Quentin had surprised her in one regard. She'd expected him to take her to the police or straight to Langley. Instead, they were driving away from the city and into stretches of nowhere.
That's what she would have expected the man she'd left in DC to do.
However, something had changed in him over the two months since she'd seen him. She was curious.
