A whole year had passed since my awakening in the Garden of Eden, and during that time, I named all 10 million species that inhabited the garden, and let me say that many times I pulled all nighters just to try and get it done sooner.
As the year passed, I adapted to my life in the garden. With the help of Raphael I was able to locate a nice cave where I would be able to carve out into a home. I was able to train with my skills over the year and using Predator on each animal I came upon I easily was able to greatly enhance how many species I could mimic, after gaining over millions of different skills, Raphael combined them into the Ultimate SkillL Beast Monarch.
Beast Monarch allowed me to use the ability of any animal on earth. From delivering cannon like punches like the mantis shrimp, have a greater endurance, running as fast as a cheetah, swim at speeds of 80 mph. etc etc. A combination of all the skills I gotten from using Predator on the animals.
Now you may be worried that I just consumed all the animals but the truth is that there are a group for each species, so although I used predator on a bird or a lion, over the years they had reprodced by alot. Though upon reaching more than 100 of one species they all vanish and are sent to wherever they will exist around the world, all except for the Apex of the species. A male and female that are immortal and are tasked to redroduce and keep the numbers up. If a species were to go extinct completly it would cause the death of the Apex as well.
Moving on, I had quite the knowedge in my hands about other things as well that allowed me to create ideas for clothes, tools and other things I would need. Raphael would guide me into making those things. I now wore clothes similar to Tsukasa Shishio, it was quite comfortable and although I missed the use of pants. Crafting shoes was the hardest so I stuck with making leather sandles.
Raphael had quided me into carving a needle and used spidersilk as thread when I sewed my clothes as it was strong, elastic, and durable material.
Over thee year I also built my new home, I had found a good cave with a large opening and dragged over several logs I had cut down and shaved smooth before creating a open wall. Packing the outside with a layer of mud and stones.
Inside, the cave I cleaned the large open area, the walls and ceiling make sure that it was smooth and no dust. That took a couple days, and when I was finally done I seperated the open area into serveral sections, the largest was in the center where in the flour I carved a large square section with a circular whole in the middle to set logs.
A raised stone platform was used as a bed weaving a bamboo mat fefore lying a comforting wool blanket I knitted and a nice wool pillow, and let me tell you that I spent so much time learning these skills. Had begged Raphael to take the wool and do it herself but she thought it would be better that I learn how to do it first.
What was the point of getting an all powerful skill like Raphael when she didn't help me? Alright, maybe I am pushing it, Raphael had helped me greatly by training me anything I wanted to learn and after I got it down and could do it without help did she then help out and speed up the proccess of certain tasks. Sanding down the logs or flattening the walls, floors, and ceilings of the cave. She was a great help and if I am honest if Rimaru was actually listened to her, he would have learnt so much. Though again in a years time he had the ability to mimic so many monsters, having several really cool powers and had a grand following that only made him stronger, and all I have done in 3 years was gain a singular Ultimate Skill to harness the abilities of different animals.
When I was done I sat near the hearth and started a fire and tossed a small handful of dried rosemary into the flames to get the flames to release some aroma into the cave.
"You are doing quite well in this new life." Raphael spoke in my head.
"Well I have you don't I?" I responded. "I would have struggled otherwise, but it is thanks to you that I even know what to do."
"Well you better get going cause, God has just arrived with a woman."
"Oh he is here, didn't really know when to expect him to create Lilith." I said as I stood up and headed to the cave enterance. I had assumed that Lilith would have started out at the same time as Adam but it seemed that God was taking his time with her.
Before I could open the door, a knock was heard. I opened the door to see God and a girl that had to be Lilith, she seemed to be around my age.
Her skin bore a gentle olive tone, slightly darker than mine, and it seemed to absorb the warm sunlight of the garden. She had long, flowing black hair that cascaded gracefully down her back, framing her features with an air of elegance.
But what truly captured my attention were her eyes. They were a radiant shade of bright red, a stark contrast to the amber of my own. Her gaze held a captivating intensity, like the flames of a hidden fire, and in those eyes, I found a reflection of the passion and curiosity that burned within her.
"Adam, my son," he said, his voice resonating with a sense of purpose, "I have decided it was time for you to have a wife, this is Lilith. She shall be your companion and together you two shall be the first man and woman to exist..."
I regarded Lilith with a sense of wonder, her presence both captivating and enigmatic. She met my gaze with curiosity and a quiet determination.
