Chapter 11: Goberin's First Fight

"Huhhh... So even when it was back into a corner, it still struggled..."

"That's how creatures would normally react anyway... while in danger they either run away or fight to their last breath..."

"And also this Hector guy. He sounded hella strong! I mean, he took on the dragon all by himself when you were thrown away!"

"Hehehe... Yeah... He was our strongest in the squad. Even though he was a tank, he could easily switch to main fighter when I was down and out"

"But... Why did you have title Dragon Slayer anyway? Didn't Hector do all the work?"

"Oh ho... I had decided to give him the title when we finished resting and all healed up but when I said that he laughed it off and responded with 'Bahahaha! Me? A title!? Don't be serious, leader! Weren't you the one giving out orders and gave us something to do against that fricking beast? And besides... I don't need any stinking titles, I'm about to retire anyway and you were the one who got the finishing blow on that beast! Bahahaha!'"

"What a cheerful man!"

"Hehe... Yep and right after that I rode on a horse informing to the closest Guild and got them to take the Obsidian's corpse back and bam! We were rich and well known for being a group of B-rank nobody to A-rank in no time!"

"Huh? They didn't promote you up to S-rank for taking down an S-rank monster down that quickly?"

"It doesn't work that way kid but we did climb our way up to S-rank one year later though, it sure was a ride. Being on the top and having loads of cash..."

Goberin stares at Troy in awe while gapping his mouth wide open.

*Chuckle* "Welp, that was story wasn't it? Now shouldn't we get back to our training?"

"Yes, master Troy!"

"Those little and skinny Goblin's arms won't help you if you don't train them. Now swing that wooden sword! We won't get food until you get a good hit on me!"

"Sooo existing!!!"

A couple of hours and an exhausted Goblin later...

*Panting* *Panting*

"So... So hard! I can feel my muscles giving out on me..."

"Hehe..."

"Can I like... fight a monster or something?"

"You sure you're ready for that?"

"Hey! Don't underestimate me! At least I got something of a technique going for me!"

"Well well, getting a bit ahead of yourself now... See that Mineral Slime over there?"

Troy then pointed his finger at a nearby rustling bush as a grey slime slides out of it.

"Ohhh! A slime! One of the weakest monster right to ever exist right?"

Troy gave out an evil chuckle "Hahaha... Of course! Why don't you go and try to beat that weakling?"

"Yes, master!"

A wild grey Slime jiggles forward!

Goberin readies his small dagger at his waist.

"Hehe, Slime you don't know what's about to becometh of you! Watch as I perform my secret technique!"

"*jiggle sounds*"

"Continental Slashhhhh!!!"

Goberin moves in with his dagger slicing downward. But the grey Slime turns into some kind of liquid and shaping itself into an arrow swiftly dodging Goberin feeble attack.

"W-What?"

Goberin was a bit confused. It went behind him and leapt into the air. It turns its belly into a golden colour as its weight begins to multiply. Goberin turns around but it was all too late the grey Slime then does his special move "Mineral Body Slam" and our poor little Goblin's face got crushed by it down onto the ground.

"*Jiggle sounds!!!*" The grey Slime does a little wiggle of victory on the body of Goberin, it then jiggles away into the wilderness.

"O-Ouch... That Slime was super hard! No wonder Kokoharu was struggling with it when Troy told his tale..." Goberin wakes up from his sleep and looks around. After noticing that sun was setting and how there's a campire here for him. He was sure that Troy was tending to his need and now he's nowhere to be found.

"Huh... You know what? This world isn't bad... I guess I should stop thinking of it like a game and live to my fullest! Yeah! That's what I'm gonna do!"

Goberin then laughs out loud and then stops to think "Hmm... If there are more person like Kokoharu that are here with me... Then it shouldn't be hard to find others, yeah! I need to ask Troy to take me to her!"

*Leaves from a bush rustling*

"Eeeeek!! W-Who goes there!? T-Troy, is that you?"

"It's me, it's me... I was taking a piss"

"Ah *Phew* You scare me honestly!"

"So... Did you enjoy your little fight?" Troy smirked.

"As if! You're my master right? So why didn't you warn me!"

"Masters gotta teach their students right? Well I did teach you through that Mineral Slime, didn't I? So next time you fight, don't underestimate enemies got it?"

"Thank you, finally a good tip... So um, I have a question!"

"Ask away Goberin"

"Um... Is there like some sort of capital? I heard from our Goblin King that there are multiple Kingdoms that surrounds two capitals, right? But he said he wasn't familiar with the names of them"

"There are currently two existing capitals... That is true! Let's see here... Hmmm"
