Alex no demon volume 2 chapter 14

At night in the middle of a waste land which used to be an city sorata/Saito was standing on a tall building looking at the moon as it was bright. As he was staring at the moon while the wind was blowing, he remembers when he was 13 years old as kojin was yelling at him, calling him a disgrace and that he is a failure. After that flashback, sorata gets a smile on his face and monolouges saying that he might been a failure, but it is the same failure that will kill him. He he notices a burn mark around his hand, while he looks at the burn mark, he says to himself that its better if he doesn't over do it. Sorata's phone then begins to ring. He picks it up and realizes ukina was at the other end of the phone. She asks him if he has started to look for the millennia stone she sent him, sorata then asks her which one she was talking about. Ukina reminds him that she told him to look for the one of the wind, sorata sighs and tells her that he is on it already and that she should stop bothering him. Ukina then giggle and tells him not to get himself killed. After the phone call ends, sorata jumps of the building and begins to walk around in search for the millennia stone. 18 years ago saito(4 years old) runs all the way to the living room in excitement and tells kojin(34years old) that he should come see what he can do, kojin looks at saito with a distasteful look on his face and asks him what he wants. Saito tells him that he is starting to get the hang of using destructive energy, kojin then tells him that he should stop deceiving himself and that he should get lost. Shizume(Kojin's wife who had red hair and was pregnant) tells kojin that he isn't being nice at all, she tells kojin that saito is so excited to show him what he can do but yet still telling him to go away. Kojin then sighs and tells saito to meet him at the training room, saito then screams in excitement and tells him that he wont let him down. As saito and kojin were in the training room, saito was powering up a small amount of destructive energy on his hands with all his efforts, which didn't seem that impressive concidering the output. Kojin who looked disappointed tells saito that if this was what he called him for, then he just wasted his time, saito then tells kojin to wait and that he isn't done yet,but then the destructive energy he was gathering just blew up and then burnt his hand. As saito screamed in pain, shizume rushes In and asks what happened, kojin just sighs and tells shizume to take this disgrace of a child away and then he walks out which made saito really sad.Few hours later, shizume was treating saito's burns in the living room and then saito asked her why "dad" just doesn't want to accept him at all. Shizume smiles at him and tells him that he shouldn't worry at all and that it's not like he doesn't love him but he is just too busy, saito then tells her that he wished dad will just acknowledge his efforts and that he wants to be a strong man like him one day. Shizume then cuddles him and tells him that he is going to be not just strong but the strongest, shizume then uses her flame ability to gather some flames on her hand and tells saito that one day he will be so strong that to the point that his powers will be greater than her's and that of kojin. Few weeks later, shizume then gives birth to a baby who had red hair, the doctor says that its a boy. Kojin had a smile on his face and says that he will name the baby "Son", saito seeing this with a smile on his face looks at the baby and says that he hopes he can be a good elder brother and then shizume Pat's him on the head telling him he will a loving one well. Seven years later son(7 years old) was at the stream blasting huge fire balls, shizume then tells him that he has trained enough and that he should come inside to eat. Meanwhile saito in the forest was gathering destructive energy and blasting trees down, although saito's hands started to burn up and have burn marks all over them. Kojin seeing this tells him that he has been training for years and yet he's still getting affected by his own abilities, he tells saito that if he were to be in a real battle, then he would have died. Kojin then notices that saito's hair is changing from black, to purple and then asks him why his hair is purple. Saito didn't even notice this and was just to sad too respond, kojin tells saito that if he keeps this up, he might as well just get lost and never come back. Kojin then leaves and tells him that he should just get lost, saito then begins to shed tears and asks himself why he cant just impress kojin no matter what he does. He says to himself that he is tired of being called a failure every time and then gets an depressed look on his face with tears dripping. He says that all he wants is for his dad to be recognized him as a strong person. One night as saito was outside sitting down looking at the moon, son taps him at the back and asks him what's wrong.Saito cleans his face and tells him that nothing is wrong at all, son then tells saito that he showed dad the amount of flames he can gather and then dad patted him and praised him. Saito who was happy with son tells him that he did a good job, he tells son that he has alot of potential and he is going to be a strong solider one day. Saito then says that he wished that dad would praise him one day. Saito then looks at son with a smile on his face and tells him that they both should do their best so that they can be very strong when they grow up, son then smiles at him saying that he'll do his best. Meanwhile in kojin's bed room, shizume walks up with some tea and tells kojin that the way he treats and insults saito is wrong and that he should stop it. Kojin looks at her with an eye and tells her to get lost, she tells him that some time she wonders how he became a lord when he treats people like trash. Kojin the tells her to shut up, shizume then says that this bad attitude of he's will bring hatred that he cant control. This makes annoyed causing him to yell at her telling her to shut up and then he hits her with a powerful amount of destructive energy which caused an explosion in the room. Saito seeing this rushes up to the stairs and as he enters the room, he see's his mom lying on the floor while kojin was standing untop of her with destructive energy(Destructive energy is black in colour which is caused by heating up energy) in his hands. He yells at shizume saying that anyone who cant manage to impress him in power or is weaker than him is a failure to him. He says that he is the lord because he is strong and powerful, he then says that saito is useless and weak and he doesn't have any potential at all. Kojin then says that if he has his way, he will drive him out or even kill him if he has to. Saito hearing this from his dad was shattered immediately with tears on his face, kojin then see's saito and tells him that he wished he never had a weakling for a child, a boy who cant use his powers is a failure. He then calls Saito "A disgrace of a son" and that at son's young age he has more potential than him. Saito hearing this had an angry expression on his face and tells kojin that he has always looked up to him and the desire to want to be like him is what drove him to keep training, saito then with a deadly look in his eyes looks at kojin and tells him that one day he will become extremely powerful and then he will kill him. Kojin then punches him to the ground and grabs him by the neck and slams him on the wall, saito then gets angry and charges towards kojin with destructive energy on his hands and punches him, but then kojin gets annoyed and hits him even harder. That same night, saito walks out of the house with hate in his eyes and says to himself that he will become very strong one day and kill kojin for making him and his mom suffer, this was the day saito decided to go down his own way. After the flashback, sorata was walking down the road of the destroyed city and then he says to himself with a smile that he will kill kojin no matter what happens. A giant beast then jumps behind him and as it was about to attack him, sorata says to himself that he will not die before that time and then blasts an inane amount of destructive energy that completely evisarates the beast.
