"You attacked me and somehow you are the one who is angry. Now isn't that ironic?" I snapped at the boy who walked into the deep forest. Following him, we walked on in silence for minutes before getting into a clearing. A small cave loomed ahead of us with a strange purple fire burning in it.
"We can stay here for the night," he whispered. "I'll get you something to eat."
All of a sudden he was nice to me, what was going on?
"Don't think too hard on it, that's my way of apologizing for being an arse out on the beach."
"Apology accepted," I smiled getting into the cave with him.
The carvings on the walls of the cave still looked new. From the smell in the air to the undisturbed sand in different parts of the cave, I could tell that he was not the original owner of this place. He had only recently discovered it.
"You're lost," I confirmed sitting across the fire from him.
