"Gillfidor stop this at once!" I yelled pushing against the invisible forces which still held me in place.
"I can't hear you over the screams of the poor greenhorn," he chuckled, getting me more riled up than ever. "Just give me the orb and let me follow through with my plans and I would release your puny human."
Her screams started to get even louder as the smell of burning flesh hit my nose.
"Gillfidor, please let her go. I don't know where the orb is or what the orb is. Please let her go, I'm begging you."
"Is that right?" he asked, rubbing his palms together.
"Yes," I nodded. "I seriously don't know."
"If that is how it is, then I shall heed to your pleas of letting the girl go," with a snap of his fingers and an evil smirk to boot, the girl's neck snapped as she fell limp on the stake.
