Chapter 27: Filming Get Out

Kevin's expression turned awkward, not expecting Cage to come up with such a colloquial phrase.

Seeing this, Kevin didn't hesitate to take a slice of the cut pizza and started eating.

Lying on the couch, Kevin casually asked, "Cage, don't you have any movie projects recently?"

Cage shook his head and said, "I've been taking a break for about a year now. The films that approach me either offer too low of a salary or have terrible scripts, so I'm not interested."

"Would you like to join me in filming a big-budget commercial film next year?"

"Aren't you currently filming 'Get Out'?" Cage asked, puzzled.

Kevin took a bite of the pineapple pizza, savoring this special food for the Chinese, equivalent to dumplings filled with pineapple stuffing, and leisurely said, "I'm talking about the next project after 'Get Out'."

"'Get Out' is just a low-budget film with a simple plot. Two months will be enough for it."

"I still have half a year to spare, so I'll start another one."

Cage just chuckled, not paying much attention to it.

"Alright, I'll just send you the script when the time comes."

Kevin nodded, and the project he mentioned was none other than the Marvel character Ghost Rider.

Leaving everything else aside, the first Ghost Rider film did bring back some good memories for Kevin. It could be considered a cool commercial film.

The image of Cage as Ghost Rider had always lingered in his mind.

However, it was just a sudden thought that arose upon seeing Cage. He would need to investigate the rights to Ghost Rider more carefully after finishing the filming of Get Out and determine if the current special effects can meet Kevin's requirements.

After all, Ghost Rider was released in 2002, and there was a ten-year gap in special effects technology from then till now.

He wasn't sure if it could be successfully made into a film.

Kevin's face lit up with a smile. Although he didn't feel lonely as others might imagine, he was still happy to have someone to spend Christmas with.

"Kevin, I'm here to spend Christmas with you... Who are you?"

With a joyful smile and bags of gifts, Angelina Jolie appeared at the door. She had left a few days ago, filled with the excitement of surprising Kevin today.

In Kevin's and her villa, there was a strange woman present.

"Salma Hayek, the female lead in Saw," Salma Hayek confidently reached out her hand and shook hands with Angelina Jolie.
