedroom and shut the door. 

I refreshed and paused in front of a mirror. Leo's face only I can see in reflection. Again, I tear flooding and try to control myself, but tears can't stop popping out of my eyes. I reached near the bed to shed my eyes. I heard Ash's voice and opened the door. 

"Come, darling. Let's have dinner together." 

"I don't want you to go and have honey." 

"Nah, don't sleep without having food." 

"I don't want to." I sat on the bed. Ash sat down next to me. 

"You had only breakfast. In the afternoon, you slept. When you woke up, Alan called, and you left without having lunch. So, come have dinner." 

Now only I recognized it without preparing lunch for Ash. I drove to the police station after receiving Alan's call. Ash is worried about me, so I moved with Ash to have dinner. While proceeding to the dining table, Ash pulls my hand. I raise my eyebrows like WHAT?! He nodded his head like No, winked at me and led to the dining table where Charlie was waiting for us. 

"Charlie! Why are you standing like Hitler?" 

"Aish, don't pay attention to him. You come, have your seat. We can have dinner." 

"Charlie had dinner right?" 

"Ah, he is correct in that. You come, don't care for him."

Charlie barked, peering at Ash, changed his face sadly and stood next to me. What happened to both of them? Why are they both like angry birds today?

"Honey, what happened? Charlie barked at you, changed his face sadly and came near me." 

"He is creating sympathy. You have dinner." 

Charlie settled down next to my armchair. We both started having dinner. While eating, I turned to look at Charlie. But whenever I moved my head in Charlie's direction, Ash mentioned, don't... Don't give him a glance. Finally, we both finished having dinner. Then Ash helped me to clean the kitchen.
