CHAPTER 45-WORRIES

Lexi woke up in too many massages from Valeria. Lexi read the messages and that's when she realized what was happening. She panicked and was deadly worried not just about her safety nor her family but also for Valeria.

She immediately messaged Valeria back after reading those messages.

ON THE OTHER HAND Valeria can't seem to think straight while at her work she was distracted, and disturb from the fact that Gabrielle the one who once almost killed her is now wandering around the street, maybe not in France but the fact that Gabrielle has a connection is alarming.

"Ma'am?". A voice caught the attention of Valeria who has her mind floating.

"Oh, Yeah?". Napa buklos ito at tila napa ayos ng pagkaka tayo. Kanina pa kase ito naka tingin at tulala sa kawalan na halos hindi din matapos ang ilan sa ginagawa niyang papeles.

"Madame wants you in her office". Wika ng babae at agad naman sumunod si Valeria.

"Take a seat". Wika ng bababae ng maka pasok si Valeria sa mismong room nito.

"You called for me Madame?". Tanong ni Valeria.

"We've been tracking you and we heard a news about what was happening. Seems like the man who almost killed you escaped from prison?". Valeria was shocked as she heard about those things coming out from Madames' mouth.

"Are you going to fire me?". Valeria asked.

"No silly. I decided to give you a protection, well if that's fine with you". Wika ng babae. " We always protect our employees here, so as for doing the great job I will love to offer you that". Valeria gladly accept the offer.

"We will issue a protection for you, we will fetch you every time you will go to work or come home and I will add a security on the dorm that you are staying in". Valeria smile in relief.

HOURS LATER

"Why are their so many security guard here?". Tanong ni Maria sa pinsan nito. Lalabas kase sana ang dalawa upang mamasyal ng mapansin nito ang biglang dami ng gwardya sa establishment.

"Oh, isn't that Valeria?". Wika ni Isabella.

"Why? What happened, really? She's guarded". Takang wika ni Maria.

Ng maka pasok si Valeria ay agad nag usisa ang dalawa.

"Yeah, what happened? Are you okay?". Tanong agad ni Maria kay Valeria.

"Yes, why?". Tanong naman ni Valeria dito at nagka tinginan sila.

"You're so guarded why?". Singit na tanong ni Isabella.

"Ah, Gabrielle escaped from prison. There's no news about him but I'm sure if he knew where I was he's going to hunt me". Wika ni Valeria.

"You probably should be more careful". Sabay na wika ng mag pinsan.

"I know". Tipid na sagot ni Valeria at saka nag paalam. Akmang papasok na ito sa kanyang kwarto ng maka salubong naman nito ang nakiki usyoso din na si Michael.

Nanlaki ang mata ng binata ng mapansin nito na tila nakita siya ng dalaga, halos mamula ito sa hiya dahilan upang tumakbo ito pabalik sa kaniyang silid.

On the other hand Valeria just shake her head and enter her room. She lay on her bed, full of worries she close her eyes and tried to calm herself.

"I hope I don't die in this lifetime again, not this early".
