Chapter eight:Annie
"oh aren't you the nurse from the hospital"
"Ah ah she just a lowly nurse what right does she have to see our handsome CEO"
"What do you think may she just ones of those girl used and dumped by our CEO but ended up thinking she's someone's important ah and about laughing to death"
"Just look at he dressed like a slut looking for men to hook up with does she see our company as a club"
Annie Hering the voice of people around looking and pointing at her saying all sort of demeaning thing about her was trembling so much and was about to faint from anger.
"Just you wait till James comes out I will have him fire all of you"
"Ah am about to be angered by death who does she think she is"
Another person said looking indignant.
"Miss Annie do you have an appointment with sir Jame"Beaty asked looking at her codly.
"Hmm just call James and tell him am hear and him will personally come and pick me up "
Annie sneered lifting her chin up like a proud peacock.
"Miss Annie am afraid you have to book an appointment first "
Beaty said trying to sound as polite as possible.
"Are you also on their side just wait until I see James, anyway am not leaving until I see him"
"Assistant Beaty is so kind and patient if it were the be me I would have called security on her long ago"
"That's about right"
The girl next to the first girl said echoing the previous girl's word.
"Beaty let me tell you go and call James for me or I won't let you off easily"Annie sneered.
Beaty sighed heavily she was already having an headache from all the shouting.
"What's going on here" a cold voiced rang from behind the crowd.The whole became unusually silent even Annie who was behaving like a shrew few minutes ago was rooted the same spot starring blankly at James who has knowingly appeared at a point.
"James!!!"
Annie shouted and rushed towards James like a chicken in heat but beg she can even touch his sleeve,James dogged by the side in time to avoid her touching him.
"What's going on"James repeat but this time looking at Beaty showing that was asking for an explanation of what was going on.
"Wah.... wah.... James baby"Annie begin crying.
The rest of the people looked at her in disgust wondery 'wasn't she the same person bossing people around few minutes ago so why was she the same person crying'
"Babe they....."Annie explained what happened to James in a breath and started crying again.
"James they were so mean to me I want you to fire all of them wah..."Annie continued crying and fussing around.
"Is that so"James said with a cold smirk and glace around and then this cold gaze landed on the receptionist who immediately froze and broke out in cold sweat thinking 'oh no could there really be a relationship between these two'
Annie notice this and become more proud "Hmm baby you have to throw this receptionist out she can't even read the writing on the wall,what if she end up offending a big client,you will end up incurring a big loss"
"You are right "with his head bent looking like he was really contemplating about her words seriously.
'oh is the point I get fired ' the re tionist thought looking like she will cry any moment from now.
"Hey could there really be something going on with this slutty woman and our handsome and capable CEO "
"I hope there nothing serious or else we are all done for this time "
"You are still talking don't you care whether they can true you or haven't you thought about that" other person reminded them on a very low voice.
"Throw her out " James cold voice rang out again.
"Yes sir "
The security was about grabbing the receptionist when Annie scared again "hmmm that's about right"
"Of course if she had called the security to throw you out earlier she won't be throw out in your stead"
"Yes exactly if...." Annie about about to boast when she noticed something was wrong with James sentence and shoot him a look.
"What do you mean"
"A mad woman like you was making a commotion disturbing an office environment this way and instead of calling security to throw you out she was busy coaxing you"
"Ha ha ha am about laughing to death"
"Ah my heart our CEO look so handsome at this moment that my heart can't take it"
"Of course our CEO is always the strictest when it comes to work and anything related to it"
The girls from earlier began snickering again because they knew that James doesn't take Annie serious or else he wouldn't make such comments about her.
"James I thought you said last time the hospital that we..."
"And so does that give you the right to barge in here and do as you please,who do you think you are,are you worth it? James said looking at her indifferently.
"James you.. y....out wah wah..!"Annie covered her mouth crying and ran out of the company.
"Serves her right"the first girl said looking satisfied at Annie's crying and disheveled state while running out.
James haze swept over the girl and other standing around "seems like you guys don't want to work Hmm"
Every body immediately fled on hearing these.
Beaty looked at them and her mouth twitched.
"Let's go for lunch first before leaving"James said and start walking towards the exit and Beaty followed behind.
Few minutes later James and Beaty were sitting opposite each other near the second floor of the Dinners restaurant by the widow facing a vase essence of beautiful blue sea.
It's a good view and very nice for a romantic date but the two people sitting were just waiting for their order while playing with their phones.
"Your order" their order finally arrived.
"Thank you" Beaty gently smiling at the waiter.
"Hmm" the waiter skilled and quickly rushed out but if you look closely you would notice a faint blush on his face.
James looked at the waiter's back coldly and retract his gaze looking gently at Beaty "let's eat Beaty"
"Okay"
