Chapter 14: 100 Wolf Tempering Pill

After a while they were still walking through the forest without finding a good spot// Senior Azure did you still not find a good spot ?// // No young Nie, all the areas we found until now only had 2 of the 3 requirements that I need for the perfect place to create this Pill // Says Azure in a discouraging tone while still searching around.

//What are the requirements for the place Senior Azure ? Maybe I can somewhat help to find one ?// says Nie in an honest tone.// You can´t help because your Cultivation is too low, but I still can tell you the requirements. The First Requirement is that the place must be able to acquire the Light of the moon in all of its phases, the Second Requirement is that it needs to be a place filled with a great amount of Natural qi and the Third and most difficult Requirement is that there can't be any demonic energy be in a 300 Meter radius //

Nie listens carefully to what Azure has to say and begins to think // Do you mean with no Demonic Energy that there can't be any Demonic beast ?// Azure nods and then looks around // But because of the death of the Ruler a lot of demonic beasts began to move around and leave great amounts of demonic energy everywhere. I think it may have not been a good idea to search now for a place and create a pill, we should have waited for it even if it means that the demonic core's energy would lessen and the bloods quality get worser.//

//No Senior Azure, it was not a bad idea because we don´t know how long this will last. We will find the perfect place// Nie says towards Azure through their mind Link.

Azure begins to smile again //Right we will find it. *Sigh* it is funny how a youngling like you remembers me to not give up, am I just too old ?// He asks himself and only a few moments later do both of them begin to laugh.

After they calmed down they return to their search of finding the perfect place without noticing that someone is following them. A person completely clothed in dark clothes and with an Oni Mask.

This Person takes out a Token and begins to talk with it. " Master it seems that something is wrong with the Target, looks like his mind is not working completely fine because he randomly begins to laugh and his face is Changing its expression quite often. Shall I continue to follow them or do you think that is no longer worth it ?" Ask the Person and wait for an answer but no answer came for a period of time. But then the Person in black just nods " Understood I will continue my task"

While this person talked with his Master did Azure und Nie finally found the Perfect place. A hidden Spring behind hills and trees. The spring was 1000 Meter wide and in the middle was a small stone island. The Natural qi of the surrounding is so dense that even the water was filled with it and was only one step away from becoming spiritual water.

//Young Nie this Place is perfect and its natural qi is so great that even you should be able to feel it// // Yes Senior Azure I can feel and it is great. I think if I were to cultivate here I would make great progress// Nie says while smiling and looking around. // Yes it would but you are still too weak for it. This natural qi is so pure that your body wouldn't be able to handle it because it is way above the qi that you have used until now and when your technique turns it automatically into the purification energy it will burn you from inside out//

Nie shivered when he starts to think about how it would feel when he burns from the inside out, right now he is using his knowledge to somewhat lessen the pain while acquiring greater benefits but this should not be the way and Nie knows that. If Nie would increase the pain he would receive he wouldn´t only be able to temper his mind more quickly he even would be faster in cultivation because the pain is a sign of change in his body.

// Why am I thinking about it? I can barely endure the pain that I receive while cultivating. The pain I would receive if cultivated here would kill me because it would burn me from the inside out.// Nie sighs and collects himself again. // Now senior Azure can we begin with creating the Pills ? //

Azure leaves Nie's Body and then takes all the Materials. " Yes we can, follow me" Then azure began to fly over the spring while carrying Nie towards the small island in the middle. " Here it is truly perfect no Demonic Energy in a radius of 1000 Meters and such a great amount of spiritual qi. Now I think I can begin refining the Pills"

He then moved his hand towards the Wolf Heart Herb and began to draw out a strange greenish liquid from the inside. The More liquid he took from the Herbs the more the appearance of the Herb changes, in the beginning it looked healthy and full of life but only a few seconds did it look like it lacked nutrition in its grow period.

10 seconds later it looked like it would wither away at any moment and some of its leaves already fell off, and right after that and another 10 seconds did the herb turn into dust. Azure continues this with all Herbs while carefully merging the new liquid with each other so that they harmonize.

After he finished the Wolf Heart herb he took out the blood and created a small hole in the ground, he then engraved strange symbols in the hole. Nothing happens at first but then the hole created a bowl made of energy and Azure put the liquid in it.

Right after he finished it, did he mix a small amount of qi with the liquid and then let a drop of blood flow out of the bag and mixed it slowly with the liquid. This mix of greenish liquid, colorless qi and Red blood changed the Color of the liquid and slowly turned it into a brownish color which slowly began to brighten up and then turned into yellow

"Until now everything is going as planned, young Nie can you take out the Beast core and slowly rub it against this stone and turn it into a powder?" Ask Azure while creating a strange stone for Nie and continues the mixing of blood drops, Qi and the liquid of the herb.

Nie doesn't really understand why he should turn it in dust but then does it and begins to rub it against the stone. At the beginning it looked easy but he quickly learned that the energy of the Beast core is creating a resisting force so that he can't damage it but luckily the strange stone helped him with that. The strange stone had the ability to lessen the resting force in the core.

