The people present looked at Siesta, who, even if now embarrassed and afraid, didn't stop looking at Aegis, who now guessed what was happening.

"T-thats heresai! Brimir is sole god!"

Louise said, but somehow Aegis could feel that the pink-haired girl didn't truly feel it, or rather, she just phrased someone she heard, Aegis guessed that if this world was built around faith, especially this strong, it was no surprise that even the non-real believers would try to sound like ones, especially the ones in higher position...

"M-My lord! Si-Siesta of Tarbes, t-the descendant of E-Edric Storm! The Sentinel C-Captain! T-To your service!"

Siesta said, not caring about others as she kneeled before Aegis, her gaze down...

Aegis ignored the whispering or the outright angry shouting, Aegis saw some enraged-looking boy come to Siesta as if wishing to harm her, as such, Aegis just pushed a little.

"Urrrrghhhh!"

The blonde boy collapsed on the ground in pain, as panicked screams were heard, Aegis ignored the orange-haired girl, that seemed to immediately shield the purple-haired girl in royal robes as he still watched Siesta.

"Interesting... So there he ended, hm?"

Aegis hummed, and after Siesta said the name, Aegis immediately knew who she spoke about, Aegis remembered the names of all his fallen soldiers or the ones who went MIA...

And Edric Storm, a junior Captain who went missing on his first action, not even two days before, it seemed that his lost Captain ended in past of this world, Aegis didn't know why exactly he ended up in there but...

"Is my Captain still alive?"

Aegis asked Siesta.

"N-No... Grandfather d-died six years ago..."

"Died? How? I don't sense any danger in this plane that could pose a threat to Captain, even if junior one and age don't play a role as any citizen had their life span prolonged."

Aegis hummed in thought as Siesta nodded her head, still looking down, but some of her nervousness was gone.

"G-grandfather s-said that b-because of his injuries h-his life span was enormously sh-shortened..."

Injuries? Aegis hummed in thought, but then Edric Storm went missing in one of Horror Earth's, combating one of the Evil specters, so it was possible...

"Did he have a good life in there?"

Aegis changed the topic.

"Y-yes?"

Siesta unsurely said as she was still confused by the sudden change of topic.

"Then that's all matters... Come, let's find a place to sit, and you can tell me of your grandfather, of my loyal Sentinel, as I can see he taught you a lot."

Aegis said gently, to Siesta, for what was Siesta, who was a direct granddaughter of his loyal subordinate who seemed to belong to God-King faith...

Summer and Ruby were ignoring all but themselves as they spoke, even if Aegis could sometimes feel the gaze of the mature silver-eyed woman on him.

Others seemed to silently follow them, even against the protests of the orange-haired girl, who seemed to not want the purple-haired girl to go close to Aegis, especially after Aegis show of force on the boy who still lay on the ground in pain...

"Huh..."

Aegis hummed after Siesta told him or them about her grandfather, as Aegis and Siesta weren't alone, the girls from previously were there too, red-haired, blue-haired, purple-haired, orange-haired, pink-haired, both Roses, and newcomers, being one bald man, one wizened man with a beard, and woman with green hair...

Aegis didn't speak to them, but when they came and seemed to want to interrupt Siesta's storytelling, Aegis warned them with one look and little of his presence, making them all widen their eyes in fright as they felt enormous danger...

"Do you wish to move to Solitas with your entire family? As descendants of my people, you deserve nothing more than the best, and I can see that you don't get it in there."

Aegis easily said, making Siesta widen her eyes, but then she looked at the pink-haired girl Louise and Summer as she nervously looked back at Aegis.

"C-can I think it through?"

"Yes, you can."

Aegis said with a smile as he patted the dark-haired girl's head, making her make the sound of eeep.

"So, introductions, as I said previously, my name is Aegis Schnee, the king of Solitas, and for many, their God-King Of Mankind, my kingdom presides on another world as you could already guess from little Siesta's story, so don't try to think too deeply about it."

Aegis said with a smile.
