Chapter 9: With Knowledge

"A test?!!". Lu Feng was surprised to hear that.

"Yes" Said Long Lin with a cool tone as though it was nothing.

"What kind of a test do I need to take?. Is it a combat battle or spirit battle or is it any kind of exam?" Lu Feng got anxious as he was in a hurry to know what kind of test he has to take so he questioned one after another.

"Haha calm down kid. Relax will you.. it's not the kind of test you are thinking. The test is about your knowledge" Long Lin laughed seeing Lu Feng getting panicked and explained him about the test.

"My knowledge?!!.. what does inheritance and cultivation have to do anything with the knowledge?" Lu Feng confused and asked his doubts.

"Ofcourse it has everything to do with it, you silly.

Let me explain without any knowledge how can one know how to use his cultivation and spiritual power. And for what purpose they are using it for.

And how do we use it and advance to pinnacle of the cultivation world...huh tell me"

"Without knowledge and also morality having great cultivation and powers is nothing.

Yes.. the world is cruel where the strong rules over weak.

But that doesn't mean we misuse the powers that was bestowed by the heavens ,just because everyone does that".

Said Long Lin.

Lu Feng went into a daze on hearing that.

Yes what he said was correct. Damn it ,falling from that height must have made me a bit dumb.

The world may be cruel but that doesn't mean I should become cruel too. So what Long Lin is basically saying that he doesn't want his powers to be passed on to someone evil.

So that's why he wanted test my knowledge and reasoning whether that I'm worthy enough to receive his inheritance of Cultivation.

If I had to say that I'm confident in anything then that'd be definitely knowledge.

Since I have no cultivation base and practically a normal human being. I spent my most of my time spent on reading books.

I have read so many books...that I'm pretty sure I must've read all books in azure province.

So,now I'm prepared for anything.

"Well ...are you done thinking?"

Asked Long Lin with a slight chuckle to Lu Feng.

Lu Feng blinked his eyes and came out of his thoughts.

Taking a deep breath he said..

"I'm ready for the test".

Long Lin observed Lu Feng for few minutes in silent as though he wants to confirm his answer.

"Well... let's get you treated first.

Since you'll need to be active while taking the test". As he said, Long Lin waved his hands towards Lu Feng as slight wind flowed at him making his hair wave.

And suddenly Lu Feng completely healed and wounds on his body from head to toe completely disappeared as there wasn't any wounds in the first place.

"T-this...h-how did you do that"

Lu Feng asked him in a surprised but joyfull tone.

"Hehe ...it's a piece of cake for me"

"Now shall we start your test...