"How much shall I turn into powder Senior azure" Ask Nie after he finally got a hand on it after 15 minutes of rubbing it against the stone." Please turn ¼ of it into powder " he says but he isn´t looking at Nie and his voice is not really understandable because he is focusing on the liquid.

After Azure finished ¼ of the blood, did he begin the same process that he did with the Wolf Heart herb with the Eclipse Mushroom, but this time the liquid was not green but pure black. Again the Mushroom that looked healthy at first turned into a version with not enough nutrition and 10 seconds after that into a somewhat dried up version and then again after 10 seconds into dust.

While he began to take out the liquid he already started to fuse it with the liquid in the bowl even adding one drop of blood for every three drops of black liquid.

This mix of liquid turned the yellowish liquid slowly into an orange liquid which gave off a strange aura. Azure slowly lifted his head and looked towards Nie. "Add some of the Core powder in 10 seconds from now on Understood ?" Azure says while slowly moving the bowl towards Nie and continuing adding the black liquid and the Blood.

Nie began to count in his head until he reached 10 and then added some powder, at the beginning nothing happened and Nie though he did something wrong but Azure didn´t stop so Nie continued with adding the Pulver every 10 seconds.

All this was a long and exhausting work that without Nie and Azure noticing the night already fell and the moon began to rise. Nie slowly lost himself in his work of grinding the core and adding the powder that he didn't care about anything anymore he was in a strange state of mind, making him not able to notice that the Liquid slowly began to change again.

This time it did not only change in color it even had a strange symbol in it , a wolf Herd, it seemed like the liquid was part of the sky and some of it part of the ground where thousands of Wolves were running and howling in chaos.

Nie may have not noticed this change but Azure did, he quickly took the Core from Nie and looked at it. Because of the long and hard work it finally was down to ¾ . He couldn't help himself and smile. he then took it and enlarged the strange bowl and put the core in the middle of it while controlling the liquid to flow around it.

He then moved it slowly upward so it could bath in the Moonshine. Then he created a flame of qi and moved it beneath the bowl. At first nothing happened again but slowly some black spots in the liquid did harden and then flew out of it and the core slowly began to diminish and become smaller.

Again some hours passed while he continued this progress until the Moon was right above them. After hours passed did the core finally disappears and the liquid again experience a Change, it now was in a blackish blue kind of state and 100 Wolves were running in an orderly fashion around and behind each other.

"Now the last Step Nie, for that I need your help. to make the Pill perfectly for you I need some of your body mass. With that the pill will always temper your body at the very limit of what you can endure" Azure says while moving the Stone that he Nie used for grinding into Nies hands.

Nie couldn't react quick enough to say something. The stone was now already in his hand and began to absorb forcefully some of his body mass. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Nie begins to cry out because of the pain but he endures it// Damm Azure why didn't you say that before// he thinks, while the pain begins to grow stronger.

"Young Nie you should let yourself fall unconscious it will lessen the pain and it won't affect the pill" Azure says in a worried tone. He didn't say this part before because he Nie would probably never agree to it so he did it force and in surprise so that Nie can´t stop it

Nie began to grit his teeth together and then looked towards Azure " Nooo.. I will endure it, and after that I will apologize for that " He says in a weakened voice.

Nies body mass slowly diminished while the strange stone began to send energy towards the liquid. The liquid then began to shine slowly and the more energy came to it the brighter did it shine and the brighter it shined the louder Nie cried out in agony.

Azure couldn't help but to smile bitterly and say " You may be angry after that but this will help you temper your mind and soul, I just wanted the best for you"

Half an hour later the Light filled out the whole area and Nie´s loud cries of agony could be heard everywhere around the Spring. Then finally at the 45 Minute mark did the Light suddenly shrink into a small ball and then explode, with that Nie's cries of agony end and the 100 Wolf Tempering Pills were formed.

The stone island was full of dust but azure easily controlled the Pills towards multiple Pill bottles "This is unbelievable Nie, the amount of pills exceeds 50, that's more than 7 Cauldrons of this Pill." Does Azure say in a surprised matter while looking in the direction where Nie was sitting.

The dust cloud was slowly dissipating but even before it dissipated Nie begin to talk. " Senior Azure, I think I will not be angry at you " What Nie says surprises Azure but what he saw surprised him even more. Because the stone took away more body mass then he taught.

Nie is now standing there naked because his clothes have become loose. His body build is now totally different. The Strange stone absorbed so much Body mass that Nie´s belly is now almost non-existent and his built is slim even his cheeks that still had a good amount of baby fat are now less filed. " You made me lose some weight Azure, something that I thought is impossible for me " Says Nie in a laughing manner. " And now let me test out these Pills."

Azure was laughing at Nies words but he too became strict right after Nie wanted to test the Pills. " No Young Nie. The strange stone took away more than it should, it probably has somewhat tempered your body and now you should get used to it and even if it didn't have done that you would have to wait at least one week because these pills need to absorb lunar essence"

Nie couldn´t help himself and just sighed" Then can you at least give me some clothes and then let us go back, I want to sleep" Azure nods and Nie's old clothes magically changed into the right size. Nie looked at this surprised and Azure only said " Cultivation isn't the only thing that we can learn."
