When they both passed the main door of the academy, a glow blinded their eyes and when they regained their vision, they had appeared in an arena similar to a coliseum.
Kayla quickly became alert as she tightly gripped the spear in her hands and stood in front of Dirk, ready to protect him at any moment.
"Kayla, we have to be more careful in this test than in the previous one" Dirk spoke as he summoned a black wand from his space ring. "As far as I know, this test increases in difficulty depending on how many people are challenging it."
