Kayla smiled bitterly as she looked at the blue panel in front of her.
"Ah... In the end, you almost ended up killing me one way or another, you bastard." Kayla looked resentfully at the skeleton holding the test tube that would probably save her life.
But she didn't have much time to celebrate as she heard the diamond ape's footsteps getting closer and closer. So, gritting her teeth, she got up and approached the skeleton even though her entire body was screaming in pain.
She quickly snatched the test tube from the skeleton's hands and lunged forward, narrowly avoiding the diamond ape's blow that ended up hitting the laboratory wall.
Although luckily the place seemed to be quite resistant since it didn't collapse or anything.
Kayla gritted her teeth as she looked at the liquid inside the test tube. She had not been fast enough and failed to dodge the blow of the diamond ape's future phantom.
