Arrest Warrant

"Get inside, Alan."

"Hmm hi brother." Alan and Ash greeted each other.

"Have your seat, Alan." I said.

"You both talk, I will side with you guys in a few minutes."

Charlie heard Alan's voice and ran to the hall but he stayed near the sofa.

"Hey! Charlie, why are you staying there? Come." Charlie ran near Alan like a lightening second and offered his love by licking all over his face. 

Charlie and Alan were playing, so I left for the bedroom. Ash went to bathe. I tidied the bedroom, arranged a set of dresses for Ash to wear and searched for my laptop. 

"Huh? What are you searching for?" 

"Did you see my laptop?" I turned and faced him. 

In his wet hair, the water is going down towards his chest. He's just covering his lower body with a towel. Wow, so sexy. "Ahh... Laptop." Ash sided with me and searched for a laptop.

I gave up searching for laptops. Like a magnet, the magnetic force is pulling me towards him. I moved closer to Ash to hug. Thank God, Charlie barked. 

"Er... It's okay, I will search for it. You leave, put on your clothes." 

"Hmm okay." Ash moves his hands to remove the towel. I was frightened. 

"Wha... What are you going to do?" 

Ash laughed and shook his towel to prove he knotted it tight. He patted my head, picked up his clothes, and moved inside the dressing room. 

Aish, why does my mind work so badly? I knocked myself on my head and found my laptop. I grabbed it and moved to the hall. Still Alan and Charlie are playing. 

"Piggys, enough playing both of you." 

"Eee." 

"Did you have breakfast?" 

"Nah." 

"Okay, come we can have it." 

"Hmm, where is your hubby? I can't see him around." 

"Ah, soon he will join us." 

"Did Charlie have breakfast?" 

I came to say yes, but Charlie shakes his head like NO. 

"Yet you didn't have breakfast?" Alan frowned at me. 

"Hey don't count on him. Early in the morning, he had two plates." 

"Charlie, did you lie?" 

Charlie kept his face sad and carried his plate. 

"Haha, if you're hungry, ask, but don't lie." Alan hit slightly on Charlie's ear. Charlie faced opposition direction. 

"Look how he is acting. I guess he was born for acting." 

Ash came to the hall and called Alan to eat. I gave food to Charlie and the three went to the dining table. Silently, we had breakfast. Alan and Ash continued to the hall. I cleaned the kitchen and joined them.

Ash was going through a file. I called Alan to the seat next to me for a conversation about the case. 

"Did you figure out who that young lady was?" 

"I don't know, but James took her to an enormous villa. Here, look at these photos." 

"Wow... It's such a vast villa. It's outlook design is so marvelous." 

"Hey!" 

"Eee, sorry. You proceed." 

"There is an elderly couple living in this villa. They both look so familiar but I can't recognize where I met them." 

"Show me their photo." 

"Here, look." 

"I too, saw them somewhere. Zoom them closer." 

I zoom in and adjust the clarity. 

"Hey, you don't know them?" 

"No." 

"Hey, stupid, it's Leo's parents."

"Err, Leo??" 

"You... It's your ex-lover, Leo." 

"What the...! How Leo's parents know James?" 

"Ah, we should proceed further. What will be the network between Leo's parents and James?" 

"Aish, why there is no answer for questions?" I screamed. Ash stared at us. 

"What went on? Darling" 

"Haan, nothing. Alan, what can we do now?" 

For a few seconds, we become very mum. 

"Hey, Jia." Alan shouted. 

"Why are you shouting?" 

"According to Harry's handwritten statements, we can get an arrest warrant for James." 

"Oh, yes. I skipped it." 

"Tomorrow, I will visit the commissioner's office and try to get an arrest warrant in my name." 

"But..." 

"Listen to me. You show up for investigation purposes. I will take care of the case."

I don't know what to answer? Alan is caring about my family. But I'm frightened because I dragged him inside this case. He enlisted as a detective four years before till now he didn't talk with his mother properly because of his work. He is an only child so I don't want to cause any inconvenience to them. 

"Okay, don't bother about anything. I'm leaving. Bye, Alan." Alan left the residence. 

I moved to the bedroom, placed my laptop on the table and l laid on the bed. After a few minutes, Ash came and sat beside me on the bed. 

"Darling." 

"Hmm." 

"Come." He pulled me over and placed my head on his lap. My eyes started tearing. 

"If you have anything to share with me, share with me, darling. I'm ready to be your listener."

Yes, I want to talk about all my pain and crying louder. 

"I won't force you, but I will be here to support you, okay! Now, sleep for a while. You will feel better." 

Yes, I need some rest now. At the same time, I'm so grateful to God, who gave me a supportive husband. Tonight, I will say everything to him. I clench his hand and bed down. 

I heard door knocking sounds, so I got out of bed half dozing and opened the door. I opened my one eye and saw, It's Charlie. I saw Ash sleeping in a sitting position. I check the time, it's 3.00 PM. Oh so bitter, it must be painful for him. I passed near him and tapped his shoulder. 

"Hmm."

"Honey, sleep properly." I pulled his hand and laid him on the bed comfortably.

"Darling, I love you. Love you a lot." Ash dragged my hand, my leg slipped and collapsed beside him. He hugged me. I'm watching his face silently for a while. He is sleeping like a baby. I softly kissed his forehead. Charlie remained in the doorway and barked at us.

"Shuu. Charlie be silent."

I have a gigantic task after wrapping up this case. I decided to remove his hands and get out of the bed. But he is holding me tightly. After a few seconds, he turned the opposite direction. I get out of bed. 

"Charlie, you go to the hall. I will wash up my face and come." Charlie ran to the hall. I washed my uniform, hung it out on the balcony and refreshed myself. I went to the hall, Charlie noticed me and came with his bowl. 

"Acho, are you hungry? Sorry, baby. Come, I will give you your food." I placed dog food in his bowl and thought about cooking for lunch or dinner? It's already passed lunch time, so now we can have some snacks and directly, I will prepare for dinner. 

At 5.00 PM, Ash woke up and came to the hall. 

"Darling, Coffee."

"Here I have it."

"Wow, your coffee is so yummy."

"Okay. Enough." 

"Hey, I'm saying it for real." 

"Okay, I believed. How are Aunty and Uncle? Did you approach them?" 

"Hmm, in the morning, I called them. They both are having fun there." 

While we were both chatting, Alan called me...
