"what is Shawn doing here?"Alex asked.

"To make my life hard maybe."I said and Alex chuckled.  He continued to kiss my neck and I giggled because it was ticklish.

"Are you still mad at me?"he asked tightening his grip on my ass and he rested his head on my shoulder.

"Do I look like I'm mad? You have to work and I can't restrict you. All I'm asking is for you to be careful with your health."I said leaning back and he brought his hands at my lower abdomen hugging me.

"Okay. I will not exhaust myself. As soon as I am done with work I'll be here."he said and I just hummed.

"Go sit in the dining room I'll be there in a minute to bring you guys breakfast."I told Alex and he perked my lips. He spanked my ass before leaving and I glared at him but he just chuckled and then left. I can't believe Alex has started to act so bold with me right now. He dares to spank me? Not that I'm complaining I liked it.

We started eating our breakfast and I kept looking at Alex's dad and Shawn. There was nothing awkward between them. With the anger Shawn came with, I wonder how he behaved with my father in law.

"So Shawn, what is it that you do?"Alex's dad asked Shawn. Okay, he knows his name, that's really good.

"I'm a model."Shawn replied.

"Really? I thought you look familiar."

"You have seen me somewhere? I mean I am just a rising star so I'm surprised."Shawn said and I'm also surprised that my father in law knows of Shawn. Like how?

"I own an entertainment company in LA and there is one time I was going through some models in US and I came through some lists and you were in them. I also read your profile and I really think you have potential. "Alex's dad said and I smiled. Alex was not even listening I guess, he didn't even look up to them. He was busy adding food in my plate as well as eating breakfast.

"Woow! I'm really excited about that. I didn't even know about that."I heard Shawn say.

"Really? So what do you say if I gave you an opportunity to work in my company. It's big enough and the salary is great."Alex's dad said and I looked at Alex who pretended not to care. I looked at Shawn next who was over the moon right now. He looked at me and I nodded at him.

"I would love to do that."Shawn said.

"Then consider yourself employed."Alex's dad said.

"Thanks so much. Wait, I am still working with the company in New York. Do I resign and then come to LA? I mean, I don't know what to do right now. I've never been in LA and the only place I'm used to is New York city."

"You don't have to resign it or move in LA. You can just be coming when you are needed. Or when you are sure of what you want you can call me. Alex has my number so there is no pressure."

"Okay. I'll tell you what I decide." Shawn said and Alex's dad nodded.

Alex and I have not said a word in the dining table. I was listening to the conversation between Shawn and my father in law and according to how they are talking I doubt Alex's dad heard my conversation with Shawn in the kitchen. Or maybe he heard but he chose to let it go or maybe he's just a cool dad of which with no doubt he is.

Alex stood up and announced he's leaving. I stood too at least to walk him out but before we left his dad called Alex. We turned around to look at him to hear what he has to say.

"I'm leaving today."he announced and I didn't know what to say. I looked at Alex to hear what he has to say but he just looked at his dad with that emotionless face he gives people."aren't you gonna say something?"his dad asked.

"I don't have anything to say. If you are leaving then it's fine. I am going to work and ooh.. greet mom for me. Tell her I'll be visiting soon and maybe you can tell Melissa to call me. We have talked a lot I don't need to talk to you again."Alex said and I gave him a be nice look. He can't be serious he doesn't care his dad is leaving.

"You have not changed son. You are only nice to your wife only."his dad complained and I saw the look Shawn gave me. Great, now I have alot to answer." Anyway I'm used to it. I just wanted to let you know I'm leaving. I need your assistant to bring me clothes so do the necessary."he said and Alex nodded then he left and I followed behind him.

"Alex, you could have been nice."I told him when we reached the door.

"No I don't. As long as anybody is not you then I don't care that much." he said and I sighed. He won't listen so I just tiptoed and I kissed his cheek but before I went down he pulled me up and he kissed my lips.

"That's enough Alex. Go to work now and oh.. Andrew had called earlier when you were in the shower. I forgot to tell you."I said.

"Okay. I love you."

",I love you too and don't forget to do what your dad said ."I said and he nodded and then left. I closed the door and went back to the dining room to only meet Shawn.

I went and I started gathering the dishes to take them to the kitchen." The least you could do to thank me for the breakfast is at least help wash the dishes."I told Shawn going to the kitchen.

"What did the rest do to thank you?"he asked and I stopped and looked at him.

"You are so petty asshole. He's my father in law, I mean Alex's dad and then Alex is busy while there is you who is just so not busy."I told him.

"I'm a guest in this house. I don't have to do that. Furthermore, what is that I'm hearing about father in law and wife. What did you not tell me apart from the fact that Alex proposed yesterday that I came to know because of the news all over?"he asked and I sighed and left to the kitchen. I don't have time for this. I need to start cleaning the rooms upstairs.

"What the hell Kim?"I heard Shawn say from the kitchen door but I continued cleaning the dishes. After I was done I cleaned the kitchen all the while Shawn watching me.

"What do you want Shawn? If you could have come to me a little nicer maybe I could have told you. But you just come to me as if I killed someone. That's what the hell is."I said and passed him and left him in the kitchen.

"I'm sorry then. I'm sorry can we please sit down and talk."he said from behind me and I stopped smiling. It's rare for Shawn to apologize and I feel on top right now for hearing his apology.

"Okay. What do you want to know?"I asked him.

"I don't know what to ask."he said and I chuckled." I just came to see how you are doing. After the news yesterday, then you were not picking your phone and the fight the other day with us and Alex, I really thought that you maybe not be fine. Everything happened so fast and I have been worried about you. "He said and I raised a brow at him.

"Why did you come with the rudeness then?"I asked him.

"Because... I wanted for you to maybe apologize for not picking my phone calls. Do you know how it sucks when you are worried about someone and then when you call that person they are not picking?. It really sucks and I was so mad so is Andy."

"I'm sorry then. You just needed my apology and there it is. I wanted to call you guys today."
