Chapter 55 Planning, Asking for Help

Shocked with sudden declaration from Melwin, Kanda couldn't helped to ask Melwin: "Captain?...What do you mean by that, Melwin? Though I liked with that title."

The one whose replied to his question is Eris where she said: "Kanda, you had been accepted by Kuune to act as her substitute where the bell belonged to her which symbolizes her rank had went to you. Therefore, you had been officially nominated as our captain just like what had been said by First Officer."

"How much authority can I use when I holding this rank?" Asked Kanda while touching the bell at his neck.

"You can do anything to us, Ichijou, even 'those' actions that you had done with your girlfriends. Your order is our highest priority which all of us need to do at any cost." Replied Durel to his inquiry.

"Hoho...So, I could ask anything to all of you. Even you, Dr. Durel?" Asked Kanda while he looking at Durel's alluring figure though her figure had been covered by her lab coat.

"Of course. Do you want to try it, Ichijou?" Replied Durel while crossing her arms under her breasts which stand out her asset more.

"Ho..." Kanda gazes intensely at Durel which cause Manami to pull his ear and Aoi pinches at his side. He said: "Ow ow ow...It's hurt, Manami, Aoi, I'm just kidding about it." where in his mind: "hehehe...maybe I will ask her later but first, I need to be serious."

"What do you grinning about, Kanda?" Asked Manami as Kanda still had a grin on his face.

His grin disappears quickly which he said: "Nothing at all, Manami. I'm just trying to think a plan for our rescue mission later."

Manami scrutinised at his face for a moment before she retracted her gaze back from him which Kanda lets out a sigh of relief when she looks away.

Back to his serious looks, Kanda said: "Anyway, as your new captain, I order all of you to act just like usual with me as I don't really care about this official stuff."

"Yes, sir" Replied Melwin and her crewmates in this room where they sitting again.

After looking at the catgirls as they had been seated, Kanda starts to talk: "Before we thinking some plans to rescue the Catians at the main ship, I want to know a few things beforehand. First, can we detect the main ship's current whereabouts and even its final destination? Second, How many of our forces could be gathered by us either from Catians' side or our side including the Assistroids? Third, Is there anything we could use to fight with Jens except for the newly created weapon prototypes as I want to use it as a last resort?"

"We could detect our ship after Chaika makes some modification to our tracker as my current tracker couldn't track the ship's location maybe due to interference from Jens. Can you do the changes for the tracker as soon as possible, Chaika?" Replied Melwin before she looks at Chaika's direction.

"Of course. Just leave it to me." Chaika replied while patting her small chests. She takes the tracker device from Melwin before she going to the small table that had been placed inside the room. Multiple tools coming out from her hands as she make modification to the device.

Melwin continues her talking: "For our forces, in my sides, there are three teams of our experts which had been lead by Raven, Hawk, and Swallow for each team and there is 5 personnel in the team including them. They had been stationed here as your support so they are the only one we have from my side. How about your side, Antonia-san?" Melwin looking at Antonia.

"Hmm...I don't know specific numbers for my forces but I could say that I have a large forces to be used by us." Replied Antonia before she looks at Maya and said: "Maya...what is the full details for our forces?"

"We have 70 battle maids excluding me and Sarah where 15 of those maids had been stationed here and another 5 had been tasked to guard Kinjou Asami. Claris and her team also had not been included into the forces as she had belonged to Kanda-sama. We have another 30 maids-in-training that had been stationed at our old mansion. If Antonia-sama want to include them in our forces, I could call them to come immediately." Explained Maya to her master.

"What do you think that I need to do, Kanda-niisan?" Asked Antonia to him.

"Just call all of them to come here, Antonia-chan, and gathered them at your house as I don't think my house could hold that much forces." Replied him to her.

"Alright, Kanda-niisan. Maya...call them to come here and put them in our place first and ready for Kanda-niisan's next instruction." Antonia nods her head before said that.

"Yes, Antonia-sama." Replied Maya short before she takes out a satellite phone from her dress and making a call.

"For the weaponry, what we have right now, Melwin, Antonia-chan?" Asked Kanda to the both of them.

"Well, on our side, we could make anti-matter weapon though we couldn't infinitely creating those weapons as we only taking those out from our storage in this bell where the materials for those type of weapons had been stored inside here. Next, we don't have any long-ranged weapons as we usually fight in close combat though we could modified it using this planet's weapons." Replied Melwin as she stated her details on the armament.

"Alright, I understand, Melwin. I will give some materials to you later so you can make some changes to your weaponry." Kanda said to Melwin where she nods at his words. He looks at Maya as she had finished her call and said: "Maya...How about your armament's status on your side?"