God's eyes turned to look through the door into the cave and my clothes, a question in their depths. "Uhm, what is all this?"
"Oh, I made it." I responded. "The ideas came to me and I thought why not try it, I got the materials I needed and made sure to be respectful to the beasts and trees I took them from."
Yeah no way was I thanking anything for what I took. The first time I did, Raphael had laughed at me and told me that I didn't need to ask permission to take what I needed as by Ancient Law as the first man all things mortal belonged to me. I didn't know these Ancient Laws were but it did seem that as the First Man I had a crap ton of privlages.
Oh yeah, turns out I am something called a Primordial Human as I am the first of humans to be brought into existence. Though as a primordial I was born with full control of my own destiny, I alone stood as the father of mankind, the progenitor of Humanity. And as a Primordial human I had god-like physical abilities.
"I see...I don't sense that you have eaten the fruit." God spoke though whispering the last part but I had caught it, though the fruits were interesting I had no intrerest in either of the two trees. Yeah there were two of them. The tree of knowledge bore golden apples and the tree of life bore pink peaches.
"Did you say something about a fruit?" I asked.
"There is one rule in this garden, do not eat the forbidden fruits." God ordered his voice cracking like thunder before he took his leave. "Lilith, you are to submit to Adam. From this day on he owns you and you shall obey him."
I turned to my new wife and sighed as I stepped out of the way and motioned for her to enter. "All right, well it is great to meet you. Why don't you come inside, it is going to rain soon."
"It is not-" Lilith didn't get to finnish as thunder rung through the sky as it started raining down hard drenching her.
Lilith's response was a heavy sigh, and she pushed through and she stood in the corner looking at me.
"You are not going to dry off fast just standing there." I grabbed a wool and silk towel from one of the bamboo buckets and threw it at her. She looked at it confused and I sighed and walked over and started to dry her. "I am really going to have to teach you alot of things."
She finally spoke, her words laced with frustration. "I am not going to submit to you, as the first woman to be created I should have as much control as you. Why do you do whatever that God says?"
I snorted in response as I set the towel aside and handed her some spare clothes I had made. "You think I do it because I am loyal to that man? I was born from clay and God's blood, the only reason I am even doing what god tasked me with is to get away from the boredom of life."
Lilith frowned as she got dressed. "About our new relationship, I will not-"
"Look, God says that I am in charge or whatever but I think that we are equals and should work togeather. We may be forced into this marriage but I would love to actually know who my wife is."
Lilith looked shocked and collapsed on my bed not knowing what to do. "Why do you stay here, why not just run and leave this place and be free?"
"The day I leave, I will need to prepare to live on my own. I will need to learn how to survive and living here is a lot better than the unknown. I follow the same schedule everyday. Ignore what God told you, you have your own freedom to do what you would like. So let's be friends, as I said earlier I would love to teach you new things to you that you do not now, we are in this togeather so my knowledge is yours."
"I guess I can settle with that." Lilith spoke after a while. "So what do you do anyways?"
"Whatever I want, my only tasks were to name all the animals and to maintain the garden, but it is literally a magical garden that nurishes and takes care of itself. So I learn new skills like sewing that towel or these clothes. Knitting that wool blanket you are sitting on, let me show you a tour of what I have done so far in our home."
I led Lilith around the large cavern and showed her different rooms, where I stored materials, the bath that had a bamboo pipe connecting to a lake outside and through the cave walls, it had an on and off switch to control how much water came out. A food storage and some other things. It sucked that I couldn't have electricity yet so instead I used torches to light the cavern.
When the tour was complete, Lilith took to sleeping in the bed so I turned my attention to making her some clothes. As I worked, my hands deftly moved through the process of selecting some carved bone, a roll of black leather, silk thread as I grabbed a needle and a obsidian knife and got to work.
An hour or so in I could feel Lilith's observant gaze upon me, but she remained silent, as I explained each step, from threading the bone needle to stitching the bones and leather together. I could sense Lilith's curiosity as she watched me work, her bright red eyes following every movement.
Thanks to Raphael inhancing my skill's I got a nice long dress completed and some sandles. Lilith changed into them and looked at the outfit, before ripping off the sleeves and ripping the side of the dress slitting it showing off her long legs.
"Much better."
Damn okay then. Just completly destory the dress I made by hand. Raphael was laughing inside my head as I stared in horror at ripped sleeves on the ground.
