AGAINST ALL ODDS: HER SUPREMACY

In a world where magic reigns supreme and men hold dominion over women, Tapiwa harbors a simple dream: to marry a devoted husband and escape the oppressive shadows of her family. Growing up in a society where polygamy thrives and sibling rivalries can be deadly, she longed for a monogamous relationship and a place of her own. Yet, the perfect life she envisioned quickly spiraled into a decade-long nightmare, leading to a painful divorce that left her feeling lost and defeated. Fleeing from her past and seeking solace away from the people she knew, Tapiwa lived a life without any purpose. However, her fate takes a remarkable turn when she saved an elderly woman, who bestowed upon her divine graces and newfound power. Armed with this celestial gift, Tapiwa embraced a second chance at life and vowed to challenge the norms that confine women to mere child bearers. Determined to empower her fellow women—mages and non-mages alike—Tapiwa embarked on a courageous quest to ensure their voices are heard and their worth acknowledged. With unwavering resolve, she fought against societal constraints and fought for a future where women can thrive as the queens they were always meant to be. In a world that sought to silence her, Tapiwa became a beacon of strength, ready to confront any obstacle that stood in her way.

CHAPTER 169: UNTITLED

Sitting in their carriage, the family of four kept on looking outside through the window checking the two exquisite carriages moving in front of them.

"My Lord, who do you think is in that carriage?" the middle-aged woman wearing a cream-brown kaftan and a matching headscarf asked her husband respectfully as soon as they were in the safe confines of their carriage.

The husband looked slightly older than the woman, with a long beard and moustache. He sat on the other side of the carriage with the son while the daughter sat next to the mother.

"From what I have seen. Those carriages somehow resembled carriages used by a certain madam I have seen once at New Dawn Inn before," the man responded while touching his long beard.

"Oh! That place? Does that mean she stays in Guche too?" the wife asked curiously.

The little girl's eyes were wide open, sparkling with interest obviously looking forward to her father's answer.