"Excluding weapons from Kanda-sama's idea, we have about hundreds of military knives, hundreds of different types of firearms likes assault rifles such as AK-101 and FN SCAR-L and sniper rifles such as Steyr HS .50. We have numerous amount of grenades in our armory though we don't if those grenades had any effect to the enemies as they also had been upgraded to withstand our weaponry." Explained Maya to Kanda.

"It's ok, Maya. We could cooperate with the Catians to upgrade those weapons and I also will ask one of my acquaintances here to help us to counter Jens's forces." Kanda said that after replied to Maya's explanation.

"Who is it your friend, Kanda?" Asked Aoi curiously.

"She is the one that I had talked about before where she could manufacture those talisman that had been used by Jens." Replied Kanda.

"She? Is it your another girl, Kanda?" Manami asked him while looking at him intensely.

Hearing Manami's words, all of his girls also looking at his face with questioning looks on their face.

"No-Not at all, Manami. She just only an acquaintance to me where I only looking at her as a little sister like Antonia-chan here." Kanda said that hurriedly to Manami.

Manami and other girls looks at his face for awhile before looking away as she said: "...Fine, Kanda. We will trust you for now."

Seeing the topic about his acquaintance has ended, he quickly calling his friend with his communication device where he had talked with her for a while before ending his call with her after had informed her to come at his location later while bringing the objects that had been ordered by him in the call.

After seeing his call had ended, Eris asked him: "Kanda, what we will use to transport all of our forces later as I don't think that our spacecraft could carry that huge numbers of people?"

"Hmm...that's right, Eris, I forget about that. Thank you for reminding me. What should I do?" Kanda thanked her before he starts to think by himself.

Durel gives her opinion as she had seen that Kanda still in his thought. She said: "How about use the function that had been installed in that bell, Ichijou?"

Kanda gets out from his thought and said: "What is the function that you had talked about, Dr. Durel?"

"Compare to the earring that had been given to you, that personal bell could give you the ability to manipulate materials to create any objects as long as you have sufficient materials for the objects that you need to create." Replied her to Kanda.

"Other than that function, is there any functions that I need to remember?" Asked Kanda at her.

"Let see...you could give your command to other Catians below your Captain rank. Next, you could changes your body to any type of living beings as long as you have enough understanding about those living beings." Replied Durel.

"So, you say that I could changes into Catians like you or Dogisians like Jens. " Kanda said that to her.

"Of course. However, you need to understand our physical structures carefully if not, you will only have the features of cat ears and cat tail which is not the same like us and you will only looks like a cosplayer. " Replied Durel.

"Hmm...so I'm only become like Antonia-chan here and not like Eris and Melwin though we have those cat ears and tail." Kanda said to her.

"You can say like that." Durel said that short.

"Nevermind, I will ask about Catians's autonomy with you later, Durel. For now, I need to find the materials to make a ship for us so we could go to the space later. Maya...can you call 'that' friend of yours? Tell her that I need the materials to make a ship if she asks the reasons for your call. For now, we need to eat first so we could think better when our stomach had been filled." Kanda ordered Maya which she nods her head before she make a call.

Kanda and others going downstairs to eat the meal that had been prepared by Claris where the presence of her make his life easier as she took the job to take care the house.

As they eating, Maya coming to Kanda's side after she ended her call and said: "Kanda-sama, I had called her and she said that she will try her best to find any materials for you to make a ship as long as she had the list of materials that you need for."

"Alright, I will give you that list later after I finished the meal here." Replied Kanda at her before he looks at her face where she had hesitant looks on her face which cause him to speak: "What is it, Maya? Is there anything you need to say at me?"

Maya hesitated, unsure to say or not before she reaffirmed her choice and said: "After I talked with her about your request, she had asked me to inform you to compensate her for your request. She said that she want 'as usual' for her payment when I had asked her about the payment."

Kanda becomes silent as he listened to Maya's word which cause him to sigh before he said: "Fine, tell her that I will go to her location later to give her payment as I also want to see those materials as well."

"Yes, Kanda-sama." Replied Maya before she makes a call again.

"What is the payment that you had talked with Maya-san, Kanda?" Asked Aoi at him.

"It's nothing, Aoi. I just need to give something at her friend later." Replied Kanda at Aoi where he did not want to talk about it.

"Is it an indecent action with you and her?" Asked Manami at him while she set her gaze on him.

"Not at all, Manami. Just let's finish this meal and I will bring you to meet her later." Replied him denied her claim.

They had finished the meal after an hour where Kanda going to meet Maya's friend after that. Everyone except for Melwin, Durel, and 15 battle maids are going with him to his destination. The people whose stayed at home had to guard Kuune as they could not let her defenseless without anyone with her. Kanda told Melwin that if his acquaintance had come to his house, he had asked Melwin to invite her inside the house and call him or sent her to his location later.
