30: The New Approach

Nate's POV

Not being able to take any more of the news I tugged one of the tv chords, snapping it in the process so that I couldn't hear more of it. The blonde lady with a face stiffened from botox had delivered her point, the town was in danger of a beast on the loose.

The police service had backed down just a little bit after they concluded that the killings were done by a monster of another species, - The cold blooded killer, us the exact term they used.

My bleary eyes blinked at the clock chiming steady and loudly on the walls I had been trying to contact Emi for three hours. Our days of negotiation, he'd decided we're long gone. After the day at the park where Alvah and I had awoped spits, he'd completely alienated me and just did whatever he wanted with my body and my mind. This made me realize how ungrateful I had been on the days where he did in fact go easy on me.
